After Chandu told Heer his plan, she stood there, contemplating on where or not she should go through with it while Chandni and Kaki's words rang through her ears. After a while she sighed. "I can't do it Chandu. Whatever happened yesterday was sort of my fault and I have to apologize instead of making things worse."

"Chandni and Kaki already talked to you didn't they?" Chandu asked knowingly. Normally nothing would stop Heer from pulling a prank, especially a prank such as the one Chandu had in mind.

Heer quietly nodded. "Sorry Jiju" she smiled cutely

Chandu sighed. "Koi baat nahin. Some other time then. Waise knowing you, you'll probably pick another fight and decide to prank him after all" he joked. Heer glared at him and walked away.

While she was walking, she was thinking of a way to apologize. Heer wasn't used to apologizing and after yelling at Prem, she needed to think of a good way to do it. Why do I have such a big mouth? She thought. If only she hadn't overreacted then she wouldn't be in this mess. It was a known fact that Heer does whatever she wants and doesn't bow down to anyone, let alone admit her mistakes. This was going to hurt her ego for sure. As she was walking in deep thought, she saw takhurain ji muttering about so she decided to go ask her what was wrong.

"Kya hua auntie?" Takhurain smiled at her. She had known Heer since she was little and Heer was the only one who called her auntie.

"Kuch nahin beta. My grandson came to visit me for the first time in years and I'm preparing for that party. Par yahaan toh sab kaam chor hain" she looked at all the workers angrily.

"Do you want some help?" Heer smiled.

"It's ok. I couldn't possibly ask you to help"

"Koi baat nahin auntie. I don't mind"

After a lot of insisting, takhurain finally agreed and allowed Heer to help clean up. Heer tied her dupatta to the side and grabbed the broom and started sweeping the floor. If only Kaki could see me now, she's be so proud of me thought Heer. It's not that Heer was lazy or anything, but doing housework was not something she was known for. Of course when it came to helping others, she would readily lend help, not that most people asked her since they were afraid of something going wrong, takhurain being the exception of course.

While Heer was busy at work, Prem was in his room having trouble deciding what to wear. "Why did dadi have to plan such a huge party and invite the whole village? It's not like it's the first time I've come here" he muttered. He wasn't a big fan of parties and he didn't keep that fact hidden from takhuryain. In fact, he had spent the whole day complaining and after she had said she didn't want to hear another word about it from him, he went to his room and sulked.

Since it was almost 5, he decided that he might as well start getting ready. He took a shower and then pulled out a dark blue sherwani and a forest-green one. Which one should I wear? He deliberated but couldn't decide. "Dadi!" he yelled out a while later, taking both the sherwanis with him for takhurain to decide.
