3RD anniversary of the Mandap scene,18th june 2008
For most June 18th is just like any other normal day but for us, Kis Desh fans, Premeer fans it is a day that holds a special place in our hearts. This is a day that made our palms sweat, our hearts raced, our bodies tingled with excitement, and our eyes gazing longing as Prem and Heer finally stood together and announced in front of everyone that they were Premeer.
This scene commences as Prem rejects to marry Ashelesha and because of which Daljeet out of anger drags Heer from her room and physically assaultsher in front of everyone as she thinks Heer is the reason for Prem's rejection to marry Ashelesha as Prem Loves Heer. Daljeet is insults and humiliates Heer in front of everyone and that time Prem gets angry and cannot tolerate his Love being insulted in front of everyone and bursts out in rage and confesses his love for Heer in the open to everyone.
Prem ka Junoon
Prem is not a Business tycoon, nor a faithful son, nor a loving brother, here he's only the Prem who loves Heer more than his life and we can see Prem's intense love for Heer, the Junoon for his love,who cannot see his love being tortured and insulted and to save his love ,he goes against his father and family and saves and protects Heer from Daljeet and the whole world from holding Heer with his arms daring the world to touch or harm Heer.He says " you are wrong if you think Heer is alone , I am with Heer forever and I stand between Heer and the world . I will protect and save Heer from all the evils and if you are hurting Heer you are hurting me in turn, If You are insulting her,its like you're insulting me, since Prem and Heer are one because Heer Prem ka prateek hai aur Prem sabhse zyaada Heer mein samyaa hai
The words he spoke so strongly and fervently that he would not tolerate such treatment any further casted a spell amongst all of us. We could see the fury, the passion, and the love he had for Heer in those incensed but precious words he spoke. He vowed to protect her, to care for her, and to stand by her side. He declared that he was just as much a part of her as she was a part of him. If anyone dare to speak ill of her or look at her with scorn he'd tear them a part. This uncontrollable fire from Prem was the result of all the events and circumstances to which he had to hide and play the game of keeping his duty and family honor. But like any human he was finally pushed to the breaking point and what we saw was the eruption of pure and undying love. He was ready to forsake everything to be with Heer.
Heer ka adhoorapan pura
Heer clung to him as if he was the only life line she had. And the truth was that he was. She trembled in his arms at the things that she had to endure because of her Aunt and Uncle. She cried because she had been hurt by her own family. She cried because she had pushed her love away and had refused to believe the truth of what Prem had said about Manmeet/Prashant. She cried because despite all of what she had done to him he was standing by her side and announcing that from this day forth she would be his responsibility. She cried because he loved her that much.
Prem's memorable monologue
"Baas chachi baas bahoot bhol chuki aap, Isse akhela maath samjhiye , aur yaha kada har insaan meri baath sunle aur dyaan se sunhe, aghar kisne bhi Heer ki tarf ankh utakar bhi dekha to mein unki ankhe phordhunga , phordhunga ankhe, yeh ladki mere aur mere parivaar ke beech mein kabhi nayi aayi to apne Isse saabh ke samne zaleel kaise kiya, kaise kiya zaleel, iske maa bauji nahi hai to iska matlabh yeh nahi hai ke iska koi nahi hai, Koi haath to lagake dikhayee, maar ke dikhaye, himmath hai to marke dikhayee ghaar dhungaa yaha par,aagar kisine ek shabdh bola to jawab mein dhunga, mein dhunga jawab, aaj ke baadh Heer aur zamane ke bheech mein khada hu, aghaar zamane ne Heer ko chune ki bhi koshish ki tu aag lagadhunga mein zamane mein, jala ke raakh kar dunga mein sab kuch'

Moohabhat judaa nahi hoti, Moohabhat fanna nahi hoti,
Duniyaa mein kitni hai Nafrateeinn, Phir bhi Dilo mein hai chaahtein,
Saadiyon se chelhi aah rahi duniyaan mein naftratein, aur saadiyyon takk zinda rahegi Dilo mein mohabhtain "
Maar bhi jaaye pyaarewale mit bhi jayee pyaarwale zindha rehti hai unki moohabhatain.
Yes, for fans of Kis Desh, Premeer fans all over the world this was a special day. It was special because Prem and Heer were no longer separate but where one in the same. This was the day Prem and Heer became Premeer not just in the serial but in our hearts forever.
An applaud for Harshad and Additi
As fans we were truly thankful for Harshad and Additi for being able to give us that wonderful and historic moment in the serial. Without them it wouldn't have been possible. They conveyed the emotions perfectly and stunningly that we were left speechless. So thank you Harshad and Additi for making June 18th such a special day for us. You truly brought a life and soul to Prem and Heer, our Premeer.
