Right now...I'd prefer if Ekta would actually turn RB into a proper villain or something...That'd be a better utilization of the character instead of this nondescript dude who doesn't inspire emotions...Also, the entire situation is very laid-back for a supposedly horrible situation...Disengaged tears, bland conversations...Boring is the word...I remember contract marriages from Ekta shows and they managed to affect me to some degree...I feel nothing for this...😆 And it's not just that but every aspect of this soap...Nothing seems intense or dramatic in a good way...Just basic crying for no reason, boring villainy and general blahness...😆
Exactly. They have based him completely on season 1 without building him up in this season. They took the tracks from season 1 but none of their characters are what those were. That season had a build up, intensity that could be felt.
In this nothing like that. I don't feel bad for Prerna, neither is Bajaj igniting that sort of excitement which his shadiness & grey character should. Bajaj at this looks like a pretty decent guy minus that proposal & even in that he has been too good for someone hell bent on ruining a family for his personal vengeance. Bajaj should be cold, someone sending chill down your spine. While he is still better, Prerna is just not. Side characters have been reduced to be fancy jokers with no role.
I remember in IPKKND when Arnav forced Khushi to marry him, it was intense as hell & we all felt for Khushi & hated Arnav for doing that. Side characters had a role in that track.
Bajaj-Anurag is much more exciting watch than PreJaj because atleast there is passion, emotions & intensity. Prerna is bland in front of Bajaj as if writers are trying to show her as someone who is emotionally dead.
