I first wanted to show Kasturi and Amar together and make roobie to confess out of jelousy but i really dont have time to make the ff long like that plus i wanted Kasturi to do it. In the whole serial we always see Robbie doing the confessing and chasing her so now its Kasturis turn 😉

the part was really good the confession of love by robbie and expression of his feeling was so good the reason why he did not accept his love was described so well his reasoning for not acccepting his love was also right and convincing

Thank you so much 😳 it took me ages to write those scenes, i wanted it to be real and nothing too dramatic

great part update soon curious to know what will happen next how their love story will lead

Part 11: Restless in love

Robbie drove Kasturi home, through out the journey they both kept glancing at each other and smiling away, they had so much to say yet they remained quiet, the silence between them said a lot. Robbie stopped round the corner before Kasturi's house. The journey seemed to have ended so quick, they both wanted to spend a few more minutes with each other. Kasturi looked at Robbie and said:

Thanks for the lift, I should go now

Robbie: When will we meet again?

Kasturi: I guess on Monday, at work

Robbie: I want to meet you outside work, can you come out on Sunday?

Kasturi: I have a wedding to attend this weekend, we'll meet on Monday okay?

Robbie wasn't too happy but agreed.

Kasturi: okay bye

Robbie held Kasturis hand and stopped her from opening the door, he leaned forward and gave her a kiss on her cheek, he kept hold of her hand and looked at her

Kasturi: can I go now?

Robbie continued to look at Kasturi still holding her hand

Kasturi: Robbie what's up? Why are you looking at me like that?

Robbie: I am waiting

Kasturi: for what?

Robbie: arre i am waiting for my kiss. He said putting his left cheek forward

Kasturi let out a smile and blushed

Robbie: The quicker you do it the quicker you can go home, other wise we can wait here all night for you to finish blushing……i don't mind. He said in a naughty voice winking at Kasturi.

Kasturi let out a big smile, held Robbie's face in her hands and kissed him on his cheek. She loved this naughty teasing side to Robbie. They both went home that night feeling happy from with in.

Robbie rushed to work on Monday morning, he waited the whole weekend wanting to meet Kasturi. Robbie cannot remember the last time he felt this content about his life, through out the weekend he was thinking about Kasturi and the way she got him to admit to his feelings, Robbie never thought he would fall in love with someone, or that the feeling of love would be so beautiful. Robbie walked through the office corridors smiling and greeting everyone he met on the way to his cabin. He stopped by the HR department and wondered if Kasturi had arrived to work yet, he wanted to go in and check when he heard Amars voice coming from inside, he did not want to face Amar just yet, Robbie walked into his cabin and sat down on his large black leather chair and let out a satisfied sigh.

Robbie spent the morning looking through his files half heartedly; he could not concentrate on anything knowing that Kasturi was in the next department, he wanted to meet her, he decided to call her and ask her to meet him for lunch.

Robbie tried her mobile first but there was no answer so he dialled her cabin number. Kasturi saw on the caller ID that Robbie was calling from his cabin. She smiled to herself and picked it up;

Kasturi: Hello

Robbie: Hello, its me

Kasturi: I know its you

Robbie: What are you doing?

Kasturi: playing cricket(!) usually people do work in the office

Kasturi laughed, Robbie let out a grin and said: lets meet for lunch

Kasturi: Lunch? But how are we going to go for lunch what if someone sees us?

Robbie: Don't worry we wont be in the dining hall, iv booked a table at a restaurant, I will meet you outside the office

Kasturi: but…

Robbie:….no ifs no buts, your coming that's final

Kasturi knew there was no winning she agreed and hang up.

Robbie held his phone to his chest and smiled, he turned round on his chair to face the front of his cabin when he sees Kabir (office peon) standing in front of him.

Kabir: Sir aap date pe jarahe ho?

Robbie got up from his chair and said: Tumhe kitne baar kaha apne kaam se matlab rakho! Who sent those files?

Kabir: There from the HR department

He handed them over to Robbie with shaky hands, he was always scared when Robbie raised his voice. He was surprised to see Robbie smiling at him while taking the files, Robbie thought of Kasturi at the mention of HR and let out a dreamy smile.

Robbie: abh tum ja sakte ho

Kabir was even more surprised now, Robbie never spoke to him in a soft tone. He couldn't believe it he ran out before Robbie changes his mood.

Robbie sat down and opened the file, he flicked through the pages and came across a pink folded paper. He opened the paper and saw a note written inside:

"x xxxx xxx"

Robbie let out a smile and wrote on the paper; 'I love you' he folded it up and returned the file back to Kasturi. Robbie carried on and tried his best to keep himself busy so that Lunch time would come quick. After much trial he finally gave up, the clock seems to have stopped for Robbie, he couldn't wait any longer, he got up and walked towards Kasturi's cabin.

He took slow light steps looking around if anyone was there, he looked through the window and noticed Kasturi standing by the book shelf with her back towards the door looking for something, there was nobody else around. He slowly opened the door and quietly walked behind Kasturi and put his arms around her waist. Kasturi froze and was about to let out a scream when she could smell Robbie's perfume. She instantly knew it was him, she held his hands that were still around her waist and said:

Robbie what are you doing? Somebody might see us

Robbie: I don't care, I cant wait any longer I had to come and see you. He put his head on her shoulder. Kasturi lifted her hand and touched his face: We were going to meet for lunch you could have waited its only another hour.

Robbie: another hour? Do you realise how long that is for me to wait for you? Come lets go now, you can finish your work later. Robbie turned Kasturi around and started walking towards the door.

Kasturi: Robbie wait how can we go now. What's wrong with you?

Robbie looked up at Kasturi and said walking towards her in a naughty tone: why don't you know what's wrong with me? He carried on walking towards her, as Robbie took steps forward Kasturi took steps backwards, finally she ended up bumping into the bookshelf with Robbie just inches away from her face. He raised his right hand and caressed her left cheek. He wanted to hug her hold her tight to his chest, Robbie was still coming to terms with the fact that they were together and in love. They both looked into each others eyes, Kasturi held Robbie's hand and said: I am sure you can wait another hour, come one lets get back to work. Robbie let out a soft groan as Kasturi almost walked him back to his cabin.

Devika was working in her office at home when her phone rang:

Hello

Shivani: Hello mum its me

Devika: Shivani how are you? Its so nice to hear from you after so long

Shivani: I have not called for a chat I just called to say me and Raunak will be coming to India soon, Raunak is coming for a charity concert, the date is yet to be finalised, I thought I should call and let you know before you find out from the press and accuse me of not telling you first.

Shivani was cold and blunt on the phone, it was nothing new, Devika was used to this tone from her daughter.

Devika: you will come home and stay with us wont you?

Shivani: I am not sure if I don't find a nice hotel than yes I guess we will have to stay at your place. I will let you know okay bye.

Devika hang up and closed her eyes. She knew Shivani did not like coming home but she would always ask her in the hope that Shivani will agree. What ever the reason, Devika always looked forward to hear or see her daughter, she was pleased that at least Shivani will be in the country for a while she can even see her from a distance if needs be.

Back at the office, even after meeting for lunch Robbie's hunger of being with Kasturi was still there. He called and asked her to meet him after work. They drove to a quiet spot on a hill top.

Kasturi: why have we come here?

Robbie: Because this is my favourite place, I come here often when I need to clear my head. It's a beautiful view from up here.

They got out the car and looked around, the sun was just about setting, there was a slight breeze in the air and the birds were chirping.

Kasturi: It is a beautiful place. So what do you usually come here to think about?

Robbie looked down at the ground, let out a sigh and sat on the side of his car bonnet.

Robbie: Nothing much really, just things that are on my mind, things I need to get away from.

Kasturi watched as Robbie spoke, he had a tense look on his face there was something playing on his mind. She walked closer to him and said: Whats wrong Robbie?

Robbie looked up at Kasturi, he knew he couldn't lie or hide anything from her.

Robbie: Shivani called mum today, shes coming to India soon. I just hope everything goes fine when she does come this time.

Kasturi: What do you mean, are you not happy that she is coming?

Robbie sighed and said: it is complicated Kasturi, my family members just cant live under one roof, things from the past keep coming up and I know there is something eating away at mum but she remains quiet.

Kasturi stood in front of Robbie and held is face and said: Don't worry I am sure everything will be fine, I have seen how Devika maam is, she probably is just worried about you lot, every mother worries about her children no matter how old they are.

Robbie pulled Kasturi closer to him and held her round her waist

Robbie: okay forget all of that, tell me whats your idea of a perfect surprise?

Kasturi looked at Robbie confused and said: why?

Robbie: Kasturi you ask too many questions, tell me

Kasturi: okay I guess a nice surprise is when you give something to someone totally unexpected, something they have always wanted, you should make it a day to remember a day full of happy memories.

Robbie: wow your thoughts are so deep, he said teasing her. Okay tell me what is the ideal romantic setting in your opinion?

Kasturi: A room full of candles and flowers, soft romantic music in the background, two people totally in love standing in the middle staring in each others eyes and swaying slowly to the music. Kasturi described the setting and almost went into a dreamy mode.

Robbie pulled a face and said: people are right, you girls are so mushy when it comes to romance. He laughed as Kasturi squinted her eyes at him.

Kasturi: acha so we are the mushy ones and what about you guys? Your forever chasing us girls around but when it comes to expressing and committing, everything becomes all mushy and yuck. Besides why were you asking me these questions?

Robbie who was still laughing at Kasturi's reaction and comments said: hey don't get too happy and think I will be doing any of those things for you, I was just making conversation.

Kasturi let out a gasp and started hitting Robbie lightly on his chest, Robbie put his arms up trying to defend him self, they both laughed as they were playfully fighting, Robbie pulled Kasturi into his arms and hugged her tight. Kasturi put her arms round Robbie and her head on his shoulder she was still laughing when Robbie suddenly looked up and said: Amar?
