we all know that love or lack of love is not what causes longevity in marriage. as ruchita pointed out, it is actually respect. once a spouse has no respect for the other, the marriage is essentially dead and becomes increasingly toxic. teji is still in love with her husband but she also hates him. so all this chatter about love is totally bakwas.

viraj and teji did not fall out of love -- instead they hated and despised each other for who knows how long. that was the actual issue and that spilled over into their relationship with viaan and his outlook towards women.

in reality, a love marriage does not mean people don't get divorced or start hating each other. viraj and seema could have also started hating each other after a few years. who knows. so how they met is irrelevant to the success or failure of the relationship -- it is about what people put in to the relationship and what they can and cannot tolerate.

the implication that viaan and katha are in love and therefore perfect together just gets me facepalm. the justification that viraj and seema are in love and therefore, it is okay to have an affair is just off. it feels like a side swipe at the other serials where people fall in love after they get arranged marriage.

Yup agree that only love isn't enough. There is also a compatibility factor. There is understanding and there respect. Which is why it is important that people have difficult conversations early on. Which clearly Teji and Viraj didn't. Again this isn't about love vs arrange marriage. I can see why the post gave that impression but it wasn't my intention. It is more about how much do you understand your partner before tying the knot. Even after everything, marriage is still a kind of gamble.

love itself is gamble if we look at true crime. I watch too much of it but in true crime, the top 3 reasons are -- love, money, love & money. in a majority of cases, crime is done by someone known. isn't that sad? in the name of love, all sorts of crimes are committed including stalking, harassment, blackmail, murder.

so the writers annoy me with this constant glorification of love. that would work if we had a story about a bunch of teenagers. we have a 30 something couple who should be mature. are they still so googly eyed about love? viaan with his constant "I have seen the light" cultish dialogue with katha and now, this "saccha wala pyaar". 🙄

what is surprising is that masala dramas on sitara are more mature when it comes to writing about marriages falling apart and affairs happening 😂 - there is a lot more than nuance and explanation than "saccha wala pyaar"

so for all the fan praise about the drama, KA is shallow, teenage infatuation maturity level writing.

Adithi's another serial " Silsila " was heart breaking she played the lead role as a wife who was cheated by her husband ( both were like soul mates love marriage )

That too with her best friend whomnshe gave refuge in her house ( best friend) saved her from abusive husband

It was so geart breaking to see how Aditi emotes the role of a wife. Who suddenly came to know the " depth of cheating "

The " betrayal "

The forum was used to be on" fire 🔥" There was literally " war" going on at times 🤣telling " true love " nonsense 🤣

YES!! Viaan has merely become a puppet to Katha who is playing God right now. She will find the truth playing detective, she will provide judgement which Viaan has to execute. don't you know -- viaan joined the katha cult long ago. his memory was swapped and he no longer remembered the dark night or any other trauma. he was miraculously healed from all his ill feeling towards women. maybe katha gave him some crystal we didn't know but apparently she mind numbed all the bad thoughts in his head. then on, he became a saint and was no longer angry. even if someone hurt him like shamita, he would cry and then nod and say, "lets be friends." katha is his guru and mentor -- he is a cult follower. so whatever she says, he follows. he is no longer CEO. katha is.

now, he will tell vanya, "lets be friends" 🤣

Vaanya also will become officially " katha cult " follower soon
