"wooow!!! last night I thought today will be my farewell from this office...." expressing her fear, Veera settled down herself on her comfy seat while keeping the hot coffee on the table...... "why??...." asked a confused Heer, who took the last sip of her black tea....."the way he looked at me as if I was the ONLY one responsible for that situation......" observing her friend's surprised face, she admitted, "alright alright, I admit I was the one who literally dragged you for a walk but I didn't invite those psychoes to bug us....did I??.....".......giggling at Veera, she started to flip through the papers in the file........"Oh God!!! I still can't imagine what would have had happened if he didn't appear at the right time......I think I would have been cursing my mouth for the rest of my life for always opening it at the wrong moment.....damn it!!"......after taking a sip from her coffee, she coyly continued, "..But what an entry he made yaar!!!!.......perfect entry!!!....hayeeee!!" confessing her approbation, she shared a giggle with her friend........noticing Veera's excitement, Heer decided to tease her, still keeping her gaze on the papers, ".....aahaa!!!!....had a crush on him??....."......stunned by her sudden inquiry, Veera replied "honey, I LOVE MYSELF......so kick that thought outta your mind..." resting her case, Veera took a sip of her coffee...
"well!! I would say, he is the perfect one.......for YOU" making Heer instantly look at her with a raised eyebrow......ignoring her colleague's look, she continued, "Prem and Heer.......wow!!!".......unaware of her own blushed countenance she shushed her friend "...Shut up!!!!........what made you think that I don't love myself??!!!"......observing the sudden glow on her face, Veera stated, " oh my goodness!!!.......look at your face Heer...."......hearing Veera's sudden scream, she touched her cheeks while confusedly staring at her friend......" I can already see a fresh glow on it......ohhoo!!!.....as if his 'name' with 'yours' did the magic......kyun??!!" winking at her, she teased back........rolling her eyes, she decided to quit the game, "....fine my bad......I take my words back.......happy......now stop it!!!".......seeing her cute face, Veera laughed, "awww....apology accepted.......but think about it, Prem the hot and handsome with Heer the sweet and sexy"......noticing her colleague's raised eyebrows at her sudden judgement, she quickly justified herself, " arre I was just kidding yaar......aur waise bhi at least I didn't call you a dumb.." grinning at her, both girls broke into a laugh......
Pretending to be thinking, Veera again started "..ok...I know you two are completely different from each other......but have you ever heard of the phrase, 'opposite attracts'??......who knows one day you two might end up toge...." cutting her off, Heer got up from the seat, ".....I have better things to do hon....good luck with your matchmaking......"......"but....I was just...." Veera made a face as she again got interrupted by Heer....".....sorry dear.......see yaa...." smiling at her dear friend, she left the cabin....
"May I come in Sir?", asked Heer before entering the room......."here it is..." handling a file to her boss, she stood there, waiting for the file to take back with her........"yes! the branch number is 99460-2523......I want an immediate result of this issue.....make it fast!!!!......thanks" finishing his conversation on the phone, Prem handed back the file to his new employee........'should I say that?....no!!...what if he gets me wrong?' debating within herself, she decided to leave for her cabin, when she heard his concerned voice, "what is it?", noticing her little activities of uneasiness as she was looking everywhere but him, he couldn't resist himself from asking.......'Oh God! did he just read my mind?' surprised at the sudden inquiry, she mumbled for words, "umm....huh....I mean....yeah..."....trying to keep her concentration steady, she finally uttered the word, "thanks!!!"......seeing his confused face, she quietly expressed her gratitute while keeping her gaze down, " I meant to say....I mean, I wanted to thank you for last night....." satisfied with her confession, she looked up at him with an admirable smile.....
Leaning back in the leather chair to place the right elbow on the armrest with twisted index and middle fingers in his lips while left hand was swirling the paperweight on the table, he closely observed Heer.......why is she being so sweet??......is she acting??......who knows??......first will apologize, next will attempt to impress him, then that same shit*y 'love' topic.....and at the end will make her cheap way to get back at him......reason???.....simple........his MONEY!!!!!.......that's all, it matters to this kinda girls........always after their wealthy Boss......just like Sanjana......how sweetly she tried to trap him.......however, at the last moment, he did give a dose of her own medicine......since then he always kept himself alert from such 'sweet' girls......
But why does she seem different to him??.....what is so special about her that compels him to think inversely about her.....is that her attractive and innocent eyes or her simplicity???.......what if she deliberately put on that mask of simplicity in order to get whatever she wants??......unable to take his silent observation, she cleared her throat, assuming that her boss might have missed her point...... "Thank you Sir!!" she repeated with a half smile......still staring at her, he pursued, "anything else??!!......lets say I am impressed by your apology....so.....n....."......."excuse me si.....?!!" taken aback by his response Heer confusedly stared at her boss......"lemme finish!!!........so!!!.....now you don't have to pretend to be in love with me.....then yo."......unable to take anymore of his nonsense, she interrupted, "Excuse me, Sir!!.......first of all, I have no idea, how and where this conversation is heading to......secondly, I don't think you deserve my appreciation, so I take my words back.......and last but not the least, love could be a priceless junk for such unfortunate people like you but for me, love is life" throwing a revolted look towards him, she decided to leave the place.....
Impressed yet surprised at her guts, he casually got up from his comfortable chair........" huh!!!......girls like you can do anything for money......so cut this bulls*** okay!!!......." sarcastically answered back whilst making a drink for himself......."......people like you can give importance to nothing else except money........but to me, my self-respect is very precious...." she snapped back.......pissed at the common blo*dy lecture, he bursted out while pointing at her, "Oh really!!!.......I will see how long you can keep that 'self-respectism' in yourself......I have heard of this same crap before......but when time comes, you all show your true colors......"....then changing his expression to bring a smirk on his face, he stated, "at the end of the day, you don't even give a damn to your so-called self-respect....".......taking a gulp of the brand alcohol, he continued, ".......but to enjoy a glimpse of this luxurious life, you proudly prefer to be a one night stand "......
