To all those clueless readers who must have brushed me off as a lunatic, let me tell you that this song is very apt for today's column!

Let me start off by explaining that Mi stands for Milind, and Nee for Neev, the two male leads from the famous Kekta KSoap-Kayamath! "Rumor Has It" that Shabbir Ahluwalia and Jay Bhanushali, the Milind and Neev respectively, have taken an extreme liking to each other, and are often seen together at parties and events, happily posing for the shutterbugs in each other's arms

It's also whispered in the fraternity that their admiration and adoration for each other have grown to such an extent that both have requested the director to put them together in the same frame as much as possible, even if it is at the expense of Milind's romantic scenes with Prachi (which actually forms the crux of the story!!!!!!). What's even more surprising is that the director is actually accommodating their feelings by capturing them together in the weirdest of situations!!!!!!!!!

For instance: Neev barges into MICHI's bedroom when they are having a romantic moment together, and demands why Mi wasn't responding to his calls, as a bewildered Prachi looked on. A guilty Milind then apologized and calmly puts his fears to rest by offering an explanation that he was with another friend! At this, Neev actually looked jealous and, with a pout (trust me..it was a handsome pout!!!), inquired about this 'friend'. Hey Bhagawan, I don't think even Prachi ever asks this many questions to Milind…

OOi ma…ye kya ho raha hai?

Kayamath's fans, me included, are now fervently wondering whether the director plans to change the direction of the story by making it a MINEE romance, instead of a MICHI one! Last I heard though, Neev was being bumped off because Jay didn't seemed 'satisfied' with this role. OUCH! Did he refuse to be part of a serial that doesn't pair him with the man he secretly cares about? Or does this imply that Mi too would be killed, so the two 'unconventional' lovebirds can rest in peace together, while the beautiful Prachi pines for her man her whole life, blissfully unaware that he wasn't really 'her man?'

*sigh* Too many questions, too few answers. Ab director saaheb, aap hi batayiye...ye 'gay'si kayamat hai?
