Hi. Glad you find the story interesting. Arohi's character in my story is yet to be revealed in full detail, cz it's only been 2 chapters, but later you'll realize, she's someone who likes nice and sweet guys. And you'll agree that Arjun, with his funny but rude t-shirt and frowns and glares at Arohi was definitely not looking sweet or nice to her! 😃

Guys, I'm back already with Chapter 3!! I really have to stop writing now. But I'm also a bit worried cz these ideas might not stay with me till tomorrw. That's y i'm penning them down today itself. And if I've completed a chapter, why shouldn't i share it with you :)

Chapter 3: 3G

"Hmm... So your dance partner is Arjun Kakkar? Not bad," smiled Shefali.

"What's not bad? I'm stuck with this sadiyal who thinks he is 3G - God's Gift to Girls!"

Shefali laughed, and so did Gurpreet, who had overheard this. "Don't worry Arohi," she said, "I'll see to it that Arjun behaves. He can be a bit impolite sometimes, but dil pe nahi lene ka, okay?"

Arohi nodded.

Gurpreet was explaining everyone their positions, when Arohi spotted Arjun Kakkar work his way through the crowd to stand next to her.

Straightening his back and without looking at Arohi, he asked her, "So how do we do it?"

She looked at him blankly for a moment. What was he saying?

He turned towards her and repeated his question, this time in hindi, "Kaise karte hain?"

"Kya?"

"Arre wahi'"

Arohi started feeling a bit odd. What was Arjun Kakkar talking about?

"What do you want to do?" she asked irritated with his puzzling questions.

"You really are as dumb as you look!"

"What do you mean? What's with your stupid questions!"

Arjun turned to face her and grabbed her hand.

"The first step, you idiot! How are we supposed to do it?" Arjun said, frowning in annoyance.

"YOU idiot," she retorted. "We're just doing the formation... Steps haven't been taught yet."

His expression changed from impatience to awkwardness.

"Oh... I didn't know. I was thinking the steps would have been taught by now."

"N-no... we're still doing the formation," Arohi repeated, a bit flustered by his abrupt change in tone. He suddenly looked different. Almost apologetic with a sheepish half smile. And this was the first time he made proper eye contact with her. She realized he had light brown eyes that were the color of almonds and honey. And that he had a tiny mole above where his right brow started. Almost cute, she thought. And her hand felt very warm in his. Her hand? He was still holding her hand!

"You mind leaving my hand?" she said as soon as she could find her voice, feeling uncomfortably warm now.

"Huh?" he mumbled blankly.

What could this guy be thinking? Why was he still holding her hand? Arohi shook her hand that was in his and he looked down to see he was holding it close to his side.

Quickly, as if coming back to his senses, Arjun left her hand with a forceful jolt, and wiped his hand on his denims, scowling with distaste.

Arohi felt a rush of resentment towards him. And the immediate urge to push him to the ground with all her strength, and then stamp all over him. Maybe add a few kicks, too.

She went through the rest of the practice without once looking at him. How dare he behave in that arrogant manner! Arjun Kakkar was really a sadiyal who thought he was 3G. She was going to have to teach him a lesson in modesty!
