Payyar ka intehan

Chapter 4

Prem heard her sweet voice after three years. He could also sense of hurt in her voice. Heer was definitely hurt by his decision to cut all ties with her. Prem had a large presence in Heer's life even six years ago. He was her best friend.

Prem missed these time when then used to travel together, share the thoughts, and attended various events together. He now accepted the fact that, he would never get romantic love from Heer. However, he also missed his friendship with Heer.

Heer mentioned now about a dinner. Yes, Prem was planning to take her in a dinner because of the bet but he could not do it until today.

Prem remembered how he was planning to confess his feelings for her in that dinner but after knowing that, she considered him as a elder brother like figure, it was no longer a option for him.

Prem still maintained a close relationship with her as a best friend until 2011 when she had no boyfriend.

After that, Prem slowly started to distance him for her as Heer had a boyfriend in her life at that time.

Prem despite of his best effort, never able to like her boyfriend in true sense. He thought that, her boyfriend had too much immaturity and a very different mindset from Heer.

Prem always thought her boyfriend did not give the dedication and care properly to Heer.

However, he never let Heer to know his feelings. He did not want to impose his judgment on her love life.

Prem could also sense that, her boyfriend had difficulties in accepting his close friendship with Heer. Prem realized that point, his proximity with her creating problem in her romantic life.

It was difficult time for Prem. He could find his own happiness in her happiness but it still sometimes hurt him to see her with other man. Prem at that time evaluate the whole situation and made one of the toughest decision in his life by slowly separating himself from her life.

Prem could give many justifications behind his decision, like,

1. His one sided love affair and watching her with another man was slowly affecting him in his professional life. He could not able to concentrate on his work projects.

2. He did not want to create jealousy in her boyfriend. He could sense that her boyfriend was being increasingly tensed after seeing Heer trust on Prem. Prem did not approve that man.

Nevertheless, Prem also knew that man was chosen by Heer Maan as her boyfriend, Heer had feelings for that man so Prem did not want to become the reason of Heer's breakup with her boyfriend.

3. Prem also thought that it was the right time for him to make an exit from Heer's life. He thought that, Heer had her boyfriend and therefore him no longer in her life.

"Heer hum kitne saal baad mile aur tumhe abhi purani bet jitne ki inam chaiye. Tum bilkul nahi badle abhi bhi bahut ziddi ho." Prem reamrked.

Heer smiled after heraring Prem's remark. Shefelt good after hearing his voice. In her tough life, she missed her ex best friend.

"Bet to bet hota hein, Prem mein tumhe bata nahi sakti ki jab mujhe Mehata ji ne bola wo tum ko bhi iss project mein cast karna chahate. Mujhe bahut accha lagega tumhare saat dobara saat saal baad kam karne mein." Heer happily commented.

Prem did not know what to say. One part of him was afraid to work with her. The shooting of Anokha rishta for last few months was difficult to him, as he had to do romantic scene regularly with her.

On the other hand, seven years had been passed since he last worked with Heer in a TV series and he thought he now had a greater control on his emotion.

Besides that, in that new TV series Prem and Heer might have a different role than Anokha rishta.

Lastly, he was a professional TV actor, he could not let his emotions to dictate his professional life as it would be an insult to his actor identity.

"Mujhe bhi bahut acche lagea agar mujhe tumhare saat dobara kaam karne ka mauka mile to, par pahele hume Mehata ji se project ka concept jaan lena chahiye. " Prem commented.

"Prem, Heer mujhe lagta hein hamara naya show ki concept tum dono ko acche lagenge. Actually ye ek thriller story hein, ye ek multistarter tv series hein. Do male lead honge, usme se tumhare double role hoga aur tumhare romantic pair dono hi female lead se hongi." Mr. Mehata informed Prem.

Prem thought, it was a great offer. Yes, he had to work hard for doing dual roles but as a male TV actor it would give him the opportunities to portray various shades of character. He would also have the opportunity to develop onscreen chemistry with two actress and it would further strengthen his position in tv industry.

However, he was feeling curious to know about Heer's role, therefore he shifted his attention to Mr. Mehata.

"Heer, tum postive, negative dono hi role mein mahir ho, iss liye mein tumhe do option de raha hu.

Pahela tum ek female band sakte ho aur tumhare opposite mein Prem honge.

Dosra ye iss show ki main negative character hein ya bhi keh sakte ho iss show ka sabse powerful character mein se ek hein. Iss character mein tum Prem jo judwa do bhai ke choti behan hogi." Mehata told Heer.

Prem did not really like the fact that, Heer might become his onscreen sister; Prem still could not forget that, Heer once, eight years ago characterize him as an elder brother figure and he had zero interest to play the role of her brother.

Heer was also felt disturbed when she heard that, she might become onscreen sister of Prem. Yes, Heer once told one of her co-star that, she saw Prem as elder brother like figure. Nevertheless, it was eight years ago and she told it without thinking seriously. She soon came to regret it and realized that, she could never think Prem as her brother. Something in her heart was stopping her from doing that.

Prem was her costar; he was once her ex best friend, but Heer decided that, Prem would never become her brother onscreen or off-screen brother.

Heer realized that she would felt miserable if she had to tie rakhi around Prem's hand while doing shooting of this new TV series.

After seeing him again, she was feeling secure and uncomfortable. Heer realized that, she needed Prem back as her friend and working with him in a new tv series would provide her that opportunity.

"Mehata ji mujhe lagta hein ki mein female lead ka role karna chaongi. Meine bahut sare negative role kar li, aab mujhe kutch alag karna chahiye. Prem ke saat meri pahele si hein bahut acchi understanding, chemistry aur mujhe lagta viewer ko jyda pasand ayegi.

Dosri role bhi acche hein, lekin mein kabhi bhi Prem ki onscreen sister nahi ban sakti, meri paheli show ka hero tha meri fan usse meri bhai ke roop mein kabhi bhi accept nahi korenge. " Heer told Mr. Mehata.

Prem felt very much happy after hearing Heer's rejection of the role of his sister. According to him she made a right point their fan base which was still alive today would openly revolt if they were casted in brother sister role.

However, he was still unsure about accepting the romantic role against her.

However, he told himself after seven years, he had become more mature and he had now better control on his emotion. Besides that, this new tv series would be a thriller compare to total romantic drama Anokha rishta therefore he could hope that, the romantic scenes between them would be less in number and less intense compare to Anokha rishta.

However he felt he still needed some time to think whole thing thoroughly.

"Mehata ji aap ne double roles ke liye mujhe consider kiya, ye mere liye bahut badi baat hein aur mera abhi tak iss project ko liye response positive. Phir bhi mujhe kutch waqt ki jarurat hein iss project accept karne se pehele. Khas kar ke agar aap mujhe mere dono role ek summery mujhe padne ke liyedenge to mere liye bahut acche hongekoi bhi faisala kar ne se pehele " Prem told Mr. Mehata.

" Sure Prem ye lo."Mr. Mehata gave a file to Prem after saying that.

After that, Mr. Mehata also gave a file to Heer which contained summary of her character in tv series.

After that, both Prem and Heer left the office.

" Prem tumhe meri saat kam karne mein koi dikkat to nahi hein?" Heer asked Prem.

" Nahi Heer, aisa bilkul nahi hein, wo to bas mein mera characters ke bare thoda aur study karna chahate the." Prem told Heer.

" Tum badal gaye thodasa, aage to tum itna calculated nahi the." Heer commented.

"Waqt ke saat saat insan ko bhi badlna chahiye warna waqt usse pitche chod deta hein. Zindegi ek karushetra hein Heer iss mein hamara kadam soach samaj ke uthane chahate. Agar hum jastbati ho jate hein, agar hume kisi se lagao ho jate hein to hum zindegi daur mein paiche par jate hein waqt aage nikal jata hein." Prem told Heer.

"Prem tum to aise baat kar rahe ho jaisi ki tumhe payyar-rishta ye sab pasand hi nahi. Indian tv ke romantic hero se aise payar khilaf soach thoda surprising hein." Heer commented.

" Heer asli zindegi ki duniya parde ki dunya se bahut judha hoti hein. Iss duniya parde ke dunya se bahut zyda kathor hein. Bahut sare log parde ki rongeen dunya mein kam karte karte reel aur real farak bhul jate hein. Parde ki rishto ko aapni asli zindegi mein bhi dikhna chahte hein.

Iski parinam akhir mein bahut sare dardhota hein, raat mein ekle mein aasu behana hoti hein. Zindegi bahut lambi nahi hein Heer, payyar iss chote se zindegi ko dard, tanhayi se aur zyda chote kar dete hein. Payyar wo zeher jisme mein tumhe ekbar nahi hazar bar marne ki khomta rakte hein, iss liye mera aise soach hein." Prem told Heer and took leave from her.

" Kitne badal gaye ho tum Prem, aisa lagta hein waqt ne tumhe aaj aise badal diya jis ki wajse mujhe tumko pehacan mein bhut taklef ho rahi hein. Lekin jo bhi ho Prem, iss bar tumhare ye dost tumhara itne asani se picha nahi choregi. "Heer commented after she saw Prem's car left the office.

" Ha Heer mein badal gaya, mera har soach aaj ek alag moure mein khadi hein saat saal pehele ki tulone mein. Lekin ek chease hein jisko mein aaj bhi badal nahi saka wo hein mera tumhare liye ek tarfa payyar." Prem told himself while driving the car.

" Rang dhal jate hai
Din badal jate hai
Rate so jati hai
Rahe kho jati hai
Pyar khota nahi
Pyar sota nahi
Pyar dhalta nahi
Ha badalta nahi.

Prem continued to drive his car to his home while hearing the song on FM. However, even he did not know when tears started to flow through his eyes.

I was literally waiting for you to update this ff and i am so happy to read the new update. Poor premeer i really hope that atleast now everything goes well for them
