"Aur Pyaar", saying so he blushes....

Before any of them could say anything, they heard the honking of cars'...

"Um....lagta hai sub waapis aa gaye....humein neeche chalna chahiye.....", said Meher..

"Kya timing hai!!!", Preet muttered to himself....

"Kuchh kaha tumne??", she asked....

"Nahi chalo chalte hai"

That night Meher lay sleeplessly on her bed....

'Preet Ashlesha se bahut pyaar karta hai.....Pata nahi main in dono ke beech mein kaha se aa gayi.....Mujhe ab kuchh bhi karke in dono ko milwana hi hoga'.Maa sahi kehti hai...Preet ne bahut seh liya', she thought to herself...

Next Morning....

"Meher....Meher", Preet yelled from his room

"Kahaan chali gayi yeh......Meherrrrrr", he tried calling again

"Pata nahi subah se kaha hai.....Ab meri tie kaun bandhega....vaisi hi aaj main late ho raha hun", he kept blabbering to himself...

"Main help kardun", a voice said behind him making him turn around in shock....

"Ash tum'.tum yahaan kya kar rahi ho??"

"Voh mujhe Harman se aaj ki meeting ke bare mein kuchh discuss karna tha..voh Meher ghar pe nahi hai....jab main aayi toh voh aur aunty mandir ke liye nikal rahe the"

"Oh thanks"

"Um main tie baandh dun?"

"No thanks I'll manage!"

"Preet...koi problem nahi hai'main kar deti hun", she said taking a step forward towards him....

"Maine kaha naa...I'll manage....Mujhe late ho raha hai main nikalta hun", saying so he left the room

Meher sighed disappointedly, witnessing the entire episode from the opposite room....This was getting way more difficult than she expected...

'Aise toh yeh dono kabhi kareeb nahi aa payenge', she thought

She went to Ashlesha, who looked extremely dejected....Keeping a hand on her shoulder she said.."Tum tension mat lo'mere paas ek aur plan hai"

Later in the afternoon.....Preet's cabin...

Someone knocked the door...

"Come in", he said...

"Uh-hi", Ashlesha said hesitantly.....

"Hi Ash....umm kuchh kaam tha??"

"Voh actually subah tum apna Tiffin bhul gaye...toh aate waqt Meher ne mujhe..."

"Oh haan....subah jaldi jaldi mein main bhul hi gaya.....Upar se Meher bhi ghar pe nahi thi remind karne ke liye....Thanks", he smiled at her...

"Voh Preet mujhe bahut bhook lagi hai.....Kya hum aaj saath mein lunch karein?", she looked at him hopefully...

"Umm..Ash voh.."

"Please Preet....hum friends toh haina.....atleast friendship ke khatir"

"Fine" , he said

They ate in an wakward silence....Preet gobbled down the food quickly....he wanted to get over with it as soon as possible

"Uhh....Ash...I'm sorry mujhe bahut kaam hai...Please excuse me", he said

"Ya sure", Ashlesha smiled at him reassuringly..........
