RECAP: Mukti finally leaves

NEW BEGINNING:

Mukti woke up to the sound of an alarm clock ringing in her ears. She woke up with a groan and looked @ the time and received the shock of her life!

M: shit shit shit, I'm so late. Oh god yeh Kavya kahan chalagaya? I told him to wake me up for the meeting. Lagta hain ke woh office keliye bhi nikalgaya hain.

She jumped out of bed and ran into the bathroom. 15 mins later she came out in a bathrobe and was searching more like rushing through her clothes trying to find something decent to wear for the meeting with the investors. Finally after a half-an-hour search, she came out with a black business suit for women which consisted of a black formal skirt which was just above her knees by a slight inch and a jacket which was full sleeves and to go with it, she put her up her in a bun to make her seem more professional.



Mukti looked @ the time and saw that it was 11:45. She had never woken up this late be4. Then again after what happened yesterday, obviously she would have woken up @ this time.

M: If Choti ma was here, then she would have killed me. Man I still need to have my breakie as well. Hope dadi ma has still got something on the table.

She exited out of her room with the necessary files that she needed for her meeting with the investors and ran down the corridor, down the stairs and into the dining area. She was surprised to see that Kavya was sitting there and even more surprised that he was still in his PJ's. He looked messy as ever but still cute @ the same time Mukti thought.

Kavya looked @ his best friend and saw that she was a business suit. He then remembered that he was supposed to wake her up this morning for her meeting. He checked the clock and saw that it was 5 mins to 12:00. Her meeting would be starting in 20 mins time. 'Shit, now I'm in for it! I totally forgot about me having to wake her up. She is gonna kill me!'
K: Mukti………………
He walked upto her while she sat down and quickly started gushing her cereal down her throat
M: yeah?
K: I'm really sorry that I didn't wake u up but its just that I kind of woke right now and well after last night, I was like done for. That party totally wiped me out and………….
M: Kavya, no need to give xplanation ok. I need to go now anyways. Meeting gonna be starting soon & I don't wanna be LATE otherwise my life over here is done 4!

K: bye Mukti and yeah take my car.
Mukti shouted back: THANKS!

She swiped the keys of the key holder and went in2 Kavya's car. It was a black convertible Ferrari. Kavya loved his cars. She smiled @ the memory of her closest friend ever!
The bank was just a simple 5 min drive. She played a CD and started dancing to the music. It was her favourite track – 'The Way I Are' 4rm Timbaland. Ever since she had heard it, she began asking Kavya for the song. She totally loved it.

Mukti was starting to relax and enjoying the ride. Today was the day that she would be starting a new life! She was hoping that 4rm today, she would forget whatever happened to her in India and would be moving ahead in her life so that whatever past may come back to her, she could remove from her life within a split second. She remembered her promise that she gave to Prem.

"I promise you……… mein tumse vaada karti hoon, ke aaj ke baad pyaar mere zindagi kabhi nahin aayegi. Agar pyaar mere zindagi mein aane mein koshish bhi ki thi na, toh mein aapni poori taaqat se usse nikal dungi samajhgaye tum. Mein pyaar ko apni zindagi ko aane nahin doongi."

The same words kept on echoing in her ears as she remembered the words that she had said to him, her one and only love.

'Wait, what am I thinking? Y am I thinking about him 4? He's the one who ruined my life in the first place, so he's the last person I should be thinking about! I don't love him anymore! He doesn't even deserved to be call 'PREM'! What has he done for me? Nothing but given me pain and trouble my whole life in India! I promised him that I will forget about him and move on ahead in life. I promised him that I will never let that feeling ever enter my life again. It was because of that emotion that my life completely turned over. But now, I'm gonna get my life back on track and I'm gonna make it the way it used to be. From today, I shall forget what they did and would prove to them that I CAN move on in life. From today, I have a whole new reason to live for, I have a whole new life to live for. Today is the.........................

Just then her phone gave a buzz which interupted her 4rm her thoughts . She saw that she had message. Opening it she saw and read: ' Disco 2nite, u free?
M replied back: yep why u ask?
Person: just checking. I'm going with everyone else. I asked Kavya, he's coming as well.
M: kool
Person: oh look green signal has come
M: how u know where i am?
Person: look left

Mukti looked left and saw rockstar ANGAD KHANNA smiling @ her in his convertible Mercedes. He was like Kavya - loved his cars too

A: u free 4rm 9pm
M: for u babes anytime
A: kewl, so i'll come and pick u up with Kavya. by the way, nice song!
M: ha ha thanks.

They both went their separate ways and Mukti smiled thinking that her new life would bring alot of changes in2 it. Today really was the day for a new beginning!
