Meher, Geet and Heer took their books from their lockers and headed towards their class room. Yuvraaj saw them and his jaws just dropped seeing Meher. He tapped the tall, handsome guy beside him who was totally lost in the game on his cell phone. Girls were all checking out that charming guy as usal. Every girl in the school drooled over him because of his sparkling expressive eyes and breath taking smile. When the guy did not pay any heed to Yuvraaj, he tapped him again. 'Preet, just look at Meher at least once! WHAT THE HELL!!', Yuvi said. Yes, the guy was Preet. That good looking champ was changed to a total handsome hunk. Preet turned and looked at the direction Yuvi was staring. Preet almost got frozen at the sight of Meher.
Preet: Yuvi, my pal? Am I still Alive? *Gulps*
Meanwhile, Meher, Geet and Heer reached them.
Yuvraaj: What is wrong Meher? *Still shocked*
Geet: Exactly this was our state at her home.
Heer: Totally buddies totally.
Preet: Time to leave the planet damn!
Meher: Shut up guys! I just felt like doing it. After all I am a girl at the end of day and a grown up one now.
Preet: Salwar suit and Meher! Yuvraaj catch me I am going to be senseless soon. *Acts like he fainted*
Meher: Wow! *Irritated face* Will kick you right in the butt only then you will understand I think.
Yuvraaj: Ufff! *Relieved expression* At least your nature did not change.
Preet: Yeah right Yuvi, thank God!
Meher: Of course I am never going to be that girly, come on! I just changed my clothing and styles but that does not mean I will start acting like a typical girl. *Disgusted face*
Everyone laughed seeing Meher's face and gave Meher a group hug together.
Suddenly a girl called Laura came to Preet and held his arms tighly.
Laura: Preet, see I have dressed up so beautifully and my friends just cancelled the movie hangout at the last moment. What should I do after school, tell me no?
Preet: Oh that is sad. Then you should study in the library Laura. As far as I remember you were totally weak in Chemistry. This year it is crucial to good in all subjects you know.
Everyone laughed out loud and Laura left the place making a face.
Meher: Hahaha! Oh Preet, even how much you have become a prank master now or a total freak like us yet you are so bad at girl related stuffs. Deep inside you are still so shy and exactly the same introvert.
Preet: Haha, very funny. *Mocking tone*
Yuvraaj's phone beeped. He got a text and everyone understood who it was seeing his expression.
Geet: Oho Samaira? Ahem ahem.
Yuvraaj: Umm she wants to meet me before the class. I am coming in a while guys. *A bit blushing-face*
Preet: Yes yes, go to your sister whom you are dating since last one year.
Yuvraaj: *Irritated* Pal, she is a very distant cousin. Not blood related.
Preet: Yeah but still cousin. *Gave Geet a hi5 and started laughing*
Meher: Yuvi you go. It is her first day of 11th also and she should not be late nor you for the first class.
Yuvraaj nodded and left.
Preet: Meher you are emotional I know but don't you think that about these love stuffs you get too much emotional?
Meher: Yeah anything na? *Damn care- face*
Preet: Sure Meher sure. But wait, shit I forgot! I told our Bio teacher Mr. Mark that I will meet him today. Let us meet in the class then guys, okay?
Saying that Preet just rushed from there.
Geet: I don't know when Preet will fall for any girl. So many girls are crazy for him in the school but he never even looks at one.
Heer: True thing Geet. I don't know when my twin will learn to reply girls even let alone flirt.
Meher: First of all Heer madam, you are no less than your twin. Remember what kind of replies you give to every guy who tries to ask you out? Then coming to you Geetu, these girls are not for love, they only know to flirt. Why should he feel? *Tries to defend*
'But you feel for him', came a manly voice from behind. All the three girls looked behind and saw Prem standing there. Prem came to them.
Geet: Hi Prem! Listen guys you people continue. I am coming. I need to go to the canteen for a juice. Feeling so thirsty.
Heer: Wait Geet, I am coming too.
Meher: Okay girls, come back soon.
After Geet and Heer left,
Prem: Chiki you did not answer my question.
Meher: *Looks away* What question Bagu?
Prem: That mad Preet is still umware of his own feelings but you do know about your one right?
Meher: What are you even talking about? *Bell rings* Oh bagu you heard that? Class bell. Let us go, we are getting late.
Meher almost ran from there and Prem smiled on that.
In the class when everyone was choosing their benches to sit, Heer went to her as usual favourite sitting spot of every class. The seat right beside the window on the right side of the room. Heer always used to sit on a bench of a such particular place in every classroom so all the classmates also knew where Heer would sit and they never took her seat. Geet was about to sit beside Heer that day when she noticed something unusual at the corner of their desk.
Geet: Hey what is that?! An envelope?
Heer: What?! Where?!
Geet: Look at the corner of the desk at your side.
They found out that there was a little envelope kept at the corner of the table and it had a letter and a Twix chocolate inside. The envelope claimed that it was for Heer. Geet got way too much excited and she called out all the others of the family gang. Everyone gathered at their bench.
Heer: I don't even know what kind of a joke is this. *Confused face*
Yuvraaj: Come on Heer, someone just dropped you a love letter and a chocolate. Someone got a real serious admirer I see.
Geet: Totally. Aww this is so romantic na?
Preet: Who is trying to disturb my sister now uff!
Meher: Preet stop now. First Heer, please read the letter out. I must say the guy even have noticed which is your favourite chocolate too.
Heer: Dear Heer, I know this is kind of weird and filmy but I had no other way to express myself. I am not proposing you or anything. I just want to be friends with a beautiful human like you. I won't say much about you because it may disclose my feelings for you but first, all I want now is to know each other and value each other for the person we are. Though I already know you much but I want to know you better. Will you give me a chance to let you know who I am too? If your heart says a yes to this, please leave me a note any day in the student fun letter box at the canteen and I will pick it up. Please take your time to think and decide. Your secret friendirer (Friend+admirer= friendirer, hehe)...
Preet: Are you serious?! Who this jerk is? Is he mad or what. Tear the letter up Heer. You are not replying anyone.
Yuvraaj: What Preet? Stop being a possessive brother. Let Heer decide na?
Geet: Heer, write back to this guy. He seems to be very different than others. What say Prem?
Meher: Yeah bagu why are you so silent? I have not seen you speaking in last few minutes at all. What is your opinion regarding this?
Prem: Umm, what can I say? This should be Heer's decision.
Preet: Heer is not writing to anyone.
Heer: Actually Preet I think I want to.
Preet: What?! *Shocked*
Heer: I kind of feel that I know who he is. All I want to do is to write back so that I can know if I am right or not. Besides, replying to one or two letters won't make a big difference in my life.
Preet: All these filmy stuffs are making all of you crazy which is bullshit.
Meher: Calm down Preet. Nothing will happened to Heer. She is not going on a blind date but just replying a blind letter. Heer, if you think you want to reply then reply. If you find the person fine to be friends with, be friends but please be safe too. Don't fall for someone without knowing properly everything. Don't rush it, take things easily okay?
Heer: Don't worry Meher, I will be super fine. I just want to know if my guessing is right.
Preet: Okay fine. Do whatever you want Heer but please take care of my twin hmm? She means a lot to me. *Holds Heer's hand being tensed*
Heer: Don't worry twin, all of you are with me right? *Assures Preet by holding his hand back*
Everyone smiled and share a group hug whispering "We are family" together.
Later that day, everyone was enjoying their first class. Suddenly a girl came at the door of the classroom asking 'May I come in, mam?'...Everyone looked at her and saw it was Ashlesha. She just did not change a bit.
Geet: What is she wearing? *Disgusted face*
Preet: She is even wearing something?
Prem: Bro, she just returned from a beach party with her half dozen boyfriends i guess. Look how exhausted she is.
6 of them controlled their laughs as it was classroom.
At the end of the first day of that year in school when they all came out of their classroom, Meher was really disturbed.
Meher: Preet, why your name is not in the attendance sheet?!
Preet: Uff told you na maybe there is some problem. Don't worry.
Prem: Yes, we will go to the office room now Chiki.
Preet: Yeah Kittu! You just go home and get prepared for the party tonight.
Yuvraaj: Will have a amazing party.
Heer: Yeah when all 6 of us gets together, nothing can be more fun than that.
Geet: Yeah we will rock it.
Prem: Gee...
Geet: Shut up! I know what you are going to say.
Except Geet everyone laughed.
Meher: Okay but what is the party for? I still don't know.
Preet: Umm...
Prem: Party for getting into the last year of the school, right Preet?
Preet: Yes yes exactly.
Meher: Oh okay. So let us go to the office room now?
Preet: We can go tomorrow.
Meher: Are you serious? *Angry*
Prem: Chill Chiki. I am taking my baby to the office room. *Pouts at Preet* You guys go home and Meher you actually need to go earlier than them. It is monday, aunty needs to leave for the court by now.
Meher: Oh yeah right. I forgot and stop these gay nonsense you too.
Preet: *Holding Meher's hands* Don't worry Kittu, all will be fine and no we just can't do that right Prem?
Prem winked to that and Preet laughed.
Then the family gang gave each other a group hug and left for their respective destinations.
