Without wasting a fraction of a second, Balraj and Lalit both engulfed each other into a tight hug. Tears of joy flowing out of their eyes like fountain erupting up water. As the friends released themselves from the hug, they both greeted each other.

"Beti ki shaadi bahot bahot mubarak ho Ballu." Lalit greeted his friend.

Balraj could only flash his smile.

"Tune toh kaha tha ke tu nahi aa sakta tha? Phir yaha kaise?" Balraj was still alarmed to see his friends in front of him.

"Arre? Kya Kulraj sirf teri beti hai? Meri kuch nahi lagti kya?" Lalit asked him playfully.

"Nahi nahi yaar. Baas, agar mujhe pata hota toh mai-" Balraj was cut off by Lalit.

"Aggar tujhe pata hota toh tu apni beti ki shaadi se zyada humare liye intezaam karta. Issliye Prem ne mujhe kaha ke hum tumhe surprise dete hai. Bol kaisa laga surprise?" Lalit grinned.

"Bahot hi badiya!" Balraj answered with a flashing smile. They both fell into a hug once again.

After a few minutes, he noticed Balwant, Gayatri and Preet( only about fifteen years old) standing by the door and smiling at them.

"Kaise ho Balraj?" Balwant asked with a smile. Balraj composed his happiness and folded his hands in front of him.

"Namaste bhaisaab. Kaise hai aap?" Balraj asked politely.

"Mai bilcul theek hu. Tum kaise ho? Aur bacche kaise hai?" Balwant asked eagerly. He was pretty close to the girls.

"Sab theek hai bhaisaab. Aap aaye naa." Balraj moved aside and both Lalit and Balwant headed towards Kulraj to congratulate her.

"Wah ji wah? Dost kya mil gaya, mera bhai toh mujhe bhol hi gaya. Kyu bhaisaab?" Gayatri question with a grin. Balraj flashed her a knowing smile and embraced the lady who he considered as his own sister if not more.

"Gayatri woh-" Balraj started to asked but Gayatri interrupted him.

"Woh rat take pooch taiga. Woh kya haina, uski koi exam thi issiliye thoda late pochega." Gayatri answered him.

"Koi baat nahi. Aaj raat ko Maata ka Jagrata rakha hai saab ne. Uska besabri se intezaar karunga. Akhir mera sabse accha dost joh hai." Balraj winked at Gayatri and both fell into a laugh.

Balraj glanced back at Preet who was busying playing a game on his phone.

"Arre Preet? Kitna bada hogaya hai naa Gayatri." Preet heard Balraj and gave him a smile. He remembered what his brother and told him to do and he did just that.

Preet bent down and respectfully took Balraj's blessings.

"Namaste uncle." Preet greeted Balraj with a polite smile.

Balraj patted his head and smiled.

"Namaste beta." Balraj replied.

The rest of them joined Lalit and Balwant and they all congratulated Kulraj and blessed her.

By now, Gayatri had gotten everyone to their feet. Balwant and Lalit had taken over all of Balraj's jobs. Lalit had strictly told Balraj to not worry about any preparations for the wedding.

"Tu apni Kulraj ke paas beth aur uske saath kuch waqt bitaa. Mai sab kuch sambhal lunga." Lalit made Balraj sit next to Kulraj had headed off to finish the left tasks.

Balwant and Lalit got engrossed in decorating the rest of the farmhouse. Gayatri got busy with handling the kitchen and prepared for the jagrata that was to be held for tonight.

But since the moment she came here, she had wanted to see her face. Where was her Heer?

She decided to ask Bajraj herself. She left her task for a few minutes and went to ask Balraj. She spot him sitting next to Kulraj and smiling.

"Bhaisaab, woh Heer aur Meher nahi dikhayi de rahe? Kaha hai woh dono?" Gayatri asked with a smile.

"Chachi, woh dono toh apni saheliyaa ke ghar gayi hai. Woh saab dance ki practice karne gayi hai, sangeet ke liye." Kulraj answered an anxious Gayatri with a smile.

Gayatri was disappointed that she didn't get to meet her Heer, but she didn't show her disappointment on her face.

"Koi baat nahi. Waise kehte hai naa, sabar ka phal meetha hota hai. Mai apni bacchi ko inte saalo tak nahi mili. Kuch dair aur hi sahi. Aakir ek na ek din woh mera ghar anne hi wali hai hamesha ke liye. Mere Prem ki banker." Gayatri assured herself in her mind.

"Theek hai. Mai usse baad me mil lungi." Gayatri smiled at both Balraj and Kulraj and headed back to work.

Precap:

"Hurry up Jelly-belly. I don't have all day here. And do I really have to do this." Heer whined. From the minute she came here, she was tried of listening to the song battle that was going on between the four people in front of her.

awesome....for some reason i thought balwant gonna have some ego issue..bt hes nice...seems like all of them are really close to one another...cant wait to see wat happens next update soon and thanks for da pm...
