Priya (walks out of the bathroom towel drying her hair): "What a beautiful day! And why wouldn't it be a beautiful day? After all, it's my birthday. I'm sure the good wishes have already begun to pour in." (She picks up her phone, and frowns.) "What?!?! Not a single message! Athi always waits until it's the right day in her time zone, but what about the others?"

Meanwhile...

Athisda (in full take charge mode): "Hurry up guys! We need some more flowers over there, streamers over here, and don't forget about hanging up the flutter balls!"

Maria: "Aye Aye Aaachooo! I mean Aye Aye Captain." She and Sana run around trying to complete her orders.

Fatima (comes down from the step-ladder after putting up the final string of lights, stands back and smiles at her work): "All done!"

Athisda: "All done! Who's going to cover those tables with tablecloths? What about blowing up these balloons? I just got done making arrangements with the caterer, but did anyone bother to pick up the cake?"

Mou (walks into the room holding a large white box): "Did anyone say cake?"

Maria: "Well well...look who the cat dragged in. I was certain you wouldn't show up."

Mou: "Very funny Lazy Chick. I have been extremely busy lately...but not that busy. After all, it's Priya we're talking about."

Maria (walks up to her and takes the cake box): "Is it Choc-Aaachoo?!"

Mou: "Choc-Aachoo? Is that French for something?"

Athisda: "You'll have to excuse her. She has a really bad cold."

Maria (sniffles and frowns): "But Athi is still making me work my tail off."

Just then the phone rings.

Athisda: "Who is it?"

Sana: "Who else...Priya."

Fatima: "That's the 3^rd time she's called. In fact, she's calling everyone one by one."

Mou (gives an evil chuckle): "Looks like she's getting desperate."

Sana (sighs): "I don't blame her. She probably thinks we've all forgotten."

Athisda: "Are you sure we can't answer her call...not even once?"

Mou: "Come on Athi...don't go all softie on me now. We have to stick to the plan...like glue. The look on her face when she sees us all gathered here just for her special day will be well worth it. Trust me."

Later that evening...

Athi (stares impatiently at her watch): "It's almost 7, why isn't she here yet? Maria are you sure you gave her the right address?"

Maria (nods): "Yup! And I thought of the perfect excuse to get her here too. For being a loyal member of I-F and the Kis Desh forum, you Priya madam have been randomly selected as the winner of a free din-din-Aachooo! I mean dinner."

Mou: "Uff! You and your cold!"

Maria: "Hey, it's a good thing I have this cold otherwise Priya would have recognized my voice."

Athisda: "Get to the important part. Did she buy your excuse?"

Maria: "Well, she said she may as well as accept as no one else had thought of her today."

Sana: "Poor Priya."

Fatima: "Don't worry, she'll feel a lot better after seeing what we planned for her."

Athisda: "Shhh! I think I hear footsteps. Lights out! Everyone hide!"

Priya (walks slowly toward the darkened hall, double checking the piece of paper she wrote the address on): "Hmm...this is the right place, but why is it so dark in here? Just as I thought, it was probably a prank. I mean since when did I-F start giving away free dinners?"

She was about to leave when she heard a loud sneeze.

Mou (rolling her eyes and whispering): "Great going Lazy Chick."

Athisda: "Shhh!!"

Priya (walks into the darkened hall): "Hello? Is anybody here?"

There is only pin drop silence. She shakes her head in disappointment and is about to leave again, when suddenly the lights come on.

"Surprise!!" Everyone yells, jumping out of their hiding spots.

Priya (shocked): "Oh my God! What are you all doing here?"

Sana (hugs Priya): "Happy Birthday Priya!"

Priya: "You guys remembered!"

Fatima: "Of course we remembered Priya. How could we possibly forget about the Captain Cool of our forum?"

Sana (nodding her head): "Our very own mini-celeb."

Athisda: "Bottom line is that we all love you Priya. And we all wanted to show you how much, by giving you this surprise party."

Mou (chuckles): "But we got you good, didn't we?"

Priya (Looks at Mou with narrowing eyes): "And I bet it was your idea too."

Maria (walks in rolling a tea trolley with a cake on it): "Tan Ta-da! Here comes the cake! Hey Priya! Ha-Hap Bir-Aachoo! Her sneeze blows all the candles out on the cake.

All the girls: "Maria!!

Maria (blushes and smiles): "Oops! Happy Birthday Priya!

Priya's phone started to beep non stop suddenly startling her 😲 She slowly smiles after realizing the beeps are notifications for her b'day from all her friends / family / fans around the world. 🤡

(She thought - huh "I'm a mini celeb after all" who can forget me?!

She wondered why all these coming now and not before, after all it's 7pm. Where were all these ppl she wondered 😳 and then decided her friends must have arranged it to happen this way. 😆

She made a mental note to return the "favour" they've done on her to them when the right time comes!)
