It is Friday! And this is the second last part of this FF. After this, I shall concentrate on CC, though I haven't written that in ages. Hopefully, I'll start writing this weekend. Maybe not until I catch up with episodes of MJHT though. 😆 I want to catch up before I leave for Sydney. My cousins have Star One, and it'll be easier for me to watch there then here on YouTube! 😆
I'd mentioned that the parts got shorter right? Hope you still enjoy!

Na Kuch Poocha, Na Kuch Maanga, Tu Ney Dil Se Diya Joh Diya
Na Kuch Bola, Na Kuch Tola, Muskura Ke Diya Joh Diya
Tu Hi Dhoop Tu Hi Chaya, Tu Hi Apna, Paraya
Aur Kuch Na Jaanu, Bas Itna Hi Jaanu
Tujh Mein Rab Dikhta Hai, Yaara Main Kya Karu
Sajde Sar Jhukta Hai, Yaara Main Kya Karu
Tujh Mein Rab Dikhta Hai, Yaara Main Kya Karu
It had been two days since Prem Juneja had regained his lost memory and returned to his home and Harman had decided that his Bhaiyya needed to start taking up his other responsibilities again, something that Meher had scoffed at, saying that Harman just wanted more time to flirt with his secretary. Harman had smirked in response, telling her that his secretary had nothing on her (and failing to mention that his secretary was married, instead taking in Meher's blush rather happily). So he and Nihaal had decided to take Prem Bhaiyya to the office that morning and finally reopen the Chairman's office after a year. (Preet was once again spending the day in the hospital with his wife.)
Prem had complained as everyone had bundled him into the car, sulkingly accusing them of wanting him back just so he could free them from responsibilities to which Nihaal had replied with a cheeky "Of course!" which sent the rest into uncontrollable laughter, and had Prem pouting and petulantly calling "Heer!". Heer did not bother to protect Prem from the family's teasing; she was too busy giggling at his misfortune.
By the time they reached the office, Prem had somewhat stopped whining, though he was still making faces at both Nihaal and Harman. Harman just rolled his eyes and dragged his brother into the building as Nihaal handed the keys to the valet. He rushed in after them, wanting to see Prem's reaction to Harman informing him that they had never opened his office (except to get it cleaned, of course). He had promised his wife play-by-play details of the emotional scene that was sure to occur.
"Why is the door locked?" Prem asked, finally breaking his childish silence. Harman and Nihaal exchanged grins before Harman's slipped as he realised he had lost his bet with Meher. So Nihaal answered for him, informing Prem that the office had remained unused; nobody could take over his office. Prem was obviously touched by the gesture, and as the peon unlocked the door to his office, he hugged the two men.
As Prem made himself comfortable in his chair, Harman looked at Nihaal, who hastily stopped bouncing on the balls of his feet and playing air drums and hurried out of the room. Prem looked at his brother in question.
"Patience is a virtue, Bhaiyya," Harman said, laughing as Prem made another face at him.
Nihaal returned with a large stack of files which he dropped on the desk in front of Prem. "Have fun, saale-sahib." Prem looked in askance at him. He called out to both of them as they walked out of his office, but Harman just waved cheekily, chortling. Prem settled down with a sigh. Time to get back to work.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Prem loosened his tie as he entered his room. Preet and Harman had made a lot of noise when Heer had moved back out, saying that it had take ages for her to move in in the first place. He sighed wearily. He had thrown himself back into work the minute Harman and Nihaal had left his cabin.
"Prem?" Heer's voice distracted him from his work-related thoughts. He smiled at her as she came to stand in front of him. She looked a little nervous and when he noticed what she was holding in her hands, he realised why.
"Woh, Bauji ney diya tha, tumhe dene liye, jab tum wapas aaoge tab."
She hands him the thick paper, the words still visible after all these years. She bade him good night and left the room.
He took in their names as they were written on the card, and looked in the direction Heer had just gone. He grinned to himself. Tomorrow would be interesting.
Tu Hi Toh Jannat Meri, Tu Hi Mera Junnon
Tu Hi Toh Mannat Meri, Tu Hi Rooh Ka Sukun
Tu Hi Aankhiyon Ki Thandak, Tu Hi Dil Ki Hai Dastak
Aur Kuch Na Jaanu Main, Bas Itna Hi Jaanu,
Tujh Mein Rab Dikhta Hai, Yaara Main Kya Karu
Sajde Sar Jhukta Hai, Yaara Main Kya Karu
Tujh Mein Rab Dikhta Hai, Yaara Main Kya Karu
...Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi...
