Thanks Rosie. Yes, Milind did not want to confide in Ali a matter so personal as that night's happening. Prachi has always been shown to be naive. She takes things at face value and does not dwell too deeply in anything. Michi, mostly Milind will start working on his relationship and things will start looking up.

What should she have done? He gave her a choice between annulment and continuing in the marriage. She had to chose one or the other. My Prachi does not believe in taking revenge and punishing a person who has realised is mistake and and is deeply sorry for what he did. He had also explained why he did what he did. It showed that he was selfless. His sincerity touched her. Anyway I will touch upon her feelings when all this was happening in the next update. Hope things become clearer then.

Thanks jyothi. Yes, they are strong in their own ways. Prachi giving in so easily may seem her weakness but that is her strength. It takes a strong person to be able to look beyond the weaknesses of the person one loves and believe in the relationship because of the faith she has in that person as well as in her own love. She will reap rich benefits because of this.

Dont know. I am suffering fom terrible headache since yesterday. In fact I finished the last update with my headache at its peak. I dont think I can think of anything with this problem. So until my headache eases, I'll not be able to update.

opti, i feel so guiltly about criticizing milind yesterday. hope i didn't upset you - though i am quite sure you are beyond that by now.
the incident reminded me of an experience my best friend went through some years ago. she was studying management at a hostel, had a boyfriend, they fell in love and he moved into her room. at some point he decided she was not 'wife' material and moved out, and ended the relationship. she was devastated. to her, it would have been understandable if there was another woman involved - but to know that the guy loved her, wanted her, she was available but kept his distance because she was not 'ideal' enough was unfathomable.
i guess prachi is cut from a different cloth.
if i was her, i'd take every night sleeping next to an unresponsive man i loved as a personal rejection. and to be rejected because of a romantic/imaginary ideal would be an ultimate insult. i would have chosen the annulment.
milind is lucky to have such a loving and accepting wife.

No problems Manu. Every one is entitled to their own views. Here Milind was 'unresponsive' not because he cares less for her because he does care and that she had seen on many occassions which I had already covered in my earlier updates. So she did not think he was not interested in her, only that he was very busy with his work. So there was no need for her to feel rejected.
She felt rejected only on two occassions - one the cabaret act when she tried to lure him and the other when he took the initiative and backed out. In the first instance she was hurt but felt to some extent she too went a little overboard. The second occassion was more hurtful because here she did not initiate anything and yet he rejected her after taking the lead. That made her feel miserable about herself and made her question her self-worth. But since she is not the one to openly fight about it she chose to be indifferent to him and when he kept pestering her with the apologies, she lashed out at him and also made those sarcastic remarks. But when she came to know why he did not go ahead with the act, she developed respect for him because he himself had admitted that he found her irresistable but wanted to give her more than jus his body. He honestly admitted that the problem lay with him and not with her and that he was willing to learn to love (unlike your friend's case where he thought she was not wife material).
So given the fact that she loved him so much and that he was honest with her, willing to walk the difficult path of love to give his wife what she truly deserved, she chose what she thought was best for them. So what if she chose to annul the wedding? Would she have got anotehr guy who would have been better than her husband? That is not for sure. But this guy has so far not been wilfully cruel to her, has been caring in his own way and mostly importantly whom she was in love with. She chose to take that risk and the risk paid off well.
