There was a strange restlessness she felt. She couldn't be sure why. The pregnancy was taking its toll. She didn't quiet feel like herself, being sick both physically and emotionally. Her mood swings were something even she couldn't get used to. She wondered if Neev noticed the changes in her too. If he did he never acknowledged it, which made her feel guilty for the tantrums she often threw. He was the ever attentive husband and she was putting him through so much. But today was not like usual. There was something that bothered her. She desperately wanted to believe that it was her maternal instincts being protective of her unborn child from a woman who could be a potential danger. But that wasn't it.. she knew this feeling.. it was a sort of sixth sense..or a warning..that usually made her aware of something about to go terribly wrong'or was it something that had already happened. What could be more wrong than Suyesha trying to kill Saayah. Wasn't that enough bad stuff for one day.

She wanted to get back to Mumbai as soon as possible, where she'd feel safer'with her mother'where the world would seem alright again. "Can you drive any slower" she complained to Neev. "Sure darling" he answered and slowed down as his usual response was to her complain, flashing his smile especially meant to annoy her. He loved it when her cheeks flamed with irritation. He'd always feel like kissing them. But he noticed the tension on her face today. Instead of expressing her irritation she was mumbling something inaudibly which was obviously not meant for him. She was praying.
Neev: "tumhe kya hua hai?"
Ayesha: "Mujhe ghar pohunchna hai."
Neev: "Ghar hi toh jaa rahe hain"
Ayesha: "sometime today! I should have gone with PL instead"
Anjali: "No..i should have gone with PL instead'Can the two of you give me some peace. I knew this was a bad idea." She had purposely avoided going with PL. PL would notice the slightest change in her mood. Though, she wondered now whether after the events of the day PL would be in the mental state to notice anything else wrong.

"Vaise hi problems kam hai jo tum dono bebaat ladte rehte ho." Anjali sounded tired from the back seat.
Neev: "Hum lad thodi rahe hai..hum toh aise hi pyaar karte hain. Lekin tumhe kya problems aa gayi. Tum toh har problem ka solution ho na.." he said jovially trying to make the mood lighter.
Anjali didn't reply. How she wished she could find a solution..something that would help Prachi. She refused to believe that there was no hope. There must be something Prachi had overlooked. After all she had been hiding this truth from everyone. There must be limitations to what she had tried and the doctors she had seen. She'd have to find out more details from Prachi. And now she too wanted to get back home asap.
