Just one thing.

It's the intention that matters. He didn't blackmail her so that he can enjoy her beauty or young age or innocence. It was to destroy Anurag and she'll be treated with utmost respect.

Please don't compare to Naveen's scenario 😵

not a single bajaj fan and also the prerish fans will find romanticism in this track .. yup they could adore both together in same frame, but from this romance .. i dont think no one... their problem is , why people support bajaj or prerish as couple despite knowing the fact their fav ship is in trouble , thats it.

Prerna has a marvelous way to get out of all this- let everyone go to hell & she can escape all this. She is not responsible for Basus being target. She can give no two shits to Bajaj's proposal. She can let Anu go to jail or look for evidence in other ways. And it will be fine. Till yesterday, Mohini was abusing her left-right-center & now she is ready to even fall to her feet for Anu & Prerna forgets everything about how her mother suffered. I am damn sure Prerna like a good girl won't tell Anu about Mohini's plan as well. This girl needs to learn to be selfish for her own sanity & not be moved around like a football by everyone.

Until then, she is doomed & people can let go of their women empowerment rant. It's a show that will run on the exact same thing everyone hates, all moving in circles for next 10 years. Expecting anything else in Ekta show is like expecting men to produce children aka impossible.

The point is no one forced her to marry Bajaj. She can refuse him outright. Bajaj has nothing on her that would screw up her life totally. She is 22, she can find many other suitors in her life on her own. Anurag going to jail isn't because of her but his own stupidity. But that won't happen because marriage is the only thing to solve all god-damn problem. And Prerna has to play sacrificial lamb for like next 10 years.

Bajaj is being a creep but what is stopping Prerna to get the hell out of this creepy situation if that's what bothers her so much. Truth is that Prerna is indecisive & emotional fool incapable of being practical. That was the exact reason she agreed to marry Naveen. All her braincells stop working when it comes to Anurag & the kind of love she has for him is obsessive & toxic which comes above her own goddamn self respect.

Because in the analogy you cited, parents don't give their girls the choice. Men don't propose such things directly without parents in between. And girls can't refuse because they lack financial independence on their own.

Here the proposal has been directly laid in front of Prerna because she is desperate for Anurag & for some reasons she thinks the man who sent Anurag to jail will be kind enough to give her the evidence without any kind of condition.

If Prerna refuses Bajaj, then she will have to go for a long, difficult battle which Mohini won't allow her to do it because all she cares about is Anu even if it comes at cost of someone else & honestly even Prerna doesn't care about herself. She has the desperate urge to prove herself to be obedient to Anu's family. For this battle Prerna will have to become fiercely self independent to fight for Anu. Is Prerna willing to do it?

Let's be real. The world is grey especially for those set out to destroy someone & you don't defeat these people by asking them nicely.
