On the other hand, you have Anurag who has always been the 1 dimensional character. He has been shown as a harbinger of goodness but when push comes to shove, he also ended up obsessing over the only person he fell in love with and even risked his life without any care for his family. Earlier Bajaj was being whitewashed and now by revealing one of Bajaj’s infinite layers, Anurag is being whitewashed.

Anurag doesn't need white washing. He knew to deal with bajaj, there is no way other than giving him a taste of his own medicine. And that's just what he tried.

Bajaj had not confessed to Anurag before he plotted the accident. Anurag deliberately did it so that he could pin the blame on Bajaj, try to get close to Kuki and even earn back the sympathies of Pre which he thought would force her into coming back to him. Anurag ain’t white. It’s just that Bajaj is darker shade than Anurag

So obsession is good or bad depends on who is getting obsessed and why? Anurag is pinning for a woman who loves him to eternity . Bajaj is trying to secure his prized possession..he is trying to put his stamp on a woman who does not love him , and is pregnant with somebody else's child. It's lolworthy sometime back it was being discussed whether bajaj will free prerna or not..😆 infact anurag will free her if he knows prerna has moved on with bajaj. Therein lies the difference.

Even without Bajaj confessing, Anurag knew his true colors. Bajaj's confession just proved to audiences that Anurag was right about his judgement on Bajaj. Anurag has been saying repeatedly that Bajaj is manipulative, has a criminal mind and belongs in the jail.

He didn't try to get sympathies of Prerna. He just wanted to prove to Prerna that she still loves him and cares for him. He has said it out loud.

Anurag’s basis for those assumptions were that his company was on the verge of takeover by Bajaj and that Bajaj married the love of his life. If in case Bajaj had not planned all this, Anurag would have ultimately come out as the person who has done the misdeed. That’s what brings me to my previous point. Bajaj’s darker shade is making Anurag look like the lighter one. Simple as that

The difference lies in how Anurag was brought up and how Bajaj was brought up. One was an abuse victim while the other was always in a protected sheath

@bold: Isn't that an assumption? Anyways, Anurag is shown to regret is misdeed.

Anurag did not assume anything. He saw everything with his open eyes and formed a judgement. He saw Prerna still loves him, and concluded that she was manipulated into marrying Bajaj. How and why is what he still does not know.

Even without Bajaj being darker, it was clear in Friday's episode itself that writers do not intend to show Anurag anything other than the hero that he is of this show.

It’s obvious he is the hero. It’s just said people consider him to be greater than what he actually is. He holds a high opinion of himself but the bottomline is that he ain’t a saint. If need be he will stoop down to get what he needs

@bold1:I have never witnessed any scene which would corroborate this.

@bold2: No he is not. He is just a human being.

@bold3: He rightfully should, instead of allowing anyone and everyone to walk over him.

Sorry i can't buy that justification . An abused childhood doesnt give the licence to ruin people's life if they are a threat to your happiness. That's a sign of a sociopath. Every criminal has a past. . We are happy bajaj is not a saint , anurag isn't a saint either. Therr is no need to compare them . Difference is we should call them out for their mistakes. Anurag did this to get a reaction from prerna and bajaj did this to win her trust. Both played dirty. Both are sick in their heads right now.
