I would have agreed with you had they shown Anurag acting the same way and supporting his mom even after getting to know her truth. The problem here is that he has never seen that evil side of hers or rather she has never shown him that side of hers. She is a different person with him. Yes , as of now he loves his mother blindly but unless Prerna doesn’t discuss the issue with him ,it is unfair to expect him to go against her.

Anurag has on many occasions stood up for Prerna without paying heed to what Mohini said or wanted. He went against her during Naveen track to stop Prerna from ruining her life... then there was Komolika’s halwa Kaand where he openly supported Prerna and refused to believe that she could poison his mom....Vikranth - prerna’s scandal when the whole world doubted Prerna’s character, he stood by her and proved her innocence ...the recent kidnapping track and many such times. I honestly don’t understand why people say Anurag 2.0 is a momma’s boy. Probably a hangover from s1 or we are all watching different shows. The only time he failed Prerna was when he went ahead and married Komolika without informing her and of course the pathetic public humiliation. There too his intentions were not wrong but the path he took was. He wanted Prerna to hate him and make it easier for her to move on but he never expected her to come back and fight for him.He misjudged the situation.

Only issue i have with anurag is this one only..🤔

Its not ITV bahu got best sasural and hero always listened to their mom.. In DBAH, in one track suraj left his house to support sandhya.. He went against his bhabho.. But he knew his mom's char in and out.. But i cant say same thing for anurag.🤔

That's Indian TV for you where a son doesn't know about real nature of his own mother. He grew up with her, but 24*7 her acting mode was 'On' 😆 but she never tried her luck in acting career, ghar mein hi acting karti hai.

But again does Prerna care about her own self respect? She's a woman with retarded mentality who believes if your man dumps you after banging, you should continue to romance him, but keep grudges against another woman. Such sexist women consider all such kind of insults and torture as part of their dhaga dharm. Before Anurag or anybody else taking stand for her, she needs to raise her own gira huva standard, and then she won't need any man to take stand for her. She herself will be enough.

When there is so much love , each thinks that they have certain amount of authority and control over each other . Anurag being a soft hearted person thinks that his mon loves him so much that she would do anything for him , she will get him anything that he desires and she will also accept that girl of his choice. Mohini thinks that anurag loves her so much that she can control him in whatever ways and when that control starts diminishing , its the girl who is blamed. He should go according to hetmr wishes only n such moms r never ready to share their laadla with any girl. The insecurities never end.... This is the root of all problems.

Its not like mohini has been constantly scheming against prerna . She was confident that her son wud come to her to take permission n she will refuse n he will listen to her. But it never happened . Veena was the wise one to judge it so clearly .

Anurag being the quintessential mammas boy will never change , nor will mohini change . He may have done some things without mohinis permission but his bond with.mohini is unbreakable . He never ever took a stand for prerna in front of mohini . And taking a stand means telling her straight that prerna is right and you are wrong. Prerna got yelled at , slapped , humiliated a lot of times by his mom and in front of his mom yet he thinks its all good between them .
