Prachi lay quietly sleeping in her husband's arms for two more hours, until 8am. Their slumber was interrupted by the ringing of Milind's cell phone. Milind, slightly awake, ignored the ringing, choosing instead to bury his face into the side of Prachi's neck.
"Uf Milind," Prachi spoke softly, "Aap ka phone!"
"I don't care," muttered Milind, "Salaah phone bhi nahin mujhe romance karney deta hai!"
"Milind! It might be important. I think you should answer it," advised Prachi.
Sighing, Milind kissed Prachi's soft neck and sat upright, grabbing his cell from the night table beside him. "Milind Mishra speaking," he muttered.
As Milind listened to the voice on the other side of the phone for a couple of seconds, his demeanour changed instantly! "Kya!" he yelled in astonishment, as he quickly lept out of the luxurious bed, wearing only his boxers. "But…Lekin…I sent Rahul to Dubai instead to finalize the deal!" He pounded his fist against the fireplace mantle, as Prachi realized something was terribly wrong. She quickly grabbed one of the lavish hotel robes and put it on, and speedily walked towards Milind, who was now standing on the balcony, burying his hands in his hair.
"Shit! How could this happen? I don't pay you idiots to mess up like this! Where is Mr. Hussein now?" yelled Milind. Prachi grabbed Milind's hand and pulled him back into the room from the balcony. He was standing outside in the cold weather wearing only his boxers! She didn't want him to get sick.
As Prachi silently forced Milind to sit down in the armchair beside the bed, he finished his conversation with the person on the other side of the phone, by simply saying, "I will do it. Bye." Milind through his phone on the bed, and put buried his face in his hands.
"Milind, is everything okay?" a worried Prachi asked.
Milind looked up to see Prachi on the verge of tears. His poor wife was visibly shaken. Sighing, he took her hand in his, and made her sit on his lap. She wasted no time, and wrapped her arms around his neck, and hugged him.
"Don't worry Prachi. Everything is going to be okay. Mr. Desmukh couldn't go to Dubai, so I sent another one of my employees, Rahul, instead. But his flight was delayed and by the time he arrived in Dubai, Mr. Hussein, was gone. So the important contract did not get signed, and obviously, Mr. Hussein is not impressed with our company," explained Milind.
"But our company has a world-renowned reputation. I am sure Mr. Hussein can be persuaded to still deal with only our company," said Prachi.
"Haa Prachi. I agree with you. That is why I have to leave for Australia in 15 minutes."
"What?" an astonished Prachi asked.
"Well I personally need to go smooth things over with Yasir Hussein and right now he is in Australia for a business conference. I can go there and I am sure everything will work out fine. Our company needs this contract, but his company needs this too!"
Prachi's eyes started filling up with tears, and she got up from the chair, and walked towards the other side of the room. Milind noticed her behavior and walked towards her.
"Kya huha Prachi?"
"I am going with you too," she told him.
"Prachi! Yaar, what are you going to do there?"
That was enough. Tears started flowing from Prachi's eyes as she tried turning away from Milind.
"What's wrong Prachi?"
"How can you do this Milind?" she sobbed, "After everything that happened…how can you just leave me like this?"
Milind took Prachi into his arms and gave her a giant bear hug. "I am only going for 3 days!"
"But how will I stay without you for these 3 days?" cried Prachi.
Milind reached down and gave Prachi a soft kiss on the lips. "But Prachi, what will you do in Australia? I will be attending these business meetings and you will just get bored."
"Milind," she sobbed, "if you don't want to take me you don't have to. I understand." She broke out of his grasp and started moving towards the bathroom. Not wasting a second, Milind grabbed her by the waist and pulled her towards him. She was facing away from him, as her back was touching his chest. He used one hand to move her hair as he started kissing the behind of her neck passionately. She tried moving away, but the harder she tried to move away, the stronger his grasp became, and the more passionate his kisses became.
"Stop Milind!" Prachi whispered. She could hardly keep her balance, as it seemed like Milind was melting her away.
Finally, Milind stopped kissing her, and put his lips on her ear, and whispered, "There is a boutique in the lobby of the hotel. Let's go get some outfits…we can't be wandering around Australia looking like this."
Prachi turned around to face Milind, with visible happiness beaming from her face. "Really?" she asked in shock.
Milind laughed, "Get ready baby, let's go have some fun in the sun in Australia."
Not being able to control her excitement, Prachi grabbed Milind by the neck and pulled him closer. She planted a big kiss on his lips as he willingly wrapped his arms around her slender body.

It had been less than an hour since they had arrived in Australia.
Back in India, Milind had speedily made the arrangements for their trip to Australia. He had informed Prachi's mother that he was taking her daughter to Australia for a business conference. He had told Premlata that he wanted Prachi to learn the inner-dealings of their business, but Premlata was no fool. She had enthusiastically pretended to buy Milind's story, but deep-down inside, she knew that her son-in-law and her daughter were heading to Australia for other reasons too.
Now, Prachi and Milind were standing in their sophistical hotel suite at the Sydney Pier Hotel. Milind quickly dropped his bag, and locked the door. "Prachi, I am going to meet with Mr. Hussein at 8pm tonight. Do you know what that means?" he asked.
Prachi turned towards him and answered, "That you have enough time to lay out your business proposal?"
"Oh GOD!" Milind thought, "This girl is too innocent."
"Am I right Milind?" Prachi asked.
"No Prachi! You fail!" Milind stated.
"Fail? Really? Then what was I supposed to say?" she asked naively.
"Yaar! Tum bhi na! Do I have to spell it out for you?"
Prachi giggled, "Milind! Don't confuse me!"
Milind moved towards his wife, and mischeviously put his arm on her back, and slowly started unbuttoning her saree blouse. Prachi finally clued in. She now knew what he meant. She shyly moved away.
"What?" asked Milind.
"Milind Mishra, you brought me all this way to Australia to do this?" she asked in a teasing tone.
As she took a step back, Milind took a step forward. He kept moving closer and closer, until Prachi's back was against the wall, and his arms were back around her.
"But aren't you jet-lagged from the long flight?" she asked with a smile.
"Why don't you help me get refreshed?" he retorted with a smirk on his face.
Prachi tried looking away, but couldn't. Her eyes were locked with her husband's eyes.
"I'm hungry" Prachi laughed.
"Me too," Milind replied, as he reached in for a kiss.
Prachi moved her face away from his lips.
"I thought you said you were hungry?" Milind questioned.
"Oh my God, Milind! You are too much!" Prachi giggled.
"Thanks."
"You sure seem like you have used these lines before," she stated as she looked into his eyes.
"Prachi. I am a good boy. Do you honestly think that I have ever loved a woman as much as I love you?" he asked.
Now Prachi broke out of his grasp, and moved to the window pretending to admire the beautiful Sydney landscape. She could not help but think about Ayesha.
"What's wrong Prachi?" Milind asked with visible concern in his voice, as he moved closer to Prachi.
Prachi turned towards her husband and hugged him. "Milind I really love you. But…"
"But what Prachi? What do you mean 'but'?"
"Can you really love me with your whole heart? I know you only married me to get revenge on Ayesha. You have told me in the past that she is your true love, and that you can never forget her. Can you really love me? Milind, please tell me the truth. My father broke my mother's heart, and I really don't want to be in a relationship based on a samjotha. I don't want you to feel obliged to be with me because I am your wife. I want you to be with me because you…"
"Shut up Prachi!" Milind yelled, as he moved away from her. He turned away from her, but then instantly turned to face her again. Prachi could see how angry he was.
"Prachi. What the hell is your problem? Do you want to be with Neev? Tell me. Just tell me the f**king truth!" he yelled.
Prachi quickly rushed towards Milind. Acting uncharacteristically aggressive, she grabbed his arms and wrapped them around her own body. She put her hand on his face and looked up at him. "Milind. You know the answer to that. I love you, and only you," she spoke softly.
Milind's anger was subsiding. He sighed and looked down at his wife, "Prachi I love you more than I have ever loved anyone in my life. I am not your father. I will never do what he did. I will love you till the end of time. Kayamath se kayamath tak. My relationship with you is not a compromise. This relationship is the best thing to have ever happened to me. I thought I loved Ayesha and yes I have had other women in my life…but no one has even ranked close in comparison to you. You are my everything Prachi Mishra."
"Sorry Milind," apologized Prachi, as she reached her lips to his for a soft kiss.
Milind laughed, "Prachi Mishra, if you think I am going to let you off the hook so easily, you are mistaken"
Prachi shyly looked down. This time she actually knew what he meant.
