The dress got evolved in India for many hundred years. It's origins are in the central asian muslims. So basically it has old history, it's not a new invention. It is old, not invented post-47. I searched online encyclopedia, that's where I got this info. It may be national dress of pakistan but it is older than pakistan is! making it national dress doesnt mean u invented it! the variations will be there of different types- as each designer will add some personal touch, but to call it 'pakistani' is insult to those unknown indian designers who hv contributed to it for so many years. Are you getting my point?

Anyway, I did my google search, and found that my info was right. So now I give a damn to what ur opinion is! I KNOW I am right! 😃
