But I believe in a serial setting where a track should mean progress does this really work? A character like this would need consistency or else anyday she could and she does what it unexpected of her.

Inconsistencies of character can't be disguised as naive and young in my opinion. There is no solid voice to this character. A track is over, then you need the story to progress. Or it becomes inconsequential. The Veena track was misplaced,her feeling outta bounds when he maintained a distance feels misplaced,asking him for some time feels misplaced because nobody is learning anything from the interactions. A stagnant character is the worst thing that I happen to a novel or drama. Her absolute trust in her first love is also misplaced and inconsistent since they don't even communicate enough for that trust.

I was all for Prerna because I thought the CVs had a story but they dont. Its just a badly written character and I think everytime she believes Anurag over everyone else or makes a bad decision one can fall back on the first love theory and how maddening it is because it makes no sense. So then let's blame love. But it's high time we get some character development that moves beyond 'am a self sacrificial lamb who changes colors everyday'.

Yeah my biggest problem with using the theory that first love is maddening is kind of a) insulting to the intelligence of the viewers and b) absolves the writing of it's MASSIVE fallbacks. Like you said there has never been any consistency with Prerna's character, and that's not naivety or just her inexperience. It is literally the writing. They have never had a foundation for Prerna, who has just swung from one male led experience to another. The Prerna people choose to side with is, the one she exists as in respect to the men in her life, because truly that's only substance they've ever rewarded her. The AnuPre fandom harps on her as soon as she defends A in her marriage, but they shun her as soon as she shows an ounce of understanding to a man she is not only married too but now shares a child with.

So much of our chargin and disappointment isn't even at her character, it's at how baseless this writing is. How insulting it is to sit back and watch Prerna speak with zero authority in a manner where we thought we had seen even the slightest bit of development. It's not love's madness, it's just bad writing, and we can't absolve the CVs of that.

My take on the episode.

This RB is so different, he has a more depth in his characterization and it's making me hopeful. And I feel this track is for RB to realize his budding feelings for his new wife, he's gonna think in jail ki why I'm so concerned about her opinion, he wants to win the case and win Prerna's trust in himself. His line " Bahut Chahti hae apko, please meri beti ka kheyal rakhiyega" even after all the screeching,he trusts Prerna with his kid! God nothing to say! His yearning to get approval from wife's mom is just so so heartbreaking💔 And this his achaiya is breaking our heart.

Why does EX keep saying to everyone ki in sabse dur raho, mae bol raha hu dur raho🤣and how he handles his mother's bashing! Mujhe acha nehi lag raha hae🤣 WTH why does everyone has to cater to his feelings LOL! I swear if he's the Mastermind behind this accident arch then in his redemption track me mujhe wife no 3 chahiye jo use actually murder karegi bus🤣
