Does something look familiar here?

Ok, I've only been watching Kasturi for abt 2 weeks now and I have come to the conlcusion that this drama is Kaisa Yeh Pyar Hai: PART 2.

Look at the similarities here:

1. Angad was a rockstar.....Robbis a rockstar

2. Naina was controlling Angad's professional/personal life........Devika is controlling Robbie's professional/personal life.

3. Kripa was a simple, plain jain middle class girl who falls in love with the rockstar Angad........Kasturi is a simple, plain jain middle class girl who falls in love with the rockstar Robbie.

4. When Kripa found out what player/playboy Angad was (saw him in a room with a girl), her feeling's for him changed and she started hating him.........Kasturi finds out what a player/playboy Robbie is (saw him in his car with a girl), her feelings for him change and starts hating him.

5. Kripa changed Angad's view/perspective on "love"......Kasturi changed Robbies view/perspective on "love".

6. Naina hated Kripa and thought she wasn't worth Angad.......Devika hates Kasturi and thinks she isn't worthy of Robbie.

7. Angad has Kartik as his side-kick whose his brother.....Robbie has Ronak has his side-kick whose LIKE his brother (which there's a mystery there as well).

Now's here my prediction of what will happen taking all these similarities into account:

Like angad and kripa, robbie and kasturi's relationship and happy days are gonna be short-lived. In the heat of the moment, robbie and kasturi will have a one-night-stand (but off course that's not what they call it)....just like angad and kripa did. Then soon, devika will start instigating robbie against kasturi and entangle kasturi in her evil plan and make her look bad infront of Robbie. In the meantime, just like kripa, kasturi will find out she's pregnant with robbie's baby. She will tell him this and he will in turn deny fathering the baby and say its ronak's baby not his (as angad did saying it was prithvi's baby not his) when in actuallity he knows its really his.

Kasturi's family will find out and disown her (as did Kripa's). She will be all alone with no place to go. Robbie will agree to marry Ishita (as angad agreed to marry mishti). In the heat of all this and at the last minute of the wedding, Robbie will find out the truth abt Kasturi and that she was innocent all along. Because of robbie, kasturi will have a miscarriage (as did kripa when she got trampelled by the crowd following angad on his way over to kripa.

Robbie will reach the hospital but it will be too late (just like angad did) and by then Kasturi will hate robbie and blame him for having the miscarriage. And then Kasturi will start a new life with the support of Ronak (as kripa did with the support of Prithvi). And then We have the robbie/kasturi/ronak love triangle as we did with angad/kripa/prithvi. And the story goes one....

Tell me, can any of you not see this story repeating. I mean, common' its an ekta show after all...have we ever seen anything new, original, and unpredictable in her serials.

Who agrees?

I'd be utterly disappointed if that all were to happen. I can only say that much. But u're right. So far, there have been strong comparisons been drawn from KYPH and your points are quite valid.

i hope not..plzzzzzzzzz...i m afraid its gonna be similar 2 this but gawd this is the only drama i watch and enjoy...i dun wanan stop watching it cuz of ekta's messed up stories......arghhhhhhhhh i want 2 watch robby everyday 😳

Totally agree....

It is KYPH 2... but with no changes (so far 😭 ).

Story line is just the same... lets see if the creatives will tread on a different path now that the initial story line has been established.

I hope they show an actual love story for a change rather than - like they do in all K serials.

i also think Kasturi is along the lines of KYPH but will lil changes..i remember ekta telling in articles tht, she doent understand why KYPH went down in TRp's even the concept is very new and fresh..

so i think she wants to use the same concept but change lil things...like robbies mom and dad relation..Kasturi family issues...and things as such...😳

Hey I totally agree with u - its jus like Kyph!!! so many similarities - ekta choried from her own show! 😆 I realised it was the same when I saw like the first clip. I havent watched kasturi from the beginning but I have 2 admit I have been watching clips of RK 😳 and there definately is some chem between the 2 😳 they make a lovely couple. I hope this turns in2 sumthin diff because otherwise its jus really kyph in disguise with new characters but the same sort of plot with minor changes

I definitely dont to c another KYPH! till nw it has been very similar to kyph, i jst hope it doesnt show ne more similarities...
