A show does not lose steam this early on, which is why I'm confused. Like I said previously, the kind of dragging and no interactions between the leads is strange even for ITV standards. But then again, it is only 46 episodes which is not much. Perhaps they have more power packed episodes planned for the future. for the sake of Adnan and aditi, I hope there are better things coming because they are so talented.

also, another point I was meaning to talk about.

There is this narrative that Katha is only harsh towards Viaan and not anyone else but when katha even interact with viaan?

She put across her terms prior to returning, which is understandable. other than that, she mostly ignores viaan and exists in her own world. I liked that she put aside her grievances and called Viaan down for the photoshoot because he had every right to be there. if this was any other show, writers would have used Katha's anger to initiate more interactions between them but that is not the case here.

We have to keep patience thats the only thing we can do as of now.

I watched OG from apology to Viaan's love confession and I couldn't watch each and every episode that much boring it was during this phase.

The reason being that during this phase in OG also there was no much katha viaan scenes. Lots of screen space was given to garewals. In fact another character was added to garewals. Reet have brought her brother or something like that and he was a fraud or planning something with yuvraj. I dont know in details as i ff it. Then we had rewa returning and sharing her feelings for ehsan to katha and she is jealous of ehsan giving all attention to katha.

Apart from this we didn't have any scene with lead pair. Viaan there was just like here, observing katha from far, getting jealous of ehsan and slowly realising his love for her.

So till viaan realise his feelings there will be no much progress in the story and side characters will keep coming in limelight.

Leads are not even looking at each other ,

Viaan headless charged with guilt

Me clueless , confused and surprised looking at the characters ... I don’t know what am I watching

My interest lies with Katha , Viaan & Aarav to some extent rest MamaG & rest G family etc are ... I am fed up os leads getting less time on screen together m

Yesterday I forced to watch ... today see how it goes

In OG also it was a boring phase. Till viaan realise his feelings nothing much going to happen between them. No tense or even light scenes between them.

We will be getting overdose of garewals with their ghar ki ramayan where reet will try to manipulate everyone and in office ehsan doing all crazy things in the name of friendship.

Here atleast we got aarav viaan friendship but there was no such thing in og. But yes, there rewa jad returned so we got to know her perspective about ehsan katha drama. Rewa was clearly jealous. She voiced it out to katha and katha clarified that she only considers ehsan as friend. She even backed out from jaisalmer project where ehsan wanted to take her.

There ehsan had clearly told viaan that he loves katha. And viaan kind of back stabbed him😆 when he proposed katha. After that only he told to ehsan😆

During this whole phase there are hardly any viaan katha scenes. So i guess we have to bear it here also.

Also Viaan dancing is actually so out of character. Didn't Jeetu Bhai just say he doesn't like taking the spot light?

I would have liked him to be the silent guy (who cracks jokes and all with his employees at times but with a straight face or a slight smile)

But doing straight up choreographies with his female employees seems SO OFF.

And yes, the lack of interaction is making it so exhausting. I think the last episode I watched completely was the one where Aarav was lost. Otherwise I'm literally fast forwarding.

Not sure how much twitter fans would be of help! Hopefully something good happens soon

But i think thats what bothering makers. In this phase ther can be no direct katha viaan interactions so how do they make this happen when katha will notice Viaan's lighter side and viaan will start to come out of his guilt and start living normally again. In OG they didn't have anything like that but thanks to itv standards, they have this concept of parties and festival celebration where no one judges the characters, all is allowed as long as viewers are entertained😆 so they are bringing this up, to keep viewers hook to the show. Otherowyits very difficult till viaan confess his feelings.

Only thing is, sony is not that patient and neither are the audience.

I dont mind. I am actually enjoying this slow burn. Because of the by & large good writing, detailing and great acting, we are getting very nuanced scenes, gradual realisations creeping up on the leads & subtle non-dramatic behaviour, all of which is so much more realistic & refreshing compared to other shows. It is like reading an epic rather than a novel.
