I would like vian to support his mom and not given into this rubbish that has been fed into his head. Seema is still the other woman , who fell in love with a married man.

Dont get me started on viraj - after so many years of marriage he ups n decides to leave cos of love - utter rubbish. He was selfish to leave his son in a unhappy home. What did he expect a unhappy mother bringing him up alone. Failed father.

I do not want vian going against his mom on this topic.

Teju was not wrong in refusing " divorce " but was wrong to deny Viaan his father!

Whatever happens Viaan will be always with his mother , there should be room for " communication " in any relationship, ! He can discuss his views with her , there is nothing wrong in it .

That is healthy relationship.

Totally agree with your sentiment. I felt the same way. The reasons were not strong enough. BS story, BS logic.

Teji was definitely not wrong and she had every right to behave the way she did...she was after all Viraj's legally wedded wife and the Mother of his child...damn it...how can they expect us to believe the other woman to be given the same respect...Viraj went ahead and had an extra marital affair with Seema Dutta and even Fathered her child when all the while he was married to Teji...and he was not even some common middle class man employed in a Govt company fearing how he would feed his 2nd wife and child....what the heck...he was multi millionaire running his own company for sure he would have figured a way out. and those who feel Viaan was denied his Father's love is all hogwash...if Viraj was so concerned he would not have gone away leaving his son all alone with his Mom at such a young age that the child could not even figure out what was happening in his life and suffered all this while.

We are from a society where most of the time love takes a back seat when responsibilities and family take precedence This falling out of love are nowadays high society fashion and sadly affecting all strata of society leading to rise in divorce cases and children are the ones who suffer the most.

I don't know how to feel about this Seema Dutta thing. It feels so off. I don't think the writers handled this well. It didn't happen in the original series like this and i don't know why they glorified an affair here. That's what it was as long as he was legally married.

They could have acknowledged Vanya's existence while acknowledging the parents mistakes as well. There was no need to white wash something that was fundementally wrong.

Even if the marriage is empty, as long as it exists, any other relationship will be considered immoral..

I am no longer watching this show. I have a doubt did viaan dad left them after having EMA and having a kid? Or he wanted a divorce because he is in love with another woman and viaans mother didn’t give him one, so he had EMA?

Because for me, falling out of love with wife and fell in love with another woman is ok as far as he doesn’t cheat and continue giving child support. We can’t force anyone to be in marriage.

It is hard truth of life that for making relationship, it require two people consent but for breaking relationship only one people consent is enough.

You can say Viraj is selfish but Viraj and Teji relationship was not working for sometimes, probably years. They might be staying together only for Viaan and Teji one sided love. When seema entered into Viraaj life, he thought he also has the right to live happily rather than staying in bad marriage. Things don't go well, of course Teji is of no fault. More than 16 years of marriage, no woman will be able to digest it. What Teji did is to use her child to force Viraj to come back. Again Teji is no wrong. While Man has money to offer to his second wife, woman at Teji's age has nothing to offer to new husband. The best possible way is to emotional blackmail Viraj that if he left, he will not be able to meet his son.

Viaan should understand this after all he also not able take No from Katha. Viaan did a grave mistake in his life at the age of 32-33. What Teji did is nothing in front of what Viaan did. Instead Viaan is blaming Teji for his own grave mistake. He think what he become is because of mother. That's not true. Teji never taught Viaan wrong thing. He never taught Viaan to disrespect woman. Instead she opened NGO especially for women. What Viaan did to Katha, it is his own thinking. No one is responsible for his ONS offer other than himself. It is said if a person under 20 do some mistake, half of the responsibility goes to parent. But Viaan was at his 30. 10 year is enough to change ideology and personality. Viaan was 15 when his father left Again this is not tender age which would affect him so badly that gives him traumatic experience. Viaan should not blame Teji for his own mistake.
