I do have a question or should I say something not going down very well with me here, considering how I loved Bajaj and Kukki's bonding. In the latst paragraph of chapter 4, why all of a sudden he is feeling so close to Sneha at the same time distant from Kukki. Kukki wasn't the one who was respobsible for the distance between them in past 8yrs. It was him and he confessed too. So him considering only Sneha as his and think Kukki left her too was a bit troubling for me. He may think Prerna is still not his but why Kukki? To me it made him look in a slightly bad light and this attraction towards Sneha a bit superficial. Like he couldn't take care of his own daughter but feels so connected to some one who just entered his life. Would love to hear your thoughts as I as a reader may have missed your thought process as a writer. I am really sorry but I thought or sharing with you get better understanding.

Rest I am loving this and lot many other stories I read on this forum.

Also, I too really love the bond between Kukki & Bajaj and I genuinely intend to nurture it through my fanfiction.

Now coming to your very valid question. So Rishabh loves Kukki probably way more than he loves Sneha. Sneha is new and his bond with Kukki is much much deeper. So in the last paragraph basically Rishabh realises that he has been living a lie. His wife, in name is his, but her soul is Anurags. Sneha in name is his but in blood is Anurag's.

When Prerna had entered he understood love he yearned for her love. He never got love from her. He never had a complete family. And in some way Sneha completed their family. So we see in this FF that when Sneha came she got Prerna closer to Rishabh.

Sneha is a piece of Prerna for him and thats why he feels so connected. Prerna always belonged to Anurag and now when Anurag comes to claim Sneha as well Rishabh gets very insecure. He has a complete family now. He has something to lose. He doesn't want to lose Sneha to Anurag also + he knows if Sneha goes so does Prerna. The last Paragraph was only about him realising his marriage with Prerna has no meaning and that he had been living in delusion. So he isn't really considering Kukki here because he knows she is his daughter.

In the next chapter you'll also see Rishabh think that Kukki is the only person who is truly his and has always been there.

I hope my explanation helped. Keep reading and the next chapter should clarify why Rishabh thought of those things.
