She called Viaan especially since she wanted to discuss things with him (not professional )

Then made a sada hua face and behaved as if Viaan is thinking wrong that she wanted to talk about something other than work ,is she Jenny who called to confirm appointments 🤣

Sorry i don't think anyone can suffocate her , i dont feel her pain

Rather an advice for Viaan you already have a Tejji in ur house

The OG Tulsi, Parvati, Prerna are anyday better than ALL the current ITV FLs😆.....those shows were called regressive but those women all had a CLEAR moral compass - they didn't create alternate realities and delusions in their head to blindly blame and scapegoat people to hide their own shortcomings. Characters used to have misunderstandings back then but they didn't go running around being casually nasty and lying to each other for no reason. Dialogues used to be much stronger back then too unlike the half-baked flip-flopping dialogues of FLs these days.

Those women were TRULY strong both mentally and emotionally....they used to balance their vulnerabilities with their strengths even while navigating crazy melodrama😆....that is why they are iconic and still remembered by so many people. Aaj kal ki ITV FLs are all just token plot devices mouthing inane dialogues.

Not watched any of the OG shows so can't comment on the FLs from that era!

But after today's episode, I can say that Katha desperately needs to spend some quality time all alone with herself... so she can clear her head and stop behaving in an irrational and immature manner, mixing up her personal and professional life and being mean and petty towards Viaan just because she knows very well that she can get away with it. I think Viaan needs to really step away from her, give her space the size of a foot ball field and stop googling how to be her son's father.

I think Viaan should just go become a monk now😆!!

LOL wasn't he already living like a monk for most of his life before he met Katha?😆....ab waapis monk banne se toh raha Viaan....The ever famous Jugnu ki roshni mein monkhood possible nahin😆

Actually Katha today still showed some empathy in parts....lol I thought it was just going to be all one-note/no self-reflection zone from her as usual but today she showed some moments of feeling like she crossed a line and said too much to him. The initial scene in Viaan's cabin was just her usual fishing for info type....lol I still marvel at how THOUGHTFULLY she creates a facade to ask her questions....lol kaise casually bacchon ke baare mein puchh ke she then turned it around to asking him about his baccha dost....lol and then the way she managed to insert some mocking taunts in between that yeh kaisi dosti hai jahaan naam hi nahin pataa and sarcastically saying ki mil lena chahiye tha uski Maa se....lol madam khud bhaag ke aa gayi wahaan se but sunaa Viaan ko rahi hai....anyways.

The second scene with the discussion around playgrounds in the Lonavla project was a bit better balanced....it drew a contrast in their approach to children/parenting. Katha is very protective of her child and her thoughts are all focused on how to prevent any hazards for her kid (let's ignore the part where she was never interested in her kid talking to a stranger at the sports club....lol)...and Viaan's approach was built upon how he felt as a child and the space/adventures he craved for....it comes back to the same basic conflict between them....Katha thinks from the mind of a mother/parent while Viaan thinks from the mind of the child/son....this is a by-product of their experiences in life. I didn't expect Katha to care that Viaan felt hurt by her words but this time she surprisingly noticed😆....and it bothered her😆....she literally saw him deflating before her eyes and she instantly had that regret on her face but then didn't even know what to say to him😆

However it happened, Katha has ended up making Viaan reflect on fatherhood on a deeper level....yes, he's still googling his way through it😆....but beyond that, he's genuinely trying to gather information and isn't that how most new fathers start anyways....there is no crash course to it but you try to gather information as you can. Again, I have to marvel at the sincerity in this guy....no matter what happens, he will make a SINCERE effort to achieve his goal....and his goal right now is to get the best understanding of fatherhood....lol

Stepping away from each other is not the solution for these two....they need to give each other a push from time to time to become better versions of themselves. If only the execution of that was more consistent in the story....lol oh well.

When jugnu starts stinging you constantly you better learn to admire from a distance🤣!

Viaan in love is clueless…otherwise the way Katha was quizzing, digging and taunting him should have made him wonder…though I agree she tried to make it all oh so casual😆! And it was actually quite funny when he stumped her again, how she scuttled off from his room like there was a house on fire🤣

BoldColored Text… I like how you interpreted it! I am all for discussion and debate between them…infact I have been wanting to see them having disagreements on a professional front cause they have been too much in sync till now. What I didn’t like was the tone Katha adopts with Viaan & the fact that she made it personal. While I totally get her objection to the project but she went on the offensive because she was so messed up about his closeness to her son. Her objectivity goes for a toss when she is around him.

Which is exactly why I feel she needs some distance from this onslaught of Viaan’s R daily dose of goodness.

Viaan is really a child at heart…he thinks he will learn to be a good father by googling, taking notes and doing a step by step program on fatherhood…😳🤣!!

Stepping away from each other is not the solution for these two....they need to give each other a push from time to time to become better versions of themselves. If only the execution of that was more consistent in the story....lol oh well.

I really feel they need distance for Katha to get some clarity. She is on an emotional roller coaster since quite some time and it shows in her behaviour and taunts towards Viaan. Absence can be the biggest catalyst to truly understand the significance of a person who is close to you. Right now she takes Viaan’s attention, concern, consideration, availability & understanding all for granted. I really want to see how she will react and feel if he withdraws or goes away for a while.

Yes…she did realise she hurt his feelings and then walked away leaving him looking so crumpled. But she is reflecting in the precap so let’s see what she does about it. For all you know when she sees him with all those books on fatherhood around him she may become even more insecure and jump him again 😆!!

The distance twist will also come eventually....they will definitely do some drama around Viaan either being absent for a bit or maybe giving her the silent treatment for a bit....but the approach has to be a mix of factors....if you leave Katha totally to herself, she will retreat into her bubble and convince herself that she was always right to think that her world is only her and Aarav - no place for anyone else. The kind of person that Katha is - denial not only runs deep, she also has distractions like Aarav to retreat into.

As for her tone....lol she has been like that in the office setting since a while...she loves to use her Mommy card whenever she can to explain her perspective. Yes, no doubt there was an undercurrent of her trying to be defensive with touting that she has more parental experience than Viaan does but I think this particular scene wasn't her trying to actively dismiss Viaan....she did that more in the morning scene when she was fishing for info. This scene ended up being a jumble of factors with her overprotective mom side mixing up with her architect side. Since personal and professional anyways has gotten tangled up for KV, aise sparks toh hote rahenge time to time....lol but what was interesting as usual was the way Viaan handled it - he again said that he will totally back off from the project if she doesn't want his inputs and Katha again was the one who was like no, it's your company, your project - only the vision is mine😆. I have to laugh cuz he offers her plenty of chances to go solo on the project but she also doesn't let him fully cut off😆

She's a confused aatma and will make everyone take a merry ride on this rollercoaster with her....no one will be spared😆

Nice perspectives again from everyone.

My suggestion to Viaan after seeing yesterday's episode is that no amount of googling and reading up is going to prepare you for parenthood (I can tell from experience!) Theory is theory and experiencing it is a whole different ball game.

Viaan is such a sincere student. Maybe, he should look for a surrogate mother and go through the whole pregnancy, delivery and parenting process first hand. While doing this, he will forget Katha and Aarav and start falling for the surrogate mother and baby. Will make for an interesting twist 🤣

Just kidding 😊

@bold: I think Viaan already knows that on some level that all the googling in the world can't compensate for the actual practical experience of parenthood....but he doesn't see any other way to gather information right now since Katha hasn't allowed him any access into her or her child's life. Only we as the audience are aware that Viaan has already managed to get some practical experience in being that fatherly figure to Aarav with all their bonding at the sports club. Viaan is trying to work with the information he has right now😆

Katha is looking for excuses to dismiss Viaan as a person and this is just the latest opportunity regarding that....she wants to dismiss him by saying he doesn't know what it feels like to parent a child right from birth, suffer those sleepless nights etc....but Viaan is unwittingly managing to demonstrate that fatherly love for Aarav without realizing it - hence proving Katha's theory wrong that he cannot really understand parenthood....as if there is one straightforward definition for it. Parenthood is just as much those sleepless nights of rocking your baby as much as it is teaching your kid how to ride a bike.

True.

If Adi were to come back today (by some twist of ITV), he may find it difficult to suddenly bond with an 8-year old. He will need time and patience. For Viaan-Aarav it has happened already.

No, in Adi's case, the rules will change😆....he will get the benefit of doubt of having a blood bond with the child even if he's spent 8 years apart. But Viaan will not be given any regard for trying to make a genuine effort to bond with a child he isn't related to by blood.

Bottom line is that parenthood comes in all kinds of shades....every shade is special in its own way. The problem starts when people try to glorify one shade at the cost of pulling down the other....rather than giving regard to each shade on its own.
