She may seem arrogant, but appearances are deceptive.

We are talking about Resshmi Ghosh aka Bhoomi of Kyunkii Saas...for whom the glamour industry happened purely by chance. "Since I belong to a service class family, this glamour industry was a complete 'No-No' to my father. Whatever I am today is 'coz of my mother. She wanted to become an actress but couldn't because of dad's unwillingness. She is the one who fought with him for my career. My mom is living her dream through me."

Talking about her television career, Resshmi says she has no regrets when it comes to portraying a negative shade in each of her characters. "I don't want to be drab in my acting style like Tulsi, Prerna or Parvati. I think I'm an excellent actress and more versatile than any of the mentioned ladies."

Another similarity that one notices in all her characters is her oomph. "Ekta has always wanted me to look the way I'm in my serials from the very first day. And that is the reason why all my characters have been from well-to-do and elite families."

Like other TV actors, Resshmi too is equally excited about her first dance reality show Bollywood Ka Ticket, but the lady confesses that she is still not used to such hectic schedules. "Although I love dancing and enjoy it a lot, I'm not able to cope with the shooting hours." Is that the reason why she fainted twice on the sets? "Not exactly. I fainted because of the kind of food that we are given. It is hopeless

It is good to be confident but not over confident. Sanju is good and knows she is good. Panchi is good but she is very humble when she speaks, giving the credit to the co-stars for her performance. Resshmi on the other hand is not good but thinks she is. Now that will not get her anywhere because the learning stops if you think you are excellent and certainly she needs a lot of learning.

..reshmi needs an extensive reality check....also needs to know that a word called "modesty" exists ..

this is really sad .................calling yourself good is your own business but demeaning others that too the mentioned ladies the characters they play are iconic and have single handedly garnered accolades for their performance and their show.......................we may mock fun at the characters but a relatively new comer calling herself much better than them is higly inappropriate...............i agree with GD she needs to understand the meaning of modesty

All i can say is Sangath ka asaar,,,,see she did a show with twinkle who is just tooo over-confident and reshmi just rubbed some of it from twinkle.

But how come she say Tulasi,Parvati and Prerana characters r not versalite than her characters or acting.

One thing i want to ask is she the one who is carrying these above mentioned leading ladies shows on her shoulders.

Or will we be soon hearing that shabbo and she r the leading pair of KYM.

I am so thank full to her that shedint say that she can outsmart Ektha as she is from elite family.

One thing i dint got why is Reshmi and Twinkle r stressing more on their families than their acting skills.

Sumu, how can they stress on something they do not have, I mean acting skills? Instead they are stressing on their family background, as though the rest of them haven't any. I think more than talk their actions should speak for themselves. But then it is the same Twinkle who walked out of a show has been brought back by the production house. So maybe it pays to be arrogant.

Opti agree with u.But i wonder when r these people become confident than over-confident...as with over-confidence one cant get long run success and that too in tellyworld where new talents were always welcomed.

I too agree with u as twinkle was brought back to the reality show.....Arrogance is definetly paying them as the same girl dint think twice before giving back her answers to the judges...i was shocked why dint the judges oppose on her re-entry.

So i think reshmi too was showing arrogence as it is paying for some .....

Opti i think we have to wait for some of her interviews in future hope we wont get to see more arrogence and over-confiddent interviews .

In the last all i can say Opti is hardwork and devotion towards the work will pay u in the longrun.

Even i never read any over-confident interviews of sanjeeda,shabbo,panchi,jaiand may more who were successfull.
