Epilogue

Angad sat in his office holding a picture frame in his hands. It was of when Milind and Prachi renewed their vows at Mont-Royal. As he looked at it, a smile at automatically formed on his lips. On the picture, he had Diya in his arms and Milind and Prachi by his side. It has now been 5 years, but he still remembered as it was yesterday. He remembered the pain in his heart at that moment. It ached for Prachi and Diya. He remembered how hard it was for him to keep smiling. He had loved Prachi more than anything in this world and cared for Diya like a real father. In fact, he had loved Diya as his own. That day, giving them up was the hardest thing to do but at the same time, he also knew that it was the only right thing to do as well.

Soon after their renewal, Milind and Prachi had returned to India. Milind had his entire business empire there so he couldn't live here in Montreal. Moreover, Premlatha wanted to go back home. Her country was her home and since Milind and Prachi were back together, it was time to go where they belonged. Prachi had insisted that Angad come along and start a business with Milind but he refused. However, he promised to visit twice every year. Angad knew that staying away from Diya and Prachi was going to be hard but at the same time, it would heal the pain in his heart. Milind on the other hand didn't insist that much as he felt and understood his pain.

Looking back at the picture in his hands, he brushed his fingers on Prachi face. She was the love of his life and when she became someone else's forever, he thought he would never be able to love again. His life had changed and he cursed destiny for his fate. However, little did he know that what ever happens is for the good. The real love of his life was yet to come.

Once Milind and Prachi left for India, he was all ready to sell of his company and travel the world like he use to do before he met Prachi. But then one day, he met a Kripa Kapoor, a girl completely different than Prachi. She had moved in the neighbourhood and they had met by chance, or shall we say by destiny's purpose. She had put some sense in him and convinced him that he couldn't live his life like this. How long could he keep running?

She had fallen in love with him from their first meeting; it was like if something kept pulling her towards him. However, Angad always kept his distance. Initially, he didn't let her come close to him, as there was already someone in his heart. But Kripa, being the stubborn girl she is, she managed to enter and break the invisible wall around him. She had showered him with so much love and care that he simply couldn't resist anymore. She showed him a new meaning for love and friendship. She gave him a new meaning of life.

Angad was lost in his thoughts when a little boy came running to him. Picking him up in his arms he said "You have come along'where is your mama" and the little boy pointed towards the door.

As he turned around, he saw Kripa entering with a smile on her face, looking beautiful as always. Yes, they were now married. In fact, it has been more than three years now and they had a little boy who they named Prateek. Prachi was the one who had organized everything for their wedding. That day she was extremely happy. She had prayed to God to send someone for Angad and she couldn't have asked for anyone better than Kripa. She understood him and they completed each other just like she completed Milind.

As Kripa walked towards her husband and child she said "The tickets have come, we are leaving this Saturday morning"

"Perfect" he said. They were going to visit Prachi and Milind like every year. They were both looking forward to it except little Prateek as he always felt his dad was being shared with Diya.

Once Kripa came to his side, Angad immediately put one hand around her pulling her close to him. He kissed his boy and then placed a soft kiss on his wife's forehead. His wife by his side and his child in his arms, he couldn't ask for more. Life was simply perfect.

"Mama where are they" said an excited Diya as she waited for Angad's arrival.

"They will be here'why can't you be patient like your little brother" said Prachi as she pointed towards Rehan. He was patiently waiting in Milind's arms. Rehan was now four years old and he was best of friends with Angad's son.

Walking up to Prachi, Milind said "Prachi why don't you wait in the car with Rehan'you shouldn't be standing being 8 months pregnant" and Prachi smiled at him. She was now going to have their third child and Milind was constantly keeping on eye on her.

"Its okay'I'll be fine'they will be here any min'" she was saying when she heard Diya say "I see them" and ran towards them.

"Angad Papa" Diya called him all excited and hugged him. She was now 10 years old, but she still called him Angad papa. She now knew that he was not her dad but the habit had remained and every time she called him that, his heart would fill with happiness. It always felt right. Prateek who was in his arms, suddenly tighten his grip and said "This is my papa" and Diya smiled at him.

"Hello Kripa aunty" she said much later.

"Hello beta" Kripa said in return

"Hello Angad'how was the trip" asked Milind

"Good'but very long" he said placing Prateek down as he could play with Rehan.

"Prachi'looks like the baby is on its way" said Kripa gently placing her hand on Prachi's swollen belly.

"Its is'but what about you'Prateek has grown up'when will we get to hear the good news" she asked

"Soon" said Angad

"I think I'm the one who should answer that question" said Kripa and everyone laughed.

Milind and Prachi dropped Angad and Kripa at Kripa's parents. They would stay there for a week and the remaining week with them.

That evening as Prachi sat on the sofa, both Diya and Rehan placed their head on her swollen belly.

When the baby suddenly kicked, they both looked at Prachi and she said smiling "He wants to come out and meet both of you"

Placing her hand on her mom's belly Diya said "Mama, I want a little sister"

Pushing her hand away, Rehan placed his hand and said "No mama, I want a little brother like Prateek"

"No its going to be a girl" said Diya

"No a boy" said Rehan in return

Milind couldn't stop laughing seeing his kids fighting over the gender of the baby. He remembered his fight with Prachi last night over the same subject. Last night he hadn't found a solution but today he did.

Sitting beside her he said "Don't worry'if it's a boy this time and next time, its going to be a girl or vice versa" and Prachi looked at him her eyes wide open. This was their third child and this one hasn't even put a step on this world and here he was planning for another child. "Yes Milind, I have a better idea'next time why don't you carry the baby" she said and stoop up to leave.

"Chalo bacho, its time for bed" she said and they both followed her upstairs.

Much later, as Prachi was going to her room after putting her children to bed, she was surprised to find her bedroom decorated with candles. She smiled to herself. He never failed to make her feel special and loved. With the moonlight and the candles, the room simply looked beautiful. She slowly stepped in to look for Milind. As she walked towards the windows, she felt a pair of strong arms pull her. "Milind, yeh sab kya hai'there was no need for all this" she said as she rested her head in his chest and his arms around her.

"Well'there is a reason behind all this" he said with a smirk on his face.

"What?" asked Prachi curiously

"Well'hmm'you know the other baby I was talking about" he said

"Milind'look at me'I'm already pregnant'its our third child'look at me'I'm so fat and all"

"Well sweetheart'if you are worried about your weight'it shouldn't be a problem" he said

"Why not?" she questioned him back

"Because, another baby or not'you have already put on so much wait'it wouldn't change anything" he teased her and he him hard on his chest.

"Milind'" she said sulking. She was about to walk away when he caught hold of her hand and before she could protest, he kissed her full of love and passion.

Breaking apart, he said "Even if you become fat like an elephant, you will always remain the most beautiful woman in this world'and nothing in this world can change that'you understand that" and she nodded smiling at him.

Brushing her lips against his, she said "I love you"

"I love you too" he said taking her in his arms, where she belonged. Life was simply perfect.

Angad found love in Kripa (nice name Kripa by the way), well the i dont know if u ever watch KYPH...Angad and Kripa were the names of the leads on that show...played by Iqbal Khan and Neha Bamb...happy for him and his family! He got his happily ever after...
