big thing: is always a misery when they start an episode with the glob. what makes me really hurt is when she is talking about prem and/or heer and you know you have to listen, no matter how nasty she is being. except one thing that caught my attention. she is hoping that heer ''misunderstands'' prem once again?? er... what's that??! if prem himself thought that he hadsexwithashlesha that night, what was the ''misunderstanding'' that heer had about prem? i mean, it was the truth according to him, no?
this could mean two things: either ashlesha had planned the wholesexwithprem bit along with glob! 😡 so glob knew that prem's and heer's hearts were being torn apart on a lie all along. or... the creative forgot that noone else except ashlesha was supposed to know what she had done. *sigh* anyone wants to bet which one might be the truth on the show?
little thing: argh! it's fake shiv mandir again! argh! heer! why do you accept the way of normal human beings, and accept what ever weird shiv mandir they tell you to go to? you are the one who is fleet of foot -- run, heer, run! run to your real shiv mandir! please, heer? 😃
heer thing: after days of patiently waiting through all the heer presentation of pushing prem away, for the first time today, i admit she came close to confusing me. in very many ways, in vast number of things.
- first heer has had her eyes opened to .. what exactly?? that she was pointlessly pushing prem away? that prem still had great love for her? but... she has been seeing that all along right? why else did she think that prem was ''trying to come close to me'' all this while if he didn't ... er ... love her?
- second -- so heer has ''hamesha tumey nafrat ki'' prem?? er...heer hate prem? always??! in which bloomin' universe? i thought she herself had admitted that she still loved him, still cared about him in that second prem-heer meeting in her house when prem came back all the way from can-atta and got drenched in the rain. heer's feelings have always come across as an immense anger -- never hatred. as in the ramayan, sita never hated ram. she was just fiercely angry with him. 😕 seriously! this one word from heer about prem reminded me of the day that gaurav-mother told prem that he didn't have a hole (well, at least in his heart.. 😆) and he ... just stood there. 😕
- third -- what??? did heer know all along where prem was all these six years, or no?
- fourth -- er.. she says she hadn't forgiven him, when even god forgives a mistake once. um. ya. okay. so, what's new?? hasn't this been already told her several times?
- fifth -- oooo..'kay! so her eyes are opened all 'cause of ... gi-it! *sigh* so why does she suddenly feel so much remorse about the prem-phukda angle??? *sigh* there was just tooo much ... stuff stuffed into this moment, and not enough time given to anything! *sigh* why does it feel like some major obligation-burden-to-payback-gi-it is coming up rsn?? *sigh* why does it feel like they're rushing to something just now?? 😕
and y'know what? they suddenly made me remember i needed to add s'thing to soaps ''bring 'em back andolan'' post?? heer's pearl-hoop earrings!!! i sooooo love them. and love them on her still.
big thing: *sigh* the script-writers in place today are such idea-sucking leeches on old scripts.
first time after the tls** they take that byoootiful ''aaj mein prem juneja'' and completely trash it by having prem use those lines when he goes to heer and ''gives her away'' indeed! the garbage chewing scriptwriters!! 😡and now? they take those byootiful lines for heer! this time, it was still fake!
but i did think it was a .. more tolerable application. one thing that made it so was that it was proof that even though young mr. prem juneja had said those fantabulous lines in his mind and heart and soul, his eyes had actually spoken those lines aloud to heer's ... and she had heard them perfectly in her heart! 😍 😆
it was also tolerable 'cause just like the first time, when it came as prem's re-statement of his committment to heer after having kept secrets from her, this time it was heer's re-statement of her committment to prem after having kept secrets from him. so 'specially liked that she said ''mein qubool karti hoon ki...'' that was really nice -- recommittment with a really nice difference from the first time.
and i actually loved her list of ''saakshi mangkay'' things. ''yeh mandir. tumharey yaadey. tumharey vaadey. apni chahat. uss bhagwan. uss bhagwan ki diyi hui vardaan.'' isn't it lovely how in that list, there is god and... prem? 😍😍😍 *i don't count phukda 'cause she is prem-heer-ka-tukda. and that is ... prem. 😆*
but it was soo not what it could've been! 'cause there were rotten things 'bout it too.
the first rotten thing about this one was that prem was not there to hear it, damnit! what is the point if he can't -- either directly or through the language of prem-heer eyes??! and of course, the second was the fact that heer said it was her hatred that was destroyed. and that almost totally killed the potential beauty of that confession of heer's to her god.
man! why must they abuse things that were infinitely beautiful in their show before like this??? how can they butcher their own show?? 😲 it sooo irked the heck out of me. why the heck are these blood-sucking garbage feeding scriptwriters so lazy that they can't come up with something new?? are they really not being paid at all after this show went to the afternoon slot?? 😕
ag as heer thing: y'know? i've always said that just like hc always gets prem right, ag always gets heer right. and even when there have been times, that hc has played prem like he is sleep walking through it (those days when prem kept telling heer that he was going back to the gaurav-sharma mom) or when he was hip-hopping (😆 man, hc was sooo confused then! poor guy...!! 😆), ag has never got heer wrong.
today, for the first time, i think i saw ag play heer off-center. no, not in how she played heer when she was being all contrite and self-flagellatory and self-admonishing in her confession to her god.
but in her voice. in the past, whenever heer has ''spoken'' to her god, whether in accusation, or in sorrow, or in anger, she has always been ... quieter than she was today. somehow, in one part of the heer-speech, i was taken aback in how fierce she was in speaking to her god.
or .. maybe that is how it should be. maybe people who are religious do believe they can be so honest to their gods so as not to hide any emotion?
whatever it was: i was taken aback. heer at shiv mandir has always had some of the best lines ever on this show. and today, it was not spectacular. not getting spectacular was a let down.
little thing: y'know? whatever it is that i feel about glob lawyer, this must be said for him -- that his reactions to whatever glob says is hilarious!! 🤣
seriously, didn't anyone else burst into laughter at the look on glob lawyer's face when glob asked him what would happen if heer found out that it was her not prem who opened the custody case... 🤣🤣
little thing: eeks. maya is still as sleazy as ever. she has no qualms sending meher to find out what glob and glob-lawyer are discussng.
bigger little thing: and meher has no brain to not go! i mean, why in the heck didn't meher just pause a moment and ask ''hey, wait a minute! glob hates me and will snarl if i get them water. why don't you take them water instead, maya? please??!'' but she didn't. *sigh*
ewww thing: glob screeching to glob lawyer that heer never leaves a single opportunity to run after prem.
er.. glob? news flash. er... the entire world wouldn't leave a single opportunity to run after prem. 🤣 is just that prem appears to prefer heer... 😆
stooopid script thing: argh! what was the point of that little heer buying gajra in the windy side-street segment? what??! i mean, other than blow 2 minutes in the show?? seriously! 😛
but i must say. heer thinking about ''chahat-ki-papa'' made me giggle loudly in a very silly way. *don't worry, i hit myself on the upside of my head quickly for that! 😆* and the way she called out to the gajrey-wali aunty and asking for two gajra was sweet.
little thing: now maya calls glob ''black & white''??! 🤣 why, why, 🤣why??? whatever the reason, it sounded ... funny!
little thing: omg! we get it, we get it! there are more expressionless people on earth to play harman than mc! actually, i've always liked mc as harman.. 😆 please, please, please -- mel says she will be sorry she was mean if you will bring him back. *er, right, mel??🤣 * or if you can't get mc back, please write harman out of the story, please?? 🤣
i mean, seriously! maya was right -- here she is squacking and shrieking for him to take a look, and he just stands there and dopily asks her what is happening. of course, maya could've told him. but then that would be soooo logical and would leave my hair intact on my head, no? and the creatives would be soooo unhappy if that were true.. 🤣
little thing: is gi-it still planning on marrying prem or not? i want to know..
it made me sad to think that heer actually came to gi-it's room thinking that if she couldn't find prem anywhere else, she would find him in gi-it's room?
big thing: 'cause the way gi-it described how prem left her -- without having the courage to look her in the eye -- doesn't it feel like prem might be thinking he hashadsexwithgi-it??!! argh!!! oh, i hope not! i soooo badly hope not! not again!!!
someone please enroll him quickly in some sex-education class where prem can be taught what is and what is not possible under the influence of drink... pleaaaaaaaase!
little thing: er... is it important that heer had left the room before gi-it had finished speaking?
i mean, i liked the implication -- once she is back into not-obsessing-about-keeping-prem-away from her, she is totally back into getting-prem-back-to-her! (phew! thank goodness! i was sooooo missing that heer! 😍 🤣). gi-it could be telling her that she was dying of third stage leukemia and still heer wouldn't have heard. after all, that would have nothing to do with prem, na? 😆
but still -- should she have heard gi-it out? would it help her to understand anything that prem maybe planning on doing next?
big thing: heer runs off to pack her bags for delhi -- why?? oh, not so that she can prepare for phukda's custody case! she is going back to get prem! i burst out laughing. i soooo love heer's priorities in life. 🤣 and if i think about it, it's the right thing to do. once she gets prem back, getting to keep phukda is soooo obvious, it's not even an argument anymore, no??
man! what i love about this is that, for the first time, we are going to get to see prem in a situation between heer and his mother where he is soooooo gonna have to ... not choose his mother! prem is going to have to redefine who his god is...
i can seriously fiercely hardly wait to see how prem's gonna do this! *fiercely waiting muh*
little thing: this is not even his own hotel, and he still gets to sneak into heer's room and leave stuff for her -- in her cupboard no less!! 😆
little thing: argh! why? why, why, why? are they now stuffing this show with lots and lots of prem-heer-kay-liye-pyar-kay-nishani's??! why? phukda is enough damnit! 🤣 or if you want more nishanis, can phukda get a brother(s)/sister(s) please? er.. soon? 😃
phhandooh thing: in a phlashback, tho sahi. that was a total phhandoooooooh! with prem looking down at heer's hand!! 😍
(source: dimple at http://www.india-forums.com/forum_posts.asp?TID=1194342&TPN=73)
*prem thing: but seriously, made me think: how many pyar-ka-nishani's does prem travel around with??? 😆 i mean, one of the things that made me splutter with laughter in that scene when prem comes into heer-soni's room to leave the payal was that, on a trip where he had come to collect ganga-jal for pbauji, he had heer's payal with him! i mean! how absurd can that be?
and now, on this trip to ludhiana where he was soooo not expecting to meet heer, he had one of her bangles with him???
seriously, i want to know the size of the luggage that he carries with him. does he have all of heer's stuff with him? like, all the time??! 🤣
prem voice thing: *sigh* how much do i love heer getting prem's letters? we get to hear prem's voice. and that too saying ''heer'' lots.
prem, it's a letter. you won't even be there to see her reaction. go ahead and say ''meri heer'' darnit! 😍
😆
but y'know what really made me go 😍 about the letter? everything heer had told him the previous day had apparently ''broken'' him. he was no longer the same prem, 'cause she was no longer the same heer, and all that jazz?
and yet, today, everything's back to normal. he calls her ''meri heer''. *yes, he did! stubborn muh* he is back to doing whatever she says will make her most happy -- him staying away and she keeping phukda with her. and to ensure all this, he will go -- nay! flee! 😆 -- to delhi to find out who is the evil behind the custody case.
hmm. prem.. love saying things-that-you-will-absolutely-not-stick-with much? 😆
little thing: i had a vague sense of foreboding when he talked about not caring if he's not with her, as long as she has a part of him with her. why does that sound like a future without prem for heer coming up? 😛
highlight of the episode: no shaq -- the phhandooh-pheyeooh-phug! even though it had no other reason for existing other than to make me happy. personally, i also liked how heer said that ''aaj mein heer juneja...'' *loved how she says that soooo easily... as if there has never been any other name for heer juneja... 😍* and young mrs. juneja's list of saakshi-mangney things -- which were basically, god and prem...😍 soooo much more simple and straight that young mr. juneja long and complicated list which included his darned parents!! 😆
*sigh* w&w-ing. until one day they really get my head to explode with more poopy shiv-mandir and heer saying that she hated prem.
