Oh lala update. It was intense, emotional and some nice things done on the part of prerna😊

Terrific part dear👍🏼 Rishab's reluctant behaviour in front of Maloy Basu was painful to read even Prerna noticed it and was confused to see his changed behavior. Rishab's honesty and earnesty with which he loves his mother touched Prerna's heart too deeply. And like prerna said his mother would be proud of him for each and every moment of his life. When rishab was taking kuki away with him and prerna was asking him to stop so that she can bid her bye properly that whole scene was written just brilliantly by you and I loved rishab's dialogues so much. The last office scene was so damn intense yaar that it gave me tears while reading it seeing rishab so helpless and prerna so angry just made me too much sad and she even signed the divorce papers in anger breaking rishab's heart but now I know the lion is going to roar in the next part and I just can't wait for it so please post the next part super soon pretty please ❤️

Dammit we need to lock them both in a room so they both can talk and she found out it was him who placed the fake news .Loved that she blasted him it was needed ,he needs to get over his savior complex and just talk to her and she signed the divorce papers but he did not sign it did he .It was so emotional when I'm the beginning but as always Basu had to show up to ruin it.Awesome update amazing as always.

Chapter 13:

Prerna tried the doorknob twice before she stopped. She didn't turn around, she was steaming, he knew this was a desperate move on his part.

Prerna said deliberately: Open the door before I create a scene.

Rishab: You won't create a scene. Mad as you are, you won't do that to me.

Prerna: Try me.

Rishab walked up behind her: I am.

She flung around, her long hair flying in the air. He stood calmly, waiting. She didn't hit him like he thought she would. He could see that her breathing was as uneven as his. Whether she wanted the marriage or not, a divorce was always a momentous decision and he could feel her turmoil two-fold.

He was still surprised to feel that there was something inside him still left to be broken; it was physically hurting since she started signing those papers. He almost wished she would physically lash out so that he could feel a little redeemed for having put her through all this.

She was glaring at him. Rishab knew what her eyes were saying, they always spoke to him. He knew she was holding back with great restraint.

Rishab answered: You can, if you want. You know I won’t ever hit you back.

But she did something much worse. She burst into tears.

Prerna pushed him when he instinctively went to hug her: I HATE YOU!

Rishab was near tears himself: I know. Don't cry, please.

Prerna didn't fight him when he pulled her to him now. She grabbed fist fulls of the back of his blazer.

Prerna: You are throwing away everything we had together, you are throwing away what we had with Kukki, everythinggg.

Rishab blinked back tears: I know.

Prerna was resting her head on his chest: Why...Rishab...what did I do (she hiccup-cried)?

Rishab: You didn't do anything, Prerna. I don't want you to ever blame yourself. I got in the way between you two and I wronged you.

Prerna struggled to speak between sobs: Toh that was the past, na? I made every effort in this marriage, hai na?

Rishab sighed as he hugged her around the waist: You were perfect.

Prerna slowly: Then whyyy are you doing this?

Rishab: You are so used to compromising for others... I don't want you to comprise for me.

Prerna protested: I am not. I am NOT!

Rishab: Yes, you are. What kind of life is this to live? Just to take care of Kukki...no you deserve a real marriage with someone you love. You are only 25, you have a full life ahead of you and I don't want you to spend it like this. You have always wanted him. You cannot compromise on that, I won't let you.

Prerna could feel his deep regret in his breathing.

Prerna wiped her tears and looked straight it at him: So do you.

Rishab looked confused: What?

Prerna sighed: Isn't that what it is about at the end of the day? You want a real marriage and you can't bear to be with me anymore.

Rishab looked taken-aback: No! I didn't do this for me, Prerna.

Tears flowed down her face: Is it Tanvi?

Rishab looked away in disappointment: She's just my adopted cousin. I don't know what in my behavior gave you such an idea. How could you even think that? You wouldn't accuse me like this, if you knew. (Angrily) It's good that we are meeting probably for the last time. I can't bear how low your opinion is of me.

He abruptly let her go and walked out of his office.

Prerna recovered from the shock of his leave and felt a fresh wave of humiliation for having fallen weak enough to ask him about Tanvi. He could go marry anyone he liked, she shouldn't have let on that it mattered. She wiped her tears and walked out of his office with as much dignity as she could master. Prerna would always be grateful to Mr. Mehra for offering her shield and keeping up small talk while walking her out that day. She didn't want to do that long walk alone in front of all of Rishab's employees.

That night at the office...

Rishab stormed back and forth in frustration. How could she accuse him of that? So she noticed Tanvi's attention, but how could she not know him enough to know he could never hit on Tanvi!?

Rishab: It doesn't matter. It doesn't matter. (He looked at the papers on his desk).

Mr. Mehra came in: Should I take those papers, sir?

Rishab sighed: You might as well, Mehra, it's all over.

Prerna came home and told her family that is was all over. They were kind enough not to tell her off right away for eloping with Bajaj, Prerna figured her mom probably had something to do with that. Before her Bhabi could whine, Prerna confirmed that she was going to take a job soon to support the family.

Veena pulled her aside and whispered: Have you lost your mind!? You are pregnant and will show soon. How will you work?

Prerna: I will manage. It's not like I am seeking laborer's work mom. I will start applying tonight.

Veena: Are you thinking about Anurag?

Prerna: No ma, I can't go back like stupid Rishab thinks I will. You can't just go back.

Veena nodded and brushed her fingers through Prerna's hair: I think that's the right decision. I will support you all the way, my girl. You have to be strong, sweetheart. This world is cruel.

A few days passed.

Mr. Mehra walked into Mr. Bajaj's office...

Mr. Mehra: Sir, I think there is something you should know. Actually two things.

Veena answered the door when Rishab rang like a mad-man.

Rishab abruptly: Namaste. Where is Prerna?

Veena grimly: You gave up your rights to see her.

Rishab looked down, embarrassed: It's not about that. I came because of the job application. She sent an application to one of my affiliate companies.

Veena archly: I am sure that was by mistake. She wouldn't have applied if she knew you were associated.

Rishab with pleading eyes: Please, don't let her work. She's months pregnant.

Veena angrily grabbed his wrist and walked him into a room and closed the door: No one here knows yet. And in any case, they can't reject her for being pregnant, it's against the law.

Rishab pleading: You can't let her work! How will she manage commuting and all the stress and demands!?

Veena: The same way every other middle-class woman manages, Rishab. This is her life now. And why are you here!? You gave up any right to be concerned when you AGAIN made the decision for her that you told me was HER'S to make.

Rishab: I knew she would compromise. I didn't want her to.

Veena: Well you have done all the damage you could, now leave. This is her life now and she has decided to work for it.

Rishab's voice was shaky: Could I please see her?

Veena: No.

Rishab: Please.

Veena: No and anyways, she's gone to an interview.

Rishab frustrated: And you let her go? In public transportation!?

Veena: You think I wanted to? I am her mother! Her safety is my primary concern. But she's adamant. And I think she's right at the end of the day. I don't want my daughter to be at mercy of anyone (she glared at him).

Rishab earnestly: Which way did she go?

Veena: I am disappointed in you. Go home, Rishab. She's no concern of yours anymore.

Rishab nodded: She is actually. I never signed the papers.

Veena looked at him coolly.

Rishab: Which way did she go, please?

So I was right he did not sign the divorce papers thank the Lord even look it took her sign it to wake up glad to see he is finally trying to go after her love that she is not waiting for either of the two men but trying to look out for herself .Veena took her son in law to task very good awesome update.

So Prerna was jealous
