What a scene!

I'm a day late but I just watched the Sanjay-Shruti confrontation from yesterday...sheer BRILLIANCE👏👏👏 My god when you get superb writing and fab actors in one scene...such a rare, rare feat on Indian TV! I generally forget that it's possible only...lol

LOVED Manav's acting...his hurt, his anger at Shruti...bang on...the confrontation was SO well written...from both sides...Sanjay feeling hurt that Shruti treated him like an outsider when he considers her his best friend...he scolded her like an APNA...

And Shruti for her part feels Sanjay is doing too much...actually labeled all his help and support as CHARITY, hurting him even more in the process...

What came across the most to me in this scene was how deep their bond runs...before Shruti was a wife, a mother...they have this history together...and it is that history due to which Sanjay is so connnected and concerned for her...in that he doesn't care about anything else...and while Shruti in general gives that bond the same regard, of late, she has taken so many blows that she feels upset and cornered...so lashes out at the one person she can lash out at...her best friend.


I loved that this confrontation didn't have any romantic connotations to it...Sanjay is hurt on a very bone deep level and that is what came through the most...maybe he is in transition regarding his feelings...but this moment right here was about two individuals who deeply care for each other and were expressing their HURT and ANGUISH to each other.

Loved it!

It's a pleasure watching Manav and Gautami act together👏👏

and regarding the scene that you are referring to , yes, that was one GEM of a scene. Sonal must be lucky to get such amazing veterans to enact the characters .. Manav and Gautami were simply superlative in that scene👏, specially Gautami 👏! KA would have loved to do a scene like that instead of shedding endless buckets of tears over a hopelessly irredeemable son !

This show has more or less COPIED the basic NBT-1 storyline...widow with two kids...a husband who's death happened under suspicious circumstances...they should have changed SOMETHING in the story atleast...JLZ atleast has a more refreshing story standing on its own...I think they are doing a good job of a slice of life feel in that show.

Anyways, getting back to this show...yes, Sonal's writing touches show...the treatment of the story is simple and very reminiscent of early 90s shows which had classy plots/actors...That said, the only two characters and actors that REALLY pull me into watching the show are Sanjay-Shruti i.e. Manav-Gautami...not a fan of the RJ kid...Ulka is good though.

Fab analysis! The best scene of the serial so far. The hurt,emotions, anger everything was portrayed brilliantly by both. It truly showed their deep bonding of friendship.Sanjay was hurt because eveyone knows about the job except him and he got to know from an outsider. Shruti was also correct in her place as she feels Sanjay is already doing too much for her family.

Such beautiful writing with superb acting as you mentioned.It felt so real. Sonals touch is also visible in words like Oo Teri, Yaar, idiot,(i dont remember hearing idiot in tv serials😆 and here he uses it twice).

Also like how Amis character is sketched out.An average girl with lots of problems which most of teenagers face. I cant believe they actually showed in detail the different ways of cheating.😆

I LOVE how natural their friendship is...like you said...words like o teri, yaar...I especially love how they call each other YAAR without any formality...and the way Sanjay teases her calling her 'hunterwaali'😆...the casual way in which they interact...hit each other playfully...speaks of years of friendship and the ease and comfort that comes with it...beautiful

And the way Sanjay told Ami to shut up😆...I like the HAQ with which he treats all of them...from Shruti to the kids...the haq that comes from true caring :)

Yes, Ami's character is quite realistically sketched out too...and the choices kids face at that point.
