Hey Kay Just read the first part of your FF and it was great i liked the way you described the characters the fight between tanu and naveent was so funny it reminded me of my two sis who fight over little things lol poor Kasturi she broke the glass wonder what devika going to do now anyways great part

wow kAY!!!! your writing a fan fic... i cant tell you how proud and happy i am for you....way to gooo kiddo.....👏 Cant tell you how good it feels to see younge girls writing fanfics...for the talent in all of you younge girls puts me to shame😳 i'm beyound impressed with how you started your first part..alot of thought went into this... i luved how you brought in the smell part..(i'm huge on smell like you know😆) and i love how robbie is a businessman (totally suits him) and i luved how you described devika cant wait to read how you dev. her character😉

Part 2- Something new......... for everyone?

Devika looked at Kasturi from top to bottom, she was too busy with her phone call, she didn't stop and carried on talking into the phone and walked off. Kasturi felt a slight shiver, she could not believe what just happned. 'Great I just had to be so clumsy in front of none other than Devika Sabarwal, wah Kasturi abh toh teri naukri pakhi!' she thought to herself in a sarcastic manner.

'Kasturi Chawla you may go in' Devikas assistant called out. Kasturi took a deep breath and went into the cabin. Devika had her back facing to Kasturi, she was talking to somebody through another door which connects to the cabin next door. Kasturi walked in and could smell a certain fragrance; it was similar to the one she smelt earlier at reception. Before she could think over it Devika turned around and once again both Devika and Kasturi were facing each other. This time the atmosphere was more pleasant, Devika let out a smile and said 'Take a seat'. Kasturi sat down and cleared her throat, ready to be grilled with all the interview questions.

'So lets see what we have here' Devika said while picking up Kasturis details and looking through them. While Devika read the details, her facial expressions kept changing, Kasturi tried hard to work out how Devika would react and what she was thinking. Just then Devika closed the folder and said 'Well your CV is very impressive but im afraid I won't be offering you this position'. Devika is a very practical women, she does not beat around the bush and always gets to the point.

Kasturi sat there in silence, Devikas answer was so straight out she did not know how to react, she gathered herself and said 'okay maam, thank you' and started getting up to leave. 'Instead I have something else that you might be interested in' Devika said in a hopeful tone. Kasturi turned around puzzled. 'Kasturi your education and qualifications are too high for this position, so I have decided to offer you the role of Head of our Human Resource department, that's if you want it'. Kasturi was stunned and speechless. 'But maam I have only just graduated I have no experience of management role, I only came to start as a junior, maam maybe you have my details mixed up im only 21 how can I be head of a huge department?' Kasturi found all of this to be so surreal. 'Kasturi, I understand what you mean, you have full right to think like this but you must know, Devika Sabarwal does not make a decision with out thinking it through. I have full faith that you are the best candidate for this role. I have 25 years of experience in this field, I can sense talent, hard work and a persons ability from a mile away. Sometimes a persons qualifications and age are not everything, often we need on the job experience, we need to put ourselves in the situation and see how we come out. And I know you can do it. So what do you think?'

Kasturi was not so sure, it was a huge responsibility, but she did not feel like backing out, she knew a chance like this will never come again. Sometimes we have to step out of our comfort zone and see what it feels like to experience something new. She looked at Devika and said 'Ok maam I am ready for the challenge, I accept the job offer'. 'Fantastic, I like your confidence' Devika said with a wide smile, and shook Kasturis hand. 'Ok take a seat outside, my assistant will bring you all the details and let you know when you will be joining us.' Kasturi got up and sat outside, she still had mixed feelings about the job, she still could not work out why she agreed to the job so quickly, but something deep inside her tells her that this was a new beginning to her life, a new stepping stone, a path that will lead her to fulfil all her dreams.

'Maam if you don't mind can I ask you something please?' Devikas assistant Rita asked. Devika nodded her head to say yes. Rita continued 'Maam, how come you gave Kasturi the job of Head of the HR department without interviewing her properly; I agree she has the right qualifications but she is still very young, you gave her the position without enquiring about her further. Usually candidates go through a series of questions and personnel tests before landing a managerial role in this office don't they?'

Devika got up and walked over to the large glass window, she looked out and let out a sigh 'Rita I understand what your saying and I agree I gave Kasturi this role without going through the normal interview procedures, but I don't know why when I looked at Kasturi for the first time I realised that there is something special about this girl. She's just what we need to take this company further, young, determined and willing. Besides being from a middle class background she still came to us- world renowned Sabarwal Industries for a job. You saw what she was like earlier she was clearly very nervous, she obviously knew getting a job here is so difficult and competitive yet she did not back out. That is what I like about her- the confidence and belief she has in herself.' Rita seemed to agree with Devika and left with the paperwork for Kasturi.

Devika sat back down on her large revolving leather chair; she opened the little drawer by the side of her desk and took out a photo frame. It was a picture of herself when she was younger. Somewhere deep down Devika saw the hopes and dreams she once had in Kasturis eyes, she didn't disclose this to Rita but Kasturi reminded Devika of herself, when she was young. Devika was not from a middle class family but she still was a simple girl with simple dreams. Devikas thoughts were interrupted by a knock on the door. 'Come in' she said wiping away a tear that surprisingly dropped from her eye- something Devika hardly does or shows someone. 'Maam there seems to be a problem next door, sir has asked you to come', the peon Kabir said. Devika got up and walked over to the cabin next door.

'You know how much I hate excuses, no matter how big or small, I will not tolerate any kind of irresponsible behaviour in my department, you either do the work or you get out.' The voice boomed across the room, all 5 employees in the cabin stood in a line in silence with their heads down. 'What is the problem why are you shouting' Devika asked in a worried tone. 'Mum, if these people are not prepared to work and deliver their tasks on time, they might as well leave right now' Robbie said in an angry tone. Robbie Sabarwal- Head of the Marketing Department, he might be the next heir to Sabarwal Industries and properties, but he never shows off about it. Devika and Puru have given him the responsibility of managing the marketing department and he takes his role very seriously. 'You guys may leave now, just do as you've been instructed, draw up and bring the project back to Robbie as quick as you can'. Devika dismissed the workers and turned to look at Robbie.

Robbie stood there in a dark grey Armani suit; he was wearing a black shirt with faint white stripes. He looked very bold and dominant, he was everything a business man is- except sometimes he would get a little too angry. Robbie looked at Devika and let out a slight smile. 'See Robbie this is something about you I don't like at all' Devika said, Robbie looked at her confused 'What, what have I done?' 'Robbie you need to learn to control your anger son, one minute your screaming next your smiling, what is this, how are people supposed to behave around you, your temper is so unpredictable'. Devika was serious now, somewhere deep down she could sense Robbie was beginning to be like his father. She will go to any cost to make sure Robbie was nothing like Puru. 'Mum im fine, its just when people don't listen to me, when they don't take their work seriously, thats when I get really annoyed- just like dad im..........'...... 'No Robbie not like your dad'- Devika interrupted him 'I mean no your going to prove to be a better business man than your dad, just control your anger son, these people are so scared of you as it is, the work will be done ill see to it' Devika tapped Robbie on his back and smiled, trying to hide her insecurities about Puru.

'ok fine mum im sorry, forget all that lets go get some lunch' Robbie said with a wide smile. 'Lunch? Robbie its only just half eleven......you want lunch now?' Devika said slightly laughing. 'Mum I don't care what time it is, the rumbling in my stomach is telling me I am hungry, so that means according to my body clock it is lunch time' Robbie said with a large smile, while leading Devika out the cabin. 'No son its fine, you go get something to eat I have to finish some work, we have just done the interviews the new candidates will be starting tomorrow, you have two new ones for your department and I have also appointed a new head for HR'. 'A new HR head? But mum we already have someone' Robbie was slightly confused 'I know but I wanted another person' Devika said this and went inside her cabin before Robbie could reply. Robbie shrug his shoulders and walked towards the dining hall.

As Robbie entered the dining hall, some of the female workers on their tea break looked up and almost froze. Every time Robbie walked in somewhere, its as if everything stood still and Robbie was the only one moving. His presence in a room was always felt by everyone. The ladies could not help but look at him and try and control their heartbeats rising and their cheeks going red while the male workers looked on to see what the female workers where looking at. It was always the same, Robbie is so used to it that all he does is let out a killer smile and carry on. It's not Robbies fault he always looks good and seems like he has just walked out of a magazine. Robbie however never soaked up this attention, he has never passed a comment or looked at a female employee in a flirtatious or engaging manner. After all work is work we haven't come here to play have we? 😉

Hey Kay great part I really liked it Kasturi got a Job as a HR head of the company lucky her Devikas character was nice shes shown as an emotional person Robbie is shown good looking and hes so used to it that he dosnt care and just walks of I cant wait for ROKA to meet now
