This is an amazing start to a wonderful story!

Prerna is back to where she lost everything. I hope this time she gains every happiness that she deserves in the very same place. Well, I don't want to see the old Rishabh who feared to lose Prerna to Anurag again, but it's important that he faces his fears once and for all.

Waiting to see what Prerna, Rishabh, Anurag and especially Komolika do.

Can't wait to read the next part.

So here's the update. It looks like shooting will begin, and I don't want to lose my enthusiasm to write because of the goings on in the actual serial, ironically. 😆

Lost and Found

Mr Bajaj was in control. Once it was decided that Prerna and Kukki would be moving to Basu Bari, his focus was solely on their safety and security. He sent his whole team to figure out security loopholes, appointed security guards, the works. The Basus could not protest as Moloy went all out to ensure that there were no obstacles. Guilty conscience, maybe? Anurag for one was caught in a dilemma; to express himself or to not express himself (as always). He buried himself in work, hoping to put off the inevitable. Komolika was in her watchful mode, not caring for Mohini’s open protests, not sympathising with her, there was a cold silence.

On the day of her discharge, Mr Bajaj waited outside her room for Veena to arrive with Prerna’s clothes. He could not shake off his inner turmoil. He looked up as Veena bustled in, “I have packed all her clothes, so many memories in them. Those times when she was carefree and happy, fooling around with all of us constantly.”

Mr Bajaj almost whispered, “ I wish I had seen her during that time of life. I wish I could see her like that.” Veena turned to him, “ Mr Bajaj, I don’t know how to say this, but that girl has been through a lot, you know it all. Such experiences sometimes defeat the core of an individual. She respects you immensely, and at this point, I think you are very important to her. Rest,I personally leave it to God. ”

Mr Bajaj nodded but a stray thought cropped up unbidden, Prerna’s subconscious mind too chose Anurag. He then entered the room where Prerna was waiting, all ready to leave. She gave him a warm smile. Mr Bajaj looked at her,she looked fresh and pretty as a flower. “Take care of yourself, Prerna. How is the intern doing? Has she settled well?” Prerna replied, “ Oh, Kuhu is a darling. Full of life, and masti, and yet she takes good care of me. Thank you for arranging such a sweet companion.”

Just then Anurag entered, having completed the hospital formalities. She got up to leave, as she walked to the door, she turned around, “ Mr Bajaj, if you’re going to be in Kolkata, do come and visit me. You will,won’t you?” He just smiled at her.

As they stepped out, Kuhu/Kukki joined them. Glancing at her father, she walked away with Prerna. As Mr Bajaj walked behind, ANurag fell instep with him, “ You do know, this is not the best situation for any of us. Of course, they will be well taken care of. I hope we are able to find a more workable solution.”

Mr Bajaj nearly lost it, he stopped and told Anurag, “ I am leaving the two most precious people in my life in your house. There is nothing above these two for me. I will definitely look for a ‘workable solution’. In the meantime, the slightest indication of discomfort in your house, forget about anything more serious, I will run your family to the ground. I PROMISE YOU.”

Two weeks later

Prerna had got into a comfortable routine at Basu Bari. The first day had been painful. While she walked to her room, she felt a visceral ache within her as she remembered that Sneha had been with her, the last time she was in this house.

Some of the Basus maintained a cold silence, refusing to acknowledge her presence. Moloy was his usual self, which meant he preferred to ignore the vibes around him, and Anurag? Anurag was polite and affectionate. He came in to meet her before work and came to meet her at night to enquire after her day.She presumed it was because she was convalescing; she couldn’t help feeling bewildered and hurt. She made it a habit to potter about in the kitchen, and rustle up the menu for the day. No one stopped her, no one acknowledged her, except for Kuhu who was always so effusive in her praise and love towards Prerna. Sonalika was solicitous in her attitude, almost patronising.

Bajaj Mansion

It was a rainy, wet night. Mr Bajaj was in his study,finishing his work. As was his wont, his thoughts wandered back to Prerna. In fact, he never stopped thinking about her. It was two weeks, there was no sign of any improvement. Kukki called him everyday, spoke about every single detail, sometimes meaningless, but no good news about Prerna. Though she was fond of Kuhu/ Kukki, there was not the slightest recognition. How long will this go on? Next week was crucial for their plan to take shape. And he wanted her back with him. Safe in her comfort zone.

As he turned to leave the room, the power went off. There was a slight commotion as his security scurried about, trying to find the fuse box.As he waited, he noticed a movement near the large windows of his study. He was immediately alert. He walked towards the window. Suddenly, he was enveloped in a tight hug and he heard loud giggling. As the lights came on, he looked down to a smiling Prerna!! And then he noticed his bundle of giggles, Kukki,standing behind him!

“ What is going on here? Why are you both here, so late at night? And Prerna, are you ok? Can we stop this nonsense right now?” At his stern tone, Kukki subsided, but Prerna continued to smile mysteriously. What was going on?

When Rishabh said I am leaving the two most important people of my life with you, there is nothing above these two for me.. I could feel his pain. 💔

I am honestly waiting for the Basus to make one mistake and give him a chance to ruin them 😈

And I also hope that he gets to see that side of Prerna. Now I want to know what’s the reason behind this surprise visit so please jaldi update karna 😳
