Well...as u know m sushant's fan from PR...i havent seen kis desh...bt reading this story...i can imaginise everything so beautifully...u have done superb job!! I am TOOO MUCH HAPPY that you made an account for me here and commented di <3 You simply are great..So you left the comment for the prologue. I know you have started reading the chapters too but i wonder if you have finished them all. I am going to post the 10th chapter now, will be waiting for your feedbacks of all the chapters! LOVE YOU SO MUCH.

Here I am with the 10th part :D

Chapter 10

Meher knew what was the truth still she looked at Ashlesha with uneasy eyes. She did not know why but she wanted to happen it the other way. Somewhere deep in her heart she hoped for her assumption to be proven as wrong. But sadly it was not the case. Meher just forced a smile on her face and hugged Ashlesha congratulating her. Ashlesha replied a thank you hugging Meher and then after a while broke the hug.
Ashlesha: Mehro, let me take you out to Preet and Viren. I think it is time we should tell Viru about it too.
Meher: Yeah I think you two can tell him after all Viru is the best friend of both of yours.
Ashlesha: So what are we waiting for? Come on...

Ashlesha went to the drawing room followed by Meher. Ashlesha went direct to Preet and hugged him. Preet was surprised on this, as well as Viren.
Ashlesha: *Hugging Preet* Preet, I think we should tell Viru about it as Meher have guessed it already.
Preet: *Breaking the hug* What?! You already know Mehro?! Oh well, yeah then I think we should tell Viren too...
Viren: What happend pals? Tell me.
Ashlesha: Preet, can you tell him? I am feeling shy. *Blushing*
Preet: Oh Ash darling you are too sweet.
Viren: Will anyone ever tell me please? *Getting irritated*
Meher: I think these two will never, so let me tell you Viru...Can I Ash and Preeto?
Preet: No no Meher, I am telling him now...We wanted to tell you Viru that, that ...
Viren: What?! *Tensed by suspense*
Preet: That Meher is a female donkey.
Both Preet and Ashlesha bursted out into laughter, whereas Meher and Viren looked at them being blank for some moments...

Meher: What?! What does that even mean Preet? *Shocked*
Viren: Were you two trying to crack a joke or what?
Ashlesha: *Controlling her laugh* This crazy girl thought that me and Preet are in a relationship and we don't want to let anyone know about it now.
Preet: *Laughing* Oh Meher, how could you?
Meher: That means you two are not?
Preet: Are you mad?! No. Ash came to me and told me in my ears while hugging that what we were suspecting was right and told me to play along with her in her drama.
Ashlesha: So how was it Meher?

Meher, who was till now confused and pretty much blank could not resist herself but gave a big smile of relief. Preet noticing that, narrowed his eyes...
Preet: Meher why are you so happy?
Meher got embarrassed badly on Preet's words and tried to control herself.
Meher: *Trying to pretend* Oh no no Preet, I just realised that what kind of a stupid act I did the whole day so I smiled thinking what a big fool I am.
Ashlesha: Hahaha Mehro, that sure you are.
Viren: Meher, you are a wonderful girl. People do make wrong assumptions. No worries. Don't stress.
Meher: Haha, Viren I am not stressing myself to anything.
Preet: By the way Ash as you were saying before going to Meher in the kitchen, I think that Meher should teach you making the alu parathas for dinner now before you two leave tonight.
Meher: WHAT?! TONIGHT?! *Loud tone because of being suprised*
Ashlesha: Yes Mehro, we have too. I know we were supposed to go tomorrow morning but Viren got a message from a class mate that we have a make up class tomorrow afternoon. *Sighed*
Viren: Yes, I wish we could stay longer.
Preet: Yea me too pal. But now Ash and Meher hurry up, you two will leave in 2 hours from now so I think you two should start now.
Ashlesha: Preeto why I feel that you are craving for alu parathas?
Meher: Yes, I second that.
Preet: Now as you two have caught me already, so what are you waiting for? *Winked*
Viren: Make me some too.
Both Meher and Ashlesha nodded in a disapproving way as if they were thinking what to do with the boys and left for the kitchen.

Meher and Ashlesha had a great time making alu parathas and Ashlesha proved to be a very good student. Ashlesha could not thank Meher more because she could go back to her flat in sydney and make alu parathas from then. Viren who lived just 1 block away from Ashlesha demanded Ashlesha should make him some often too. They had a gala time at dinner where the other three pulled Meher's leg for thinking such a thing about Preet and Ashlesha, praised Meher's cooking and told Meher about the beautiful memories they shared from childhood to till that day. Meher enjoyed the stories a lot and she felt really glad to have such friends. After the dinner, it was soon the time for Ashlesha and Viren to leave.

Meher: I will miss you guys. When are you going to come back for another weekend?
Viren: Oh Meher, we will miss you a lot, especially your food. As far as the matter of coming back, this time you two should visit us at Sydney.
Ashlesha: Yeah, you can stay in my flat and Preeto can stay at Viru's.
Preet: Even if we plan something like that, it won't be possible before 2 or 3 weeks because you know it will take time for Meher to adjust in a foreign land and I don't want to rush her for anything.
Viren: Preet, you are impossible. Meher will do just fine, see we are here on our first weekend just like that she will too, right Mehro?
Meher: Umm, I am quite not sure Viren. It is like this is my first time that I am not at home and neither at Delhi. In fact I am not even in India. I may take a bit time to get settled with this environment and university.
Ashlesha: Absolutely right Meher. Take your time. We will miss you so much but if you two won't be able make any plans after 2 weeks, then we will come for a visit again don't worry.
Viren: Uh, yeah Meher. We will meet again wherever the place be.
Preet: I guess my friends have already forgotten me. *Making a fake grumpy face*
Viren: Wow Preeto the drama king as always. Come on, before leaving give me a hug bro.
Preet smiled and hugged Viren.
Ashlesha: Come on, take me in for a hug too.
Three of the best friends went for a group hug while Meher admired them. Breaking the hug Ashlesha hugged Meher. Viren was about to go to Meher to hug her but understading that Ashlesha held him back and told him, Meher might don't like it as she had grown up with strong Indian culture and she just had met them yesterday. Understanding that Viren shook hands with Meher. Preet and Meher went down at the basement of the apartment building where Viren's car was. Viren and Ashlesha got in the car and started off for Sydney smiling at Preet and Meher while they waved their friends a goodbye in return.

Coming back to the flat, Preet and Meher bid each other goodnight and went to their rooms. Meher locked the door of her room and just after that she took a deep breath closing her eyes. Then opening her eyes she smiled, she smiled with her all. She knew what was the source of her happiness but she wanted not to focus on that. She could not fall so weak for Preet Juneja. Preet had no one in his life but there were a lot of alarming things about this matter. They were in Australia living in a same building, moreover for a week in a same flat too and he was her Heer didi's brother-in-law. She had to think about her family. No she can't think like that. She mentally prepared herself not to fall for Preet. Just when Meher was going through all these, she heard a knock on the door. She opened the door and saw Preet stading there in a trouser and tee shirt.

Meher: You want something Preet?
Preet: No. Oh well, yes. I want your company at terrace.
Meher: At terrace?! *Surprised* At this hour?!
Preet: Umm yeah, please Meher don't say no. Trust me you would love it there.
Meher: *Thinking a bit* Okay Preet, I am coming with you to the terrace.
Preet gave a big smile and almost dragged Meher outside the flat.

They view from the terrace was out of the world Meher felt. It was so soothing to see the Melbourne city decked up with night lights and the cold windy vibes gave the perfect combination to it. Meher closed her eyes and tried to feel the senerity. Seeing that Preet smiled.
Preet: So how are you feeling Meher?
Meher: *Opening her eyes* This is incredible Preet. I just don't know what to say.
Preet: I know Meher. This place seems always so amazing at night. Don't worry we will often come here at this hour and have long deep conversations.
Meher: Long deep conversations?
Preet: Yeah remember, you wanted me and Ashlesha to have some alone moments? *Laughs* To which I replied that me, Ash and Viru had spent enough time together. So now I think I should spend some time with you, after all we were childhood besties.
Meher: *Bit blushing and trying to hide it* Preet, you know I am so glad that I got friends like you theree and you are just too nice Mr. Juneja youngest.
Preet: Meher, I had to be after all you are Miss Flawless.
Meher: *Laughs* No I am not Preeto.
Preet: Mehro, no you are.
Meher: No I am not.
Preet: No you are.
Meher: Preet, I guess if it will continue like this, we will end up fighting over this whole night.
Both Preet and Meher laughed.
Preet: I think we should talk about something else. We should start from where we were aparted in childhood. Come on tell me how was your school days in Ambala?
Meher: It was amazing Preet. You know our school...

The two childhood best friends kept talking and sharing their life incidents of the past years while the time kept passing away of a beautiful night in Melbourne.
