@missbennet . If you watch the entire series , s2 , this has been their problem always . Thats why i could never connect to anu pre and their kasautis . You have summed up the flaws in the writing perfectly . So if you still feel this is the case , kzk2 is doomed .bajaj fans wont get anything good or memorable , like anu pre fans..this anu pre hype and exitement and expectations is only due to off screen scene . Otherwise they too hate it . Change the actors and there will be zero takers for this shit.

Right now...I'd prefer if Ekta would actually turn RB into a proper villain or something...That'd be a better utilization of the character instead of this nondescript dude who doesn't inspire emotions...Also, the entire situation is very laid-back for a supposedly horrible situation...Disengaged tears, bland conversations...Boring is the word...I remember contract marriages from Ekta shows and they managed to affect me to some degree...I feel nothing for this...😆 And it's not just that but every aspect of this soap...Nothing seems intense or dramatic in a good way...Just basic crying for no reason, boring villainy and general blahness...😆

Exactly. They have based him completely on season 1 without building him up in this season. They took the tracks from season 1 but none of their characters are what those were. That season had a build up, intensity that could be felt.

In this nothing like that. I don't feel bad for Prerna, neither is Bajaj igniting that sort of excitement which his shadiness & grey character should. Bajaj at this looks like a pretty decent guy minus that proposal & even in that he has been too good for someone hell bent on ruining a family for his personal vengeance. Bajaj should be cold, someone sending chill down your spine. While he is still better, Prerna is just not. Side characters have been reduced to be fancy jokers with no role.

I remember in IPKKND when Arnav forced Khushi to marry him, it was intense as hell & we all felt for Khushi & hated Arnav for doing that. Side characters had a role in that track.

Bajaj-Anurag is much more exciting watch than PreJaj because atleast there is passion, emotions & intensity. Prerna is bland in front of Bajaj as if writers are trying to show her as someone who is emotionally dead.

Can't feel the helplessness of the situation. As a matter of fact, I was supposed to feel the angst of separation or the hatred of this deal but I can't. I can't feel the emotions!

Can't feel the pain.

Infact we can laugh off most of the things.

As for Bajaj, it's all loosely based and vague. But atleast new to my eyes and it'll take time for me to get bored of him (which I hope I don't get ever).

But other characters, I don't feel anything at all lol.

Ditto for Bajaj. It will take atleast a month to get bored of him. I hope they better show some character development in him during that time. Some arc to him is fine, otherwise I can't take this no matter how interesting the character was in season 1.

It's not that I haven't watched it at all before...But I'm obviously watching it consistently now...So the lack of depth in writing seems even more glaring bcs I'm paying more attention...I don't know about Anupre but the fact is this that if Ksg wasn't Bajaj...I would've never watched it...So I guess it's applicable for others as well...I do feel this soap only depends on its actors to perform miracles without providing them any material to do so...The standard of ITV shows have fallen so far that stuff like this works as well...😆As I said, I feel nothing for any of these characters...That includes RB...Sure I find him intriguing but it's been over three weeks...We have to move beyond formalities already...Upar se the marriage track is not only rushed but senseless...There's no real compulsion and no real desire from the two sides involved...Pata nahi what nonsense is this...😆

Exactly. Contract marriages are supposed to be dramatic. And this serial should spell Drama. I am okay with it but not no basis. Like blahness is the right word. 🤣 And I really, really wish Bajaj were stronger, in terms of the character. Not just some Greek God mature grey look, amazing clothes and gait and some confident attitude and of course charisma. Some better backing.
