Wow what a part.. If I could get my hands on one of the destructives of this serial I would give him a smack on his head and would say go and look at thia ff... This is how we want the story to go... gr8 part dear.. you are a natural.. 👏

Lol....well Milind is not completely positive in my FF because I am trying to stick to the characters....you will have to read on to see that Milind is generally nice, with a shade of gray (as he is in the serial)

😆..kyun koi shak :)...its better than that awful green sari, god Prachi looks like a khet in the green one, purple is much better na, def improvement😉

Part 11:

It was about 12pm when Prachi and Milind arrived home. They thought they would arrive at 11pm, but they had stopped half-way to eat dinner. MIlind had taken Prachi to a beautiful restaurant, where everyone had complimented her on her elegant saree, much to Prachi and
Milind's delight.

As they drove closer to the mansion, they realized that the lights in the house were still on.

"Are they expecting us?" asked Prachi.

"No," Milind responded, "I wanted it to be a surprise."

Both were confused as to why everyone was still awake.
The guards opened the front gates of the mansion, and Milind drove in and parked closest to the front door, so Prachi would not have to walk too much.

Milind got out of the vehicle, and went and opened Prachi's door. Prachi let out a huge smile, and grabbed onto Milind's arm as they walked to the front door. Milind still could not help but stare at how beautiful his wife looked.

As Milind was about to put his key into the front door, it instantly opened. Ayesha was standing at the door stone-faced. She furiously flipped her hair and turned around and walked away from the couple, when she noticed that Prachi's hands were latched onto Milind's arm.

Premlatha came running to the door, "PRACHI!" she screamed. Both mother and daughter rushed to hug eachother. After embracing her daughter, Premlatcha looked at how stunning her daughter was looking, "Oh Prachi, you look amazing! Did Milind buy this for you?"

Prachi shyly nodded and smiled. She then noticed that the whole family was awake, except Neev and Alap. "Mom, why is everyone still awake?" she asked.

"Honey, we were planning a surprise party for you! We wanted you to be surprised when you came home," laughed Premlatha.

"Well," Milind finally spoke, "I guess we surprised you instead."

Prachi's mom smiled, and now hugged Milind too. "What a pleasant surprise it is!" she exclaimed.

Soon the whole family came up to Prachi and embraced her, from her siblings to her grandmother to her sister-in-law to Sukriti. Even the servants told Prachi that they hoped she was feeling better.

"Mom, where are Neev and Alaap?" Prachi inquired.

Milind noticed Prachi's mention of Neev, and got angry. "I guess some things never change," he said to himself, "Salaah Neev beech mein a jaata hai." Milind's hands formed fists and they started shaking in anger. Not wanting to create a scene, he walked away towards his bedroom, holding his and Prachi's bags in his hands.

Prachi did not notice Milind leave, as she was listening intently to what her mother was saying. "Sweetheart, Neev and Alaap have gone on an important business meeting. They will be back in a few days," responded Premlatha.

"When is Baba coming back?" asked Prachi.

"He will be back in a couple days as well," responded Premlatha.

"Bhabhi," Sukriti spoke, "You must be tired from the long drive. Let me help you to your room."

Prachi wanted to tell Sukriti that she would go upstairs with her husband, Milind, but she could not see him anywhere. "Okay, Sukrita. Thanks." Prachi replied dejectedly. Sukriti grabbed her hand, and they both slowly made their way up the staircase.

As soon as Milind entered his bedroom he pounded his fist into the wall. He remembered that night when Neev had confessed his love for Prachi the night of the reunion party. He remembered catching Neev and Prachi meeting various times on the staircase and in his own bedroom. He remembered Prachi trying to break up his fights with Neev. He remembered Prachi, just a moment ago, inquiring about her aashiq Neev. "Salee, I should never trust her. This family is toxic. I have never been treated well by them. I am an idiot for even giving a damn about Prachi," he thought to himself.

In anger, Milind took off his shirt and started changing into his night time kurta. He was standing in his undershirt and boxers, when he felt two slender, cold hands hug him from behind. He turned around and saw Ayesha standing there. "I missed you Milind," she lustfully heaved.

"Ayesha please! I need to be alone right now!" he replied in frustration.

Ayesha's lustful expression instantly turned into one of anger! "YOU CAN'T TREAT ME LIKE THIS MILIND!!! I am the one who cares for you. I am the one who yearns for you! I can give you everything you want Milind!" she screamed.

"I know," replied Milind softly, as he put his hand on his head,and ran his fingers through his thick hair.He sat down on the bed."…But please Ayesha, not now. We will discuss this tomorrow. I am tired, and on top of that, I have to deal with my whore of a wife" he explained.

Ayesha's anger melted. She went up to Milind and kissed him softly on his cheek. "Okay baby. We will talk tomorrow morning. Have a good night," she whispered into his ear.

As Ayesha was leaving, Milind looked up and saw Prachi entering the room with Sukriti. Prachi turned and gazed at Ayesha leaving the room, as Ayesha smugly smiled at Prachi.

Milind noted that Prachi seemed visibly upset to see Ayesha leaving their room at this time of night. "But then again," he thought to himself, "I don't know Prachi at all. She probably doesn't even give a damn as to why Ayesha was here."

As soon as Prachi entered the room, she turned towards Sukriti and courteously thanked her for her assistance in helping her upstairs. Sukriti hugged her sister-in-law, and waved goodnight to her brother, who said nothing. Sukriti then turned and walked away to her own bedroom. Milind and Prachi were left alone.

"Ayesha kyun aye thi?" asked Prachi in a serious tone.

"Why do you care? You should mind your own business" retorted Milind, as he lay down on the bed.

Prachi's face went pale, and Milind could see the tears welling up in her eyes. "Shit," he remembered, "I'm not supposed to upset her, because she is still sick." He recalled telling the doctor that he would take care of Prachi for the next couple of weeks.

Before Prachi could let out a tear, Milind rose instantly from the bed. He rushed to the cabinet and grabbed a nightgown for Prachi. "Here, put this on. It's late. We should go to sleep," he told her.

Prachi wiped her eyes, and was truly confused as to why Milind's tone had changed so much in a few seconds. He seemed angry but now he seemed concerned. Anyways, she was happy that they weren't fighting. So not wanting to start a disagreement, she went to the bathroom to change.

As Prachi was walking to the bathroom, she got dizzy and fell backwards. Reacting instantly, Milind moved towards her and caught her in his arms. Prachi looked up in surprise and couldn't help but stare directly into Milind's eyes. Milind couldn't help himself either, something about Prachi's big brown eyes seemed to call out for him. They both gazed into each other's eyes until Prachi put her hand on her forehead.

"Are you okay?" inquired Milind, with apparent concern in his voice.

"I'm okay. I just got a little dizzy," explained Prachi. She really just wanted to lie down, but did not want Milind to get too worried. So instead of staying in the comforting grasp of Milind's arms, she quickly stood upright and walked towards the bathroom to change.

"Wow," Milind thought, "she can't even stand being in my arms."

Prachi quickly changed, and put her new saree into the closet. She was wearing a light pink nightgown, and even though Milind was angry at her, he couldn't help but stare. The nightgown rested gracefully on Prachi's skin, highlighting every sexy curve and angle of her body. Prachi's face looked angelic, with her long hair flowing naturally down her back.

He noticed that Prachi was making her bed on the ground, as she did every night. But tonight he stopped her. "Arrey Prachi," he spoke, "You are sick. You are not sleeping on the ground! Sleep on the bed and I will sleep down here."

"No Milind," Prachi responded with determination in her voice, "The bed is yours. I am sleeping down here. Please, I don't want to discomfort you."

Milind knew from the tone in Prachi's voice that she was not going to alter her stance. "Fine," sighed Milind, "Then I will sleep on the ground too!" He grabbed his pillow and blanket and lay down next to the bed that Prachi had made for herself.

Prachi let out a soft laugh. "Fine!" she responded. She did not want to let him know, but in her heart, she was happy to be sleeping in proximity to her husband. Seeing Ayesha here a couple minutes ago had really angered and upset her. But, to see her husband wanting to be near her relieved her of all her anxieties. Hope emerged, in Prachi's mind and heart, that her relationship with her husband was not dead. Prachi closed her eyes, and rested her head on her pillow, and very quickly dozed off into a peaceful sleep.

As Milind lay down on the bed he had made, near Prachi's on the ground, he realized, that this was the first time he was sleeping so close to Prachi. He was confused. If he hated her so much, then why had he volunteered to sleep next to her? Why did he care for her well-being? "She is my responsibility," Milind thought to himself, "This is only temporary, so I should be nice to her. Besides, when Neev comes back my responsibility will be over." But still, even this reassurance was not enough for Milind. There WAS something that made him give a damn for Prachi. Even though he hated her, he still felt something for her. What did he feel? He did not know. With all these questions in his mind, Milind fell asleep.
