Are the Creatives really to Blame???

Hey guys!

I was just wondering, are the creatives really the only ones to be blamed for the falling TRPs??? I mean yes to an extent probably they could do much better still but still they are just trying to form a story to get the viewers interested and keep thinking ( Episode discussions thread gives a lot of proof for that).....

As for me I think the whole thing is all because of Starplus and its changing attitude towards BT serials (no offence to anybody)... But if anybody has noticed there is no promotion for any BT serial be it Kis desh, Tujh sang or any other serial for that matter. Its all about Biddai and Yeh rishta, Aap ki kacheri.... Practically if there is no promotion how can they expect viewers to get intrested??

i agree with you there is hardly any promo. if new viewers will not see how they will gather new audience. and even old are too going

how can we get TRP to be increased? Can any1 email to Starplus on their biased toward this 2 shows.. how successful if the story goes if no promotion and repeat program, how will the show ever have increased in TRP.

Frankly speaking the story of Biddai is getting very boring but still their TRP is always high.

I agreeb with u esha! Biddai was gud before but these days it has become irritating and there is nothing to look forward to... But kisdesh atleast we are (or atleast I am) looking forward to see whether he is prem or not, hw will gaurav fall in love with heer...and yet no promotion

Apart from that Bidaai and Yeh rishta get a 3 repeat telecast (that also as far as i know) where as kis desh gets just one... How do they expect the TRps to rise??? Even in the tonite section its 9-11 shows which are mentioned... Cant they for sake of it show an 8-11 section??

For me Kis desh is still intresting as long as Harshad and Additi are a part of it. As long as i get to watch them and cute scenes its more intresting than any of the scenes shown in any serial.

I agree with you anupama Star is very biased I have stopped watching Bidaai myself because like you said it is very boing at least for me anyway there is hardly anything to look forward to in the show. Bidai's lead couples can't create the magic like Harshiti. I personally think Ragni Ranveer no matter how many romantic moments are given to them the spark isn't there. I mean for example like yesterdays precap when they show Heer putting that thing (sos I don't know what you call it) on Prem I('ll say prem cuz I strongly believe he is Prem) the just lights up the screen omg even the way those to look at each other that just creates magic and gives us goosebumps. Ranveer Ragni all the dialouges and scenes can't create that sort magic not for me anyway.

yes anupama i have also screamed , shouted at SP in so many threads.I even wrote in indya.com official site criticising SP but what they did they removed my comment twice .I still wrote third time also.They are just biased with Bidai and yeh rista...so much so that SP people are just addicted to rajan sahi the way we are addicted to HC and AG.I think SP ARE IN LOVE WITH RAJAN SHAI Kyonki unhe koi mila nahi na.I am really pissed of .I am just boycotting all shows in SP except KDMHMD and TSPLS.

By the way quality of KDMHMD is much much better than Bidai and yeh...They just show marriage , Honey moon and leads are alway chipku chipku with each other .They are to fill with romance but NO CHEMISTRY is there .Rather in KDMHMD the leads are mostly apart still they are able to fire .KDMHMD is always unpredictable.We don't know what they will show next so that creates lots of interest and we indulge our self in predictions and criticism but we enjoy and love doing it.even if they are not promoting the show we still know its far far better than any other show.The more they don't promote more we are hating the other shows beacuse of their biasedness.

I agree...I would not say that we should not blame the creatives ut yes Star should be blamed to..its undoubtebly biased..

yupp..agreed...sp is really biased towars these shows........

god knows why...........

i mean i've written this thing at so many places but i guess everything has fallen to deaf ears.......

the only conclusion which i draw from this attitude of star is that they are neglecting bt shows.......fine...if they want to do it....i guess its high time they have a face to face talk with bt people and let the bt telecast this show on some other channel.......i'm sure all the other channles will leap and take this show to cash on the chemistry of harshiti........

at times i even wonder what is wrong with ekta!!!!!...doesn't she have a say when the question of promoting her show arises

Look the story has to hold, the screenplay HAS to be interesting first and foremast. Promotion can only bring in the audiences to take a peek, and see what these shows are all about. Think about the film industry....they go head over heels and promote the films before release, but if the story isn't good, if direction is bad, after the first weekend revenue falls, because people were caught of up in the initial hype but the real product showed through. Same with this show and other shows in Star Plus. Promotion won't do much help in getting steady group of audiences until the story, and direction are interesting.

And you said that because STAR isn't promoting Kis Desh nowadays it's not doing well, but I think Kis Desh isn't doing well that's why they aren't promoting and wasting their money.
