Man-woman relationship can be very complex but unless at least one party gives in, in the face of problems and is willing to adjust the relationship cannot move on.

Opti u have hit the nail....dont u think divorce rates r more now....i think as everyone r independent and think why they have to adjust so they r just taking the step annulment....and after few yrs they think what blunder they did...when they almost go through some difficulties...

As u said yes in man-woman relationshipr both have to adjust but one have to adjust more than the other...if they dont the relationship wont survive.

i dont think in all cases only woman is adjusting ...man is also adjusting also...but we wont discuss about that...glad u did get this point in this FF.

i really loving this healthy discussion...as so much we r getting to know...and it will indeed help us in future....

one thing i want to tell...weather it i slove marriage or arrange marriage no relation is a bed of roses...everyone have to struggle and make adjustments then only a relationship will survive....if the both patners r compatible and caring and loving for eachother.

yes if any patner is unfaithfull...and sadistic in nature...i support annullment of the marriage.....but not for other reasons...

She wanted a physical relationship and thought her husband wanted it too. Now she knows the position, her understanding is better. Yes, she will wait but she knows that the wait will be worth it because the guy is sincere. There are phases in marriages when physical relationship takes a back seat because of various reasons, doesn't it? Here it is happening in the initial period. But it would be better for her to wait and have a guy who totally loves her than one who is only involved in the act for the sake of it.

Fully agree with you. Men and women are not only physically different but also psychologically different. To compound the problems they would have been raised differently with different backgrounds. Add to it differences in tastes and preferences. Yes, you would have a recipe for disaster unless both parties are willing to make adjustments and compromises.

I personally feel that ego can be the biggest enemy to any relationship. Couples may fight on various issues but if they are unwilling to give in at some point that relationship cannot survive. And yes, it could be the man or the woman or both depending on the situation. Here Milind made a mistake but was quick to apologise as soon as he realised how much he had hurt her. He was genuinely sorry. He opened up and confessed what his problem was. Yes, he did have a past but what sort of a past? A one-sided love affair which according to his own words he has buried. So Prachi atleast does not have to fear the presence of another woman. He is trying to reconcile to the fact that his wife is very far from his concept of ideal woman, but then he realises that he can and will learn to love her for who she is. He is willing to compromise and adjust to save the marriage. So if he can make his adjustments, can Prachi also not help him by waiting for him? Both have a common objective here, that of making their marriage work.

Poor Prachi ... She thought Milind left her because he found her disgusting no wonder the gentle Prachi become cynical. But I am glad Milind told her the real reason of his behavior. And Prachi being the naive girl didn't ask him further question about his dream girl or else thing will be more complicated and I hope with her patience and tenderness Milind's love will rises in her. The update is beautifully written as always Opti ... Can't wait for the next part ....

Yes, Ariska. Her confidence in herself was badly shaken by his act but when she came to know the truth (or atleast whatever Milind told her) she understood him better. Her being dumb helped because she did not probe any further. If she had probed further things could have got complicated because Milind is not good at lying and hates lies. He did not mention about Ayesha till now thinking she would be hurt more but he had to tell her something at leat to justify his strange behaviour. Thanks
