Sanjana, Maya, and Shabnam were Heer's best friends since their college started. Her three friends were complete opposite of Heer. They were loud, vivacious, and always at Heer's side for help. They could do anything thing for Heer and Meher. Because of all the love and care that they gave her, Heer found another three sisters in them. Even though that all came from rich families, they never belittled her.
Maya Sharma was the daughter of a rich business tycoon who lived in U.K. Even though Sanjana was his only daughter, Mr. Sharma barely paid any attention to his daughter. He was barely in India to spend some time with her. Sanjana's mother had died when she was five. She had no other siblings or relative that she was close to. When she came to India to do some course for the Medical Practice, she came across Heer, Maya, and Shabnam. Since then, she considers them as her sisters.
Sanjana Mehta comes from a rich Gujrati family. She lived happily with her elder brother Rohan. After the death of their parents in a car crash, Rohan worked hard and achieved new heights in his business. Even though he was three years older than Sanjana, Rohan always treated Sanjana with utmost care as if she was his child. When Sanjana became friends with Heer, Maya, and Shabnam, he found three more responsibilities and sisters that he has to take care off.
Shabnam Khan comes from a conservative Muslim family that has certain restriction set for their daughters. She had a younger brother who always helped her in all her problems. Along with her brother, she had an understanding mother who got her daughter whatever she wanted. When Shabnam wanted to attend the Medical Institute in Shimla, there was strong opposition that came from her father. But her mother somehow convinced her father. Her father set up a lavish villa for Shabnam in Shimla and since then, the villa has been the hang out place for the girls.
The Medical Institute was where all four had met each other. They were all nearly sixteen when they joined the institute as volunteers and future students. From age 16 to age 20, the depth of their friendship has only doubled.

For the past half an hour, they were sitting in the living room in Shabnam's villa. All five of them were crunched onto a separate recliner chair while passing around a list of dance-able songs.
They were throwing songs left and right, some of which she was shocked to having referred to. But lastly, Meher's song caught her attention.
"Didi, I think you should dance on Prem ki Deewani'" Meher said as she bit into a chip. Heer's eyes shot up straight at her. She gave Meher and hard glare. Meher knew that this glare was expected.
"Haan Heer. Kulraj Di ko woh movie bahot pasand hai. Tum wahi song karogi!" Declared Sanjana.
"NO!" Heer yelled and sprang up to her feet.
"Why?" Shabnam got up and asked her.
"Mujhe lagta hai ke woh song bilkul suit karta hai tumhe. Saab se zyada tum hi toh pyaar mai vishwas karti ho." Maya said as she stood in front of Heer.
"Lekin-" Heer tried to protest but there was no use.
"Lekin vekin kuch nahi! You're doing that song!" The girls declared. Meher and told them earlier about this song choice as being perfect for Heer. So Maya, Sanjana, and Shabnam had agreed to it.
The next hour or so, the girls helped Heer prepare for her dance. But each time Heer heard the song, she felt like she was drifting back to her memories with the guy that had stolen her heart, forever.
"Hurry up Jelly-belly. I don't have all day here. And do I really have to do this." Heer whined. From the minute she came here, she was tired of listening to the song battle that was going on between the four people in front of her. And now this! Enough was enough.

His plane had landed just minutes ago. After collecting his luggage, he sat into a taxi and headed towards his best friend's house.
After an hour or so, the taxi stopped in front of a beautiful farmhouse decorated with bright lights and colorful drapery. After paying the taxi driver, he headed towards the entrance with his luggage.

Balraj, Balwant, and Lalit were sitting peacefully in the hall as the jagran was about to start. The hall was actually a vast living room of the farmhouse. But Gayatri and Lalit had transformed it into a hall-like structure which could win over a perfect hall anytime.
Gayatri was still a little disappointed because she missed the chance to see her Heer and Meher when she returned home. She had been busying in setting up the prasad for the jagran when both girls had returned home. As Gayatri sat besides Lalit, her eyes were glued to the stairs. Heer was in her room getting ready for the jagran. Just a glimpse is what she needed to satisfy her impatience.
Just then, Balraj's cell phone rang. Balraj excused himself from his friends and went aside to attend the call.
"Hello?" Balraj spoke.
"Mai aa gaya." Declared a familiar voice.
Balraj's heart danced in joy upon hearing her voice.
"Kaha hai tu? Kab se intezaar kar raha hu." Balraj spoke his heart out. And that's when he felt warm fingers touching his feet. Balraj shot his eyes down and his heart melted.
There he was, the boy that he considered as his son. His best friend, his Prem.
He slowly made him stand up. To his surprise, his friend was much taller than he was. But the same eyes, the same nose, and the same innocence that his face reflected when he was little.
And with much delay, Prem embraced Balraj. As they pulled apart, Balraj took a god, long look at her.
"Kitna bada hogaya re tu. Lekin ab bhi utna hi pyara lagta hai." Balraj had a proud smile plastered on her face.
"Lekin aap bilcul waise ke waise hi hai. Fit and handsome." Prem gave him an admiring grin.
"Kaise hai aap Uncle Raj?" Prem asked affectionately.
"Jaise tune kaha, ekdum fit and handsome." Balraj answered. Both broke into a quick laugh while Balwant, Lalit and Gayatri enjoyed their interaction from where they were sitting.
"Beta tu thak gaya hoga. Ja kar thoda fresh hoja. Upar jaa ke dosra kamra khali hi hoga." Balraj offered Prem. Balraj was unknown to the fact that the room that he had offered to Prem was occupied by someone already.
