Chapter 3:"Han. Hum apko ghar jaane ke baad batadenge" responded Balraj with a heavy heart, not knowing how he was supposed to tell his friend that his daughter was as stubborn as a mule, and refused to marry Prem. ******************
The ride home was loud and fun because of Preet, who ensured that everyone kept their mind off the problem that Balraj was speaking of earlier. However, the minute everyone stopped in front of the Juneja Mansion, a large palace like home in Mumbai, the silence drew in again. The family called to Ramu kaka, the trusted man who had been keeping the house organized for all this time, to take the luggage inside, while they all went into the living room to discuss this serious problem.
"Toh Balraj, kya baat hain?" questioned Lalit, after he saw that everyone was seated and comfortable. Balraj glanced at Teji, who nodded, a solemn look in her eyes, as he began "Woh kya hain…woh…woh Heer Prem se shaadi nahi karna chaati hain" he blurted quickly, not being able to look anyone in the eye, keeping his head bowed down to the floor.
The room became pindrop silent as everyone took in this new piece of information. Heer didn't want to marry Prem?
Finally, it was Prem that broke the prolonged silence. "Kyun? Woh koi reason bataya kya?" he questioned a serious look on his face. Lalit and Gayatri's face had an expression that was a mixture of shock and disappointment, the hope that they had kept alive in their hearts for so long died instantaneously.
Balraj played around with his fingers nervously, before he said "She thinks its unfair that we never let her know of this, and says she wants to take her own decisions. She's so stubborn and I don't know what to do at all."
At this, Preet jumped in, "So it's not like she has a boyfriend or something, right? That's not the reason she's denying?"
Balraj looked shocked at even the possibility of his daughter having a boyfriend. "Of course not, beta. That's not even something to consider."
Preet still looked unconvinced, until even Teji responded "I promise beta, she has no boyfriend. She just thinks that she wants to get married to someone of her choice."
Slowly, a smile began to form on Preet's face and everyone could just see the light bulb going off on top of his head. Harman and Prem, knowing their brother really well, could tell that he was cooking up some plan in that wonderful head of his. "Kya Preet? Kya idea hain?" they questioned, a smile on both of their faces.
Preet smiled, as he began "Mere paas to bahut hi perfect plan hain, in dono in dono ki shaadi karne ke liye."
Lalit and Gayatri smiled, as they said "So kya hain yeh perfect plan?"
"Heer bhabhi doesn't know what Prem bhaiya looks like, right?" he asked, to see Balraj and Teji shaking their head, no. "Toh kyun na hum Heer bhabhi ko yeh bataye ki hum teeno bhaiyon ne India nahi aaya, aur Prem bhaiya koi aur naam se inko mil sakti hain. So then, Heer bhabhi can get to know hamara PB and then she'll fall in love with him and they'll get married and live happily ever after!" he ended a bright smile on his face.
Everyone in the room looked at Preet as if he was crazy. Harman spoke "Preet, I always thought you were crazy, but your plan is brilliant!" he exclaimed.
Prem just looked at his two brothers, his eyebrows raised, before he questioned "So how are Heer and me even supposed to meet? Have you thought of that my dear brother?"
Preet took a moment to answer that question, as he placed a finger on his chin, tapping it, his face scrunched up in thinking mode, before he replied "Heer bhabhi has two sisters, na? I forgot their names, but they'll bring her wherever. We'll just have to involve them in the plan, kyun Balraj uncle?"
Balraj, who hadn't said a word up until now, suddenly had a wide grin on his face. He looked over to see that Lalit and Gayatri and Teji were also smiling. Balraj then happily stated "Han. You three should meet Meher and Ashlesha. I'm sure they'll help you out and they're so eager to see their Prem jiju anyways!"
Lalit finally opened his mouth to say something. "So it's all settled then! Balraj. Gayatri and me are going to come stay at your house. We are eagerly waiting to see our bahu, but we have to make sure that she doesn't know that Prem, Preet, and Harman are in India. And tomorrow, you can get Meher and Ashlesha to come here and talk to these three and the kids will decide and plan everything. Kyun?"
Turning to his sons, Lalit continued "So Harman and Preet, I'm handing over the responsibility to you guys to make your brother and your bhabhi get together. Don't take too long though, I want my bahu soon!" he ended, a large smile on his face.
Balraj and Teji were elated that the Juneja family, instead of being angry and throwing them out, had helped them find a solution to their problem. Their daughter couldn't have found a better family.
So soon after, Balraj, Teji, Lalit and Gayatri left to Ludhiana, where Heer and her two sisters were waiting their arrival.

Last part. i promise. So because Heer isn't supposed to know that Prem, Preet, and Harman are here, they need different names...and I need help :) I think for Prem I want to use Harshad, and I have no idea for Preet and Harman....anyone have any ideas for names...for any of the three? do respond to let me know...and then we'll poll or decide somehow....
