Milind carelessly threw his briefcase on bed and started tugging at his tie,he has been in his black mood all day and all thanks to his and Prachi's quarrel earlier,it wasn't he was dying to redo his actions but somehow the fear and wetness in her eyes undid something in him....all she asked was just little consideration to sukriti's feeling and heck he has been a jerk to her.He threw his tie and immediately went to search for her in the house and then it dawned upon him she wasn't even anywhere near the premises...god! what a terrible-shallow-jerk he was!He rushed to sukriti's room in a dash and found her cleaning her room...
Milind made his way inside and said in a loud tone:sukriti!
Sukriti got startled and immediately the vase she was holding earlier in one piece was shattered into many,she looked towards Milind and said accusingly:now see what you did bhaiya,what is it...i am just standing a nano cm away so you neednt shout!and with that she bent down to gather the broken pieces....
Milind shook his head and muttered a mute apology and started helping her,he asked in between:i want Prach's number!
sukriti stopped her task for once and looked at him quizzically:why?
Milind breathed and said:just give me!
sukriti boring her eyes at him:and why exactly i want to know!
Milind skeptically:because i think i shoud have her number!
sukriti raised one eye-brow:why?
Milind sighed and counted to ten then said:you know i love you alot but you also know when you play this nancy drew's game i hate you alot...just give me her damn number!
sukriti resumed collecting the broken glass pieces and Milind also did the same as soon As he got the clue when she said:i dont think you should have her number!
Milind groaned:what the f- he stopped when he saw sukriti with her shooting glare..
sukriti glared:no blasphemy!
Milind guilty:sorry...i really want her number!...she smiled at him knowing maybe for the world he was the tuff mishra but infront of her he was someone with his own vulnerability...
sukriti amiably:okay...i dont remember her number,take it from my cell...
Milind sighed at last:by which name?

suddenly Milind got up and took her mobile and extracted Prachi's number and punched it on his keypad,he was about to exit when sukriti shouted:who will clean this?
Milind looked back at her....his sister was a sight when he winked and said:YOU!and with that he left her room....
Prachi sat down numbly fingering the pattern on her dupatta,why was she still affected by his insult?he was a no-one,a complete no-one...she had cried alot after him but she wont now!her cell blinked and then she noticed she had kept her cell on silent mode,the number was unknown so she immediately picked it up!
Prachi:hello...
Milind with careful tone:hey!Prachi....
Prachi sucked a breathe in...she couldnt possibly mistake his voice...it was him when he said:i am sorry for the morning...!
suddenly Prachi found her dried tears becoming fresh again,wasnt it was a minute Ago when she decided she wont cry for him or becAuse of him...god!this was her one quality she despised most,crying at every other opportunity...she knew it was much better if she only listein rather speak....
Milind with remorse:i am sorry i hurt you and it hAppens All the time,i wouldnt say it wont happen again because i know its something which is quite repititive but i can surely promise i will try to lessen my anger down...
Prachi wiped her tears with the back of her hands And smiled,he was truly sorry and said:its okay only if you promise you'll keep your anger in check from this time forward..
Milind sighed happily:And As you know my favourite word is "try."...
Prachi laughed and said:yes i surely know....And then she stopped,followed by a moments silence which irked both.....it was awkward yet so charming...
Milind smugly:well i'll try to understand sukriti and alaap's relation too....
Prachi:i am glad Atleast you gave the matter your thought...
Milind:i said i'll try to understand and man if any matter involves fAir sex's tears then its worth acknowledging...
Prachi smiled And changed the topic And asked:so how was your day?
Milind relaxing on his bed:well dont ask...i was so upset because of the morning mishap that i spoiled and wasted my whole day...

Prachi hiding her disappointment:okay...he hung up....PrAchi looked At her cell-phone And knew she was disAppointed he hung up and smiled atleAst he cAred enough to call,she saved his number on her cell as "NRI"......
AlAap was brooding all day,yesterday his pAssion went up the flames for one girl whom he couldnt afford to hurt at any cost and to top the charts they couldnt meet today when he needed her so much,it wasnt that they meet everydAy but somehow After yesterday it was a necessity...man,how desperately he wished that she can get over with her graduation so that he could mArry her....marry?he almost smiled yes,they'll be married And it wont be a problem since their families bonded too well....After marriage she will be his,all his..but before dreAming All this he need to tell her he had a fight today...at its remembrAnce he almost went into fury,he knew he shouldnt tell her but he also knew she deserved to know every incdent of his life small or not...before his thoughts could wander more he called her....
