Your story is oozing romance in bucket loads...very nice....I like that last comment Milind made to Prachi in the previous chapter...The way you are etching the character looks like Prachi is a chirpy lil thing and Milind is quiet, intense types...

Part 8

The next morning, Milind woke up groggy, He hadn't been able to sleep well. Whole night he had been thinking of Prachi, how beautiful she looked when she smiled ,danced , talked....he was just mesmerised with her and he had just met her 2 days back. How could somebody effect u so much in such a small time?? His mind was always occupied with her thoughts. He looked at his watch and grabbed his shirt. Quickly putting it over his head, he took long steps towards Neev room.
"Neev, abe uth, kitna sota hai tu, dekh 8 baj gaye" said Milind as he nudged Neev to wake up.
"sone do yaar, kabhi tu , kabhi Prachi..." Neev rolled under the blanket. Milind pulled his blanket "yaar please wake up, why hasn't Prachi come to meet u today?? didn't u say she meets u daily?"
"oh, so u want to meet Prachi now, meri to koi kadar hi nahi??" Neev teased Milind. Milind smiled, he knew he was really eager to see her again. Infact he wanted her in front of his eyes all the time.
"Remember the time when I would call her from US and you would be making furious faces and now u are the one who wants to see Prachi" Neev smiled as he got up from bed.
Milind jokingly make a fist and as if about to punch Neev. Neev quickly put his hands in the air. "let me call her and see"
Neev called the shah house and found that Prachi had already left for college as she had an early class.

"Milind, now u have to wait till the evening to meet Prachi, she has gone to her college" Neev informed.
"Aree shaam tak to main paagal ho jaaunga" Milind said irritated "comeon quickly get ready, we r going to her college" Saying Milind left Neev standing in his room amazed. What had gotten into his friend, he thought. He then smiled to himself, he knew exactly what had happened, whistling he went to get ready.

One hour later, Milind and Neev were outside Prachi's college. And Neev called Prachis' cell to let her know that they were there. Prachi was furious. She came out and walked angrily towards them
"Are u guys crazy??? What r u doing here? WHat is so important that it couldn't wait till I got back?"

Both friends were surprised, they hadn't expected this. Neev knew Prachi was very mad, he stuttered "woh, ....uh....woh" "Milind ko tumse kuch kaam tha" He said quickly without looking at Milind. Prachi shot an angry glance towards Milind who was left standing with a open mouth all thanks to Neev.
"I remember I have to find somebody for u, but did u forget I have a life of my own too??" She snapped.
Milind was now confused and didn't know what to say to her. He had rehearsed what he was gonna say to her but now looking at her , this mad, his mind went blank. He knew she was furious at this moment so thought it would be better if they just left.
"Sorry Prachi, We will maybe see you later" he said quietly.
Prachi now felt sorry for shouting at them " I will be free by afternoon, we can meet at the cafe few blocks from here" She said and left. Neev and Milind meekly nodded.

"What was that?? why did u put the whole blame on me??" Putting his hands on his hips Milind asked Neev.
"Well it was ur great idea, u were the one dying to see her, saath mei main bhi phas gaya" Neev complained. "Now that u have had a glimpse of her, can we go and eat something?? I m starving, "
Neev didn't get a chance to have his breakfast as Milind had earlier dragged him out of the house.

Prachi was both happy and mad to see Milind. She had resisted the urge to go and meet Neev before coming to college. She knew he would be sleeping and it would have been fun to throw some water on him to wake him up but had decided against it. She knew Milind would be there too and she wasn't sure if she wanted to see him. But now that Milind had walked up to her, she was delighted and sad at the same moment. Sure he showed up at her college but he hadn't come for her but for somebody else. She promised herself that she would help him find the person he was looking for. They were friends afterall and thats what friends do. With this thought she went to attend the rest of her classes.

After having something to eat, Milind and Neev spent their morning roaming around the small city. They were anxiously waiting for the afternoon but they still had no clue what they were gonna say to Prachi.

Prachi having finished her classes walked up to the cafe. She had been there a countless number of times with her friends. Once inside she spotted them sitting in the far left corner. She walked upto them and seated herself next to Neev, she was now facing Milind. "ok, spill the details" she said.

"I met this girl a couple of days back but I didn't ask her name, nor I know where she lives..infact I know nothing about her" Said Milind telling her half the truth.
Prachi looked amused "So u know nothing about her. How do u suppose I find her then??? Can u describe her maybe?"

Milind now was looking deeply in her eyes. "Sure I can give u her description" And with this he started to describe Prachi to Prachi. The big brown eyes, mole on her right cheek, long dark flowing hair....he went on and on. Neev was astounded, listening to Milind and looked at Prachi as he knew she would now have guessed that the girl Milind was talking about was her. But Prachi was too distracted by Milind that she wasn't listening to a single word he was saying. It seemed as if the words weren't reaching her ears. The way Milind was looking at her sent shivers down her spine. No man had ever looked at her like that. She felt as if she was in a trance.

"So, now do u think u can find Pari for Milind?? asked Neev giving Prachi a shove with his shoulder. Neev's question brought Prachi to reality and she looked at Neev "Huh?? Pari?? I thought u said u don't know her name." She looked more confused now. "Woh kya hai na Prachi, Milind ko woh bilkul ek pari ki tarah lagi so he calls her Pari" Neev winked at Milind.
"Theek hai, I will try and help u Milind. But u have to promise me that when u meet her, u have to definetely introduce me to her" she tried to sound as cheerful as possible although she had absolutely no idea whatsoever what the girl looked like.

Neev then told Prachi how Milind was there for a little while and he wants all of them to spend some time together. Prachi did agree but immediately found hating herself. How was she gonna resist Milind's charm?? She can't fall in love with him, he was already in love with someone else. She just would be careful, she promised herself.

On the other hand, Milind was surprised at Prachi's behaviour. Everywhere he went, girls would be drooling all over him but Prachi was different. She showed no signs that she was even remotely attracted to him. One girl he wants to fall for him was immune to his charm.
All this made very difficult for them to have small talk. Neev could sense the tension between his friends and thought that they just need to spend some more time together to get over this awkwardness and his mind was already cooking up some plan.
