I just called up to number that shanta gave of finali .She was not at the seat.One lady picked up and she asked me from where you are calling ?i said mumbai and just told her that we fans of Kis desh does not want the show to move in afternoon and we are not ahppy with SP the way they treat audience.She said finali is not at her seat and i will pass on the message.Then she said we only take messages through emails and feedbacks...Then she put the phone down...

we are at desperate measures now, guys when u call, tell them how much we already mailed, and how we are being treated on the phone tooo

and someone call balaji and complain as well!! IM PIST OFF AT BALAJI TOO!!! why are they acting so indifferent! I HATE U BT AND SP!!

@ Sidd: there is nothing much Balaji can do. The channel has an upperhand in deciding all the timings. The producer just gives the content and has to make sure the TRPs are coming. They don't have the rights over the show. The show and the content belongs to the respective channel. That is how it works. so EK can't even move this show to some other channel because she'll be sued by SP. I don't think she can end it either because of contractual obligation. so you can't blame them.

she was extremely nice to me, stated the fact that many are emailing her. She appreciates all the overwhelming response that they has been getting and support for channel. She spoke to me about 12 mins.
1. She asked me, what do I think is the reason for the popularity: I told her that this show is very special because of the wonderful concept, music, script and Most importantly because of the amazing Cast of the show. Basically we love everything about it.

2. She needed some statistics like how many FC are there. I told her that I am proud member of IF but that is not all. I told how many people are there on IF, Harshad-Aditi have many different FC. Sent links to some like indya.com and Fcs on FB. She mentioned that she had no remote idea that these leads are so famous. I also told her how SP uses them to promote the channel.

2. Show has 3rd top TRP, in spite of not having a single promo in last one month and no proper promotions for last 7-8 months. They do throw one promo (heer running down) once in a while, but that promo is demoting show as it gives the impression the story is stuck on dead track. I also mentioned how other low TRP shows are not getting touched and why us?

4. Then she asked what do I think is the reason: Only reason I know for the fact that SP has a problem with Production house. There can't be anything in the show, because show simply rocks.

5. If they moved the show to afternoon, it will die down as it is not catered to the home makers, is an youngsters show it has to stay in the prime time.

6. I did thank her whole heartedly that she valued our effort and feedback. I also shared how SP employees including PR are rude to the callers. They may need some training as for as handling the customers and making strategic decisions (that she seem to take it very seriously as she made notes). I told her that we share the our experiences about the SP responses in the FC/Forums, she was amazed about how organized we all are 😆

7. I talked about boring repeats on Saturday. Also mentioned that many of us would remove SP from cables in case they take decision to move it to afternoon. Actually I loved her repose to this, she was like kindly don't take any such drastic decisions and she said she will talk to other SP executives about it. Big thanks to all the viewers of SP.
