Kyunki's Guru-Shishya ki jodi

Pulkit Samrat (Lakshya from Kyunki) says that he considers Ronit Roy (Mihir) as his mentor. Know more anbout Lakshya's guru!

"Ronit Roy is a guide in acting. He is very senior to me and knows exactly what acting is all about. It is not for nothing that he has done so many serials for the Balaji camp. He is very committed to his to his work, so much so that he even hurt himself while doing one sequence in a serial," says Pulkit, who also considers Smriti Irani as an inspiration.

So has he taken any advice from his mentor regarding acting? "He has not given me any tips as such but I have seen him on the sets and learnt many things. I respect him a lot," reveals Pulkit.

When we told Ronit about his shishya, he was stunned. "Oh God! What are you saying, I'm speechless. He is a very sweet and nice boy. From day one of his shooting, he has been working hard and it is a result of this hard work that he is today well recognised."

Showering praise on Pulkit, Ronit says, "In spite of having a severe back ache, he is still working. He respects his senior actors. What I like about him is his willingness to learn since he entered the serial. In short, he is a very good, committed and hard-working actor."

This is not the first time that a youngster has been inspired by a senior actor. Ejaiz Khan (Varun from Kayamath) boosted Jai Bhanushali's (Neev) confidence on the sets of the serial and now Jai considers Ejaiz as his Guru.
