Part 71

Sanjana after hearing Prem's reply to her call in the mall, came to conclusion that Prem doesn't have any attraction towards Heer. She thought they are only friends. Lisa and Nicky too felt the same and encouraged her to handle them with care. Lisa advised 'don't show any doubt in their relationship that may lead them to fall in love.' Nicky 'until you get married to Prem just maintain the friendly relationship with Heer. Don't pork too much between them.' Sanjana nodded.

Heer is so much happy. Prem is spending more time with him. He is fulfilling all her every request. He never ignores her. In front of her he several time ignored Sanjana's request to accompany her for shopping. This made Heer dream too much about Prem. Whenever they were alone, Heer stayed with him very close.

Even though Prem felt Heer's every movement odd, he didn't push her away. He feared that may disturb her again.

Their Birth day, Heer is pacing in the garden with confusion whether to tell her love to him. She felt Prem too love her now. she recollected all the lovely moments they spend together in London. the way he possesively stood next to her. She smiled thinking the kisses he placed on her cheeks.

Lost in her thought, she didn't sense Prem coming to her. He stood silently behind her. She turned and bumped on Prem. He smiled. She looked down tucking her hair behind ears. She managed to say 'when did you came Prem?' Prem 'just now.' she is thankful that he didn't see her talking to herself.

Prem put his around her neck. she put hers around his neck. He looked at his watch and started '5' Heer '4' Prem '3' Heer '2' Prem '1' both simultaneously 'Happy birthday.' She kissed his cheeks while he kissed her forehead. They hugged. Burrying her face into his chest she gathered strength to pour her heart out to him. She held his shirt tight. She took a deep breath inhaling his scent to get confidence. Prem felt some unknown feeling in his heart. Her hand sent signal that she is in some fear. he increased his hand around her. he placed a kiss on her head. kiss that give more strength to her now.

Heer lifted her face from his chest. She looked at his face. she is about to open he mouth. Prem 'one second.' he digged his pocket to pull out something. Heer waited anxiously. Prem 'close your eyes.' She closed her eyes. Prem put something around her neck. Heer opened her eyes and touched her neck. 'diamond' Prem shook his head 'how do you know? You didn't see that yet.' Heer confidently remembering the dream 'I know.' She hugged her. he gently pushed her away 'where is my gift?' Heer 'it is in the room.' Prem 'I want it now. come.' He turned. he stopped when she stopped him holding his wrist. Prem turned and looked at her with confusion.

Heer placed her palm on his chest. Prem covering her one palm which is in his chest and another around her waist pulled her closer with the expression 'what?' Heer moved her free palm to his face and caressing his cheek looked into his eyes. Prem noticed confusion and excitement in her eyes. He is quiet and waiting for her response.

Releasing her other palm from his hand moved it to cup his face. Prem wrapped his other hand also around her waist. 'today you are looking tensed. why?' Heer without wasting a second slightly raised her body up and pressed her lips on his. Sudden press over his lips gave shock to Prem. she tried to suck his lips but he refused to surrender to her.

He forcefully pulled her away and pushed her gently away. Stepping two steps back he shouted 'are you mad Heer? what are you doing? Are you in sense? From our child days we were close but we never crossed our limits. You know that I'm fixed for Sanjana. What is the meaning of this kiss Heer?'

Heer felt tears in her cheeks. She know that Prem will get shock but never thought he will think about Sanjana at this time. She looked down with tears coming out of her eyes like river. Prem placed his hand on her shoulders and demanded the answer 'Heer open your mouth and talk. Why are you behaving like this? I noticed change in your behaviour from the day you came to London.' he shook her. 'tell me Heer. open your mouth.'

Heer looking down opened her mouth. 'I love you Prem.' she said once and remained silent. As soon as Prem heard those words from her mouth, he stepped back in shock.

Prem clutched the swing tightly and looked down. He is confused 'why she is suddenly telling like this? I love her from the day I remember this world but I never thought her in this way. how can I love her when I'm fixed for someone else?' Nihal's statement came into his mind 'she won't be having same rights after you marry Sanjana.' His word flash in front 'no one can understand her more than you.' Prem felt pain when he remembered those words.

He decided 'I can lose anything for my Heer but I can't lose my Heer.'

Prem looked up. She is still standing looking down. Her body movements tell that she is crying silently. He got up from the swing and tip toe to her reconsidering his decision. When he stood before her, he is confident about his decision.

He placed his index finger under her chin and lifted her face to look into his. She closed her eyes fearing that he may say 'no'. tears continuosulay rolling down her cheeks. He cupped her face. he wiped her tears with his thumb. He leaned forward and neared her face. Their faces were very close. They can feel each others breath. he whispered 'I love you Heer.' Heer opened her eyes with jerk. Her eyes met his. With his eyes he answered 'its true that I love you.' Joy spread over her face. Her lips shivered in joy. Her eyes threw out more tears but this time its tears of joy.

Heer is about to say but he caught her lips and sucked lovingly. She forgot everything for a second and gave way for him. Her hands went around his neck. He wrapped his one hand around her neck and gave a comfortable position for her to rest her head. One hand caressing her cheek both went for a deep, passionate and loving kiss.

They broke when they needed air to for their love life. Heer giggled burrying her face into his chest. 'thanks Prem.' he hugged her 'I have to say thanks for making me understand love for you.' he kissed her forehead. She kissed his cheek 'I love you.' he kissed her cheek 'thanks for you birthday gift. Its precious than anything.' he leaned his forehead on hers. Both remain silent for a while.

They entered her room. he let her down. She sat on the bed and pulled him down next to him. 'Prem, you sleep here today.' Prem 'okay, done. Let me change first.' Heer nodded. Prem went to his room to change. Heer took out the gift she brought for Prem and waited for him to return.

Prem returned to Heer with a wide smile. He closed the door and fell next to her on the bed flat. She quickly snuggled into his chest. She handed a small gift pack to him. hugging her he opened the box. She carefully watched his expression. He is happy to see his favourite instrument inside the wrapper. He took out mouth organ out of the box. He is about to play. But Heer stopped him 'Mausi will get up and won't allow us to sleep together.' Prem 'she won't.' he played happy birthday for her. Heer kissed his cheek. Prem smiled and kept the instrument on the side table and pulled her into his hug. He switched off the light.

Only the moon light filling the room both kissed each other lovingly until they fell asleep.

Morning, Prem opened his eyes when his mobile rang. He stretched his hand to pick up the mobile. He kissed Heer who is still sleeping on his chest. Hugging her in his one hand he attended the call. On the other side all the family members started wishing him. Heer hearing his voice woke up. She moved up on him to rest her cheek on his. He kissed her for every wish.

Teji 'where is Heer? is she still sleeping.' Prem 'no ma. She is here with me.' he handed the phone. Teji is confused 'why Prem is calling me Ma.' Before she could understand Heer answered. Rest of the family members started wishing her. Heer kissed Prem cheek for every wish.

Disconnecting the line, Heer lazily cuddled into his arms. He gently stroked her hair. They remained quiet. Prem phone rang again. He looked at the name and put it in silence. Heer saw again Prem mobile vibrating. 'Prem your phone is ringing.' Prem looked at the name and kept it aside without attending the call.

Heer looked at him surprised 'Prem, who is that?' Prem 'Sanjana'. Heer 'may be she is calling you to wish.' Prem nuzzled his nose on hers 'I don't want to hear anymore wishes from her.' Heer lifted her head 'Prem, you have to tell her about us.' Prem sat up leaning on the board. Heer sat on his left leaned on her chest with her back resting her head on his right shoulder. Wrapping his hand around her.'no Heer, we should tell this first to our parents. After our project launch, we both go home and tell about our decision. Until then we'll keep this a secret to others.'

Heer got out of the bed. Prem went to his room and return with a shopping bag. 'Heer' Heer looked at the bag. Things which she refused to accept after that exhibition. Prem pulled Heer closer to him. He gave the bag into her hands 'I'm giving this to my wife.' He kissed her forehead. Heer got surprised. 'you didn't give this to.' Prem shook his head 'no. its yours always.' cupping her face he brushed his lips on her cheek 'to my wife Heer.' She kissed his cheek 'thanks Prem. I thought.' Prem covered her mouth 'don't want to talk about that anymore.' Heer nodded. Prem pulled out a green salwar from the bag 'you wear this and come down. Mausi will be waiting for us.'

After half an hour, Prem and Heer came down. Mausi is busy arranging for pooja. Prem and Heer together bent down and touched Mausi's feet. DJ is happy and smiled thinking something. She blessed them and kissed their forehead wishing 'happy birthday.' Mausi 'you both come here.' She walked ahead to the mandir. She asked them to do the arti together.

After the pooja, Mausi served them their favourite items. Prem took first spoonful of halwa and gave it to Heer. Heer fed him back. Dj watched the scene happily. Prem and Heer were busy teasing each other and eating. Mausi 'you both go outside and spend the day.' Prem got up wiping his hand 'no I have work. Just one week for our new project launch.' Heer followed him 'ha Mausi, its Prem's dream project.' Prem pulling her into hug 'thanks for understanding me.' Heer hit his stomach with her elbow whispered 'I can understand your every thought.' Prem kissed her forehead 'come we are late.' DJ happily watched them moving out of the house holding hands.
