Silently they had their food…No words were being spoken but their eyes conveyed a lot of emotions….

After the meal Preet helped her clear the table…..While Meher washed the utensils he made coffee for both of them…..The weather was really pleasant so they decided to take it to the terrace….They sat on the swing facing each other….After a few minutrs of silence…Preet said….

"Um Meher"

"Hmmm"

"Jaanti ho jab hum Canada mein the na…toh meri life bilkul alag thi…..Parties…..friends…..ghumna-firna….paise udaana…mujhe lagta tha ke yehi life hai….isi mein asli mazaa hai…..office jaana toh dur…..kabhi breakfast ke liye bhi nahi uth pata tha…..", saying so he chuckles….Meher smiled at him knowingly….

"Maine life ko kabhi seriously nahi liya…Sochta tha ke mujhe kuchh bhi karne ki kia zaroorat hai……", he paused….Then continued…"Rishten…Pyar….Shaadi….mein bilkul believe nahi karta tha…Infact mujhe samajh nahi aata tha ke log apni puri zindagi kisi ek insaan ke saath kaise bitaa sakte hain"

"And look at me today…..Maine har voh cheez kari hai jiske bare mein main sochne se bhi darta tha…..Time pe uth ta hun.."…Then seeing the not-so-convinced expression on Meher's face said…"Okay try karta hun time pe uthna ki......Office jaata hun…..Meri yani The-Preet-Juneja ki shaadi ho chuki hai….aur pyar………."
