nice update hun... had read it long back but forgot to comment!
i love how both the love stories are developing...why do i feel tht there is heartbreak for Alaap and Sukriti in the future😕

Part-13

Milind grabbed the baskets on his way and cursing under his breathe kept those at the back-seat of his car,it had been two weeks since his and prachi's message talk and now everyday there were good morning and good night messages,brief phone calls and ofcourse frequent meetings....they would still disagree at various points be it taste or preferences but that what made their relation interesting.Both the families were going to hang-out at Shivgarh resort for two days and a night...it was actually Milind's plan to cool off his head from those junk of papers and moreover sukriti demanded his attention like hell.Milind looked at Alaap's car honking from the distance and yelled for his family to come downstairs.Sukriti with others came holding another bag which forced Milind ask on their way to the car "we are just spending a night there!"
sukriti beamed at him and said:and two days which you forgot...she took notice of alaap at the doorway coming out from the car and shyly smiled and then gave the bags to Milind and went to greet alaap'a family while Milind scorned so much for future in-laws but then his eyes caught the sight of Prachi looking devastatingly beautiful in lemon color,she smiled at him from inside the car and he titled his head a little in courtesy.The elders greeted each other and then both the sons headed for their way...

Milind purposely chose to follow Alaap's car for the lovely view of her angelic face it provided and what had him gloating was the fact that even she was eager to watch him,he has caught her catching a glimpse of him through her rear-view and everytime their gaze interlocked they both knew it was hardly any friendly and he was silently cursing her for distracting him lest he face any accident.His baba and dadi were continuously discussing how good it feels to be together after so long and stuff like this but what irritated him was the fact that this stupid ride seemed endless and they reached at the resort after what felt him like an eternity...

Everyone moved out from the car towards the reception area except the two hunks who went to park the car.Milind locked the car door and laughed at Alaap's irritatible expression...Alaap exasperatedly said:Prachi forgot to take these...he said lifting his hands in the air each occupied by bags...
Milind laughed and said:i especially reminded sukku to get those with her...
Alaap:well thats very ungentlemanly of you...
Milind dramatically:well i guess it is,but then i never said i was a gentleman and he winked and patted Alaap's broad shoulder...they both laughed and they knew why they liked each others company....

Milind and Alaap reached towards the reception area when dadi said:Milind you are staying with Alaap,Prachi with sukriti and the elders have separate room...an advantage of old age...
Milind with mischief:well i guess them my girlfriend will be alone i might sneak in,what say girlfriend?...he looked at Premlatha which earned him a playful slap...Milind looked towards Inder and found him smiling...Prachi couldnt help but admire him for his amiable nature,she then frowned wasnt she the one who hated him when he flirted with her mother...
Dadi adjusted her glasses:lets be off to the rooms,i am tired to my bones and well children can do whatever they want...she started towards her room but then she stopped,turned around and told Milind:hold the bags and for once be a gentleman...sukriti has been doing it...Alaap give him a i-told-you look and others laughed as Milind groaned....

Minutes later Prachi and Sukriti joined boys in their room while the elders were busy chatting in dadi's room.Sukriti longingly looked at Alaap and reached to the conclusion that more than loving these days they have been arguing over something or the other,Alaap caught her gaze and smiled,a smile full of promise and love.Milind gestured Prachi to come and sit beside him which she agreed silently,he was flipping his mobile when she said:i have always been fond of XPDA but never had one...
Milind incredibly:well you can always have one...!
Prachi smiled and said:yes but it doesnt suits in my hands,it looks....quite manly!
Milind laughed and so did everyone when Alaap said:Milind do you mind if i take sukriti for a walk outside...
Milind became sober and after a moment replied:no...even i was thinking the same lets go and get fresh air...
Prachi felt like banging his head,he knew what her brother wanted and still he managed to manipulate his words without even a crease....
Sukriti gestured Prachi and Alaap to follow her brother and with her eyes said not to create any scene which ofcourse Alaap acknowledged...

Prachi suddenly said to Milind as they were walking in the garden:Milind lets take a stroll towards the other end and before he could decline her offer to be with his sister she held his hand and actually dragged him away and winked at her brother and sukriti,she was so small for him yet she kept tugging at him by holding his hand...Milind asked:you are helping your brother right?
Prachi flashed him her innocent smile which could make heads to turn and said:at last you've got brains and you should do the same you promised me you'll try to understand them...
Milind narrowed his eyes and towered over her:i am!
Prachi wasnt a bit intimidated and said:and i saw!
Milind shrugged and took a step back then it occured to him they were holding hands more like she was holding his hands when he sighed he was again playing the part of pompous ass and then out of blue he threaded his fingers completely with his which turned her into jelly and said:i guess i was again harsh...you are right lets take a walk.Both were holding hands it was a silent arrangement it happened accidentally or unconsciously at first but later they both knew what was coming along,a new level..

Alaap and sukriti were at the backyard with full privacy,he longed at her with so much love that his heart ached and he pulled her into a hug and kept holding her until he felt his shirt getting soaked,he immediately drew her away and asked:whats the matter jaan?
Sukriti wiped them with the back of her hand and said:nothing,its just you dont feel the same way you used to do..
Alaap asked with astonishment:and why do you think that?
Sukriti wistfully:you seem very distant lately,are you seeing someone?she dreaded the answer,her friends told her people grow out of love after sometimes,was Alaap also one of them...when she suddenly was pulled into another hug and all she heard was his laughter and then at that moment she knew she had been a fool when Alaap said:how can i love one and see another...you're silly and yes i have been distant because i have realized i have become a very jealous lover who seems to have a problem with anyone you meet who doesnt come in family and i have been doing that to avoid any further arguments between us,this week all i have done is yelled at you,made you cry so much that i had problem in recognizing you voice...
Sukriti whispered:i love you very much...
Alaap caressed her head and replied:i know and it seems i have been taking you for granted..
Sukriti:will you now take me to your college's re-union?i cant even imagine anyone else accompanying you other than me...i guess i have been taking after you...
Alaap smiled and said:dont worry i'll be going alone,no date!but no,i wont take you....those parties are not for you,its in the disc...thats the last place i want you to be...
Sukriti looked up into his eyes and said:just remember i love you too much,before being swayed by any beautiful girl there remember i have not only given you my heart but also my trust,trust is really fragile never break it...
Alaap checked her cheeks and said:you sound terribly worried jaan,its you who i desire and love.....its you!

Prachi sat with Milind facing the swimming pool on the bench aware of the fact that their hands were still intertwined when suddenly Milind asked:you like music right?
Prachi nodded and said:i love Rahat fateh ali khan's song,it just is so soulful and you..
Milind smiled:no i dont like his music...all i like is pop and that too not Indian...
Prachi formed an "o"shape,she was about to argue but stopped herself in time and asked:you have quite an outlandish in london?
Milind looked at her lips then into her eyes and smiled:no,i would say outrageous....
Prachi became silent while Milind checked out the babes in the pool and when Prachi registered this she poked her elbow in his ribs and said:stop it!
Milind laughed and said:what?i am just one of the admirer of the beauty...
Prachi glared at him and when she saw his lips curving she knew he was jesting with her...

Dadi held Premlatha's hand and said:talk to her about Milind,i cant wait more.....

hmmm marriage is getting closer and closer! wonder whether M is "really" ready to give up his freedom!
why do i get a very bad feeling abt the convo between Alaap and Sukriti, abt cheating and all?😕
