To Gather more audiences, do three things :

I find it funny, how after each interview or reveal, sony manages to piss off the fans even more. They revealed Manish Raisinghan as "Love interest of Katha". Who do they think will be interested in watching the "Love interest of Katha".
I mean they could have just kept his identity secret or anything but, they gave worst possible description to piss off the fans. They could have just said Manish Raisinghan is joining Katha Ankahee don't know his role yet. Don't know what to say.
Seems like Aditi is pissed off. But Kya karrey job hai.
I can agree with the need for time lapse, but sending Viaan to jail was the worst possible way to bring it about. It hasn't really served any purpose except to piss off the audience. You can have a clean breakup without one of you ending up incarcerated. Or was that a means to somehow, in a very convoluted way give a clean slate to Viaan for that ONS? Even the most staunch opposers would now agree that he has more than paid for that one mistake.

There wasn't any other way of leap. Viaan would not leave, Katha can't leave the town so, this was the only way. And, now, no one can say Viaan didn't repent enough.
But, thing is that, in reality, anyone will move on but, its a show, so, we can expect them to unite as Aditi said in the article . I would not like to see Viaan going after Katha "hey lets marry". I can see him in love with Katha and remembering her and time spent with her. Katha might make first move because she feels guilty for being harsh on Viaan. At the end of the day, circumstances will push them togather like it happened before.

I don't think anyone has problem with separation. Everyone is reacting on Kathas absurd behavior so her assurance is futile . Everyone already knows it's Katha Viaans story and will revolve around them

When the makers and channel has got into the game of pulling the mass audience ..story is bound to suffer and so are the lead characters!! So now onwards won't waste time finding logic ....will only enjoy the performances of Aditi and Adnan.And don't know how these boring yoga classes which are dragged for some mins would attract more viewers?? I'm sceptical as to how much screen space Adnan will have with the arrival of the new entry.Maya was also a side character but she ate away most of the screen space. And this new entry is Katha's love interest and Aarav's most loved person .. so it's obvious that he will be in most part of the episode. Serious Headache loading for me!!

The actor himself revealed that he is coming as parallel lead . If they have mentioned to play a pivotal role , would have understood . The role is of child specialist doctor who will get hitched to Katha . Wow !! Don’t know they gets married or not , I will not be surprised if that happens as well on the name of Aarav . But I don’t get what circumstances will happen that Katha and Viaan paths will cross . Not clear exactly as what story they are going to tell . The pre leap story was based on ONS , so kind of expected how things may pan out . But now have no idea . Also if they moved after 8 months , what will happen that they will have to get back . But even then if we know Katha , if she is engaged ( let’s say not married ) , will she come back to him . No , she will try to make him to move on in his life . It’s messed up . Don’t know how long this new character will stay . Even if by minimum standards I feel 2 months , but can be longer easily . Let’s say his entry is by next week , so I assume he will be till Dec for sure . Don’t think he will sacrifice his love if starts liking , by TV standards , he will try to get back to her by creating MU between them . Who knows he may even try to harm Aarav later to blackmail her . Sorry many thoughts are coming in mind. Garewals will also make a comeback at some stage and more MUs. I would wish them to rush .
Anyway leave it to makers . I am not interested any more .
