It saddens and disgusts me in equal parts that ekta kapoor is having the mindset to show a storyline such as this in todays day and age and actually getting away with it... In these times where the #metoo movement has united women of the world and brought to the fore the real problems that women face in work places at the hand of more powerful men, this is truly repulsive. And it's further worrying when young women such as ourselves cannot see or perceive it or try and justify it saying let's wait and see how this man changes..

How does that even matter? A change of heart or good dead in the future doesn't change that fact that today a powerful older man is creating a situation where a helpless younger woman has hardly any choice but to give in to his demands.

I mean those characters are meant to put them in the situation but AnuPre will be defined by their own decisions & not by others actions. Bringing complex, genuine real life issues in this show & throwing them here & there casually for comparison is not fine. It's a show that will operate on these mechanics & those getting bothered by it for teaching wrong things & what not need to understand that tv soaps are not meant to teach things to people. The disclaimer is there for a reason.

I completely agree with you that TV shows particularly EK shows should never be used to learn lesson. With that being said, if people have issues with what is being shown, they should not voice their opinion against it? What’s wrong with voicing our opinion in a free forum🤔

This show will have lot of Metoo with Anurag & Prerna but none of them will still grow to battle those who intend to exploit them. All the time it will be them not having any choice even when getting married is not the only & final option & their decisions can provide them with different outcomes. AnuPre themselves are examples of toxic couple, something that's not fine to show in modern world.

But when has Ekta cared about modern trends & honestly even people don't as long as they get to see their favorite pair on screen.

Some people here can't say Bajaj is wrong without bringing Anurag deal with Komo...do they even think before they write..

NB was wrong, prerna action in that track was questionable but NB was wrong

Komo was wrong..anaurag action in that track was questionable but komo was wrong

Same goes fo this new character whom people can't come to terms in calling him wrong..but hey anurag was wrong one point so it's all okay.

Plus to those saying aisa Kya ho Gaya.. everyone knew B gonna put marriage proposal to P are the same people who were saying abhi to there is nothing that shows Bajaj is going to put this condition..he just saying to leave anaurag...bhaah humbuggg such double levels people have...no wonder Ekya Maya caters to such audience

When criticising, everyone in their positions comes under scrutiny. Every character's behavior that includes leads as well who will be shown behaving like her 20 yrs old characters or even worse in modern times.

Besides, applying lot of brain to Ekta shows will be serious headache & the woman doesn't care. She has made it clear on numerous occassions. There is a reason why TRP of ITV shows have come down from 22 to 2.5 in last 20 years because of such content. But she is fine with 2.5 as it is still the best for TV.

Totally.. Nobody is taking life lessons from a TV show. At the same time there is no taking away from the fact that media, even entertainment has a certain responsibility towards society in general.. A certain negativity is acceptable in the name of drama, but not when it highlights the very things that we as a society are battling with today.

Sorry to butt in but trps came down from 22 to 2 is not coz of same rinse repeat stuff but way GCC trp is being calculated now...they changed the method of calculation...

From 2 you can back calculate old way of trps which wud be close to 18 ot 20

Btw rinse repeat all I agree but why people not call out BS a BS just coz u like some actor or hate some actor or dislike the love some show some couple..coz that's more idiotic than the track itself

Prerna has two choices -

1 Refuse the proposal and wait for Anurag to come out of the jail, but she has to do this without his money as Mr. Bajaj will take every penny from him, it will be a difficult choice but anything is better than selling yourself to the highest bidder.

2 Marry Mr. Bajaj, in this she is getting a luxurious life and a honeymoon Anurag promised in Switzerland, you would think that someone who has been forced into a marriage would refuse to accept expensive sarees and gifts from Mr. Bajaj, but makeover is more important than self respect, she will have access to practically everything owned by Mr. Bajaj and she can always romance Anurag in her dreams. Easy Way Out.

Prerna does not care about money or luxury, does she? Her decision will tell

Mr. Bajaj is abusing his power and money, that's his modus operandi and Prerna will choose luxury over hardwork, that's her modus operand. There is no message, this is a Balaji show
